if i have obd1 jumper harness in my obd2 am i good to just delete everything including sensors and just run that one vent line down to bottom like you did ?
Do you have an exhaust leak? I would also check for any fuel leaks from rail/injectors/filter and also check the fuel pump, it's under the back seat. The caps are known to get brittle and Crack and that can cause a fuel smell aswell.
Yea removed everything except those sensors, tube is just so it doesn't smell like gas under neath the engine bay and put towards the ground you won't smell anything
The valve on the canister is called the Vent Shut Valve, and the valve up near the intake is the Purge Valve.

yea, OBD1 doesnt look for the sensors
what size vacuum cap did you use? Also might be doing this later today to free up some space
Plugging in the sensors to the harness will still throw a cel eventually for incorrect purge flow
prob 35k miles later and still no CEL
I have a p1457 code so I tried to delete the evap like you but I still have the p1457 code? Any suggestion?
Does this work to by pass it I can only pump 3 bucks a time
Yes, the tank will need a vent regardless if routing into intake or into atmosphere
So just run a hose from the tube underneath thats it. There isnt anything else
I smell gas or like an exhaust in the cabin ex 2000 except when I turn the ac should I do a delete thanks

Does the check engine light come on?
Just did this and check engine light is flashing 😂 am I supposed to put vacuum caps on the sensors or just on the intake where u take the hose off
Just tried putting caps on the sensors and still got a flashing check engine light
@vincentswift8352 not sure what you did wrong plug intake and keep sensors in. Unless maybe trying on newer car.
@@SwishLifeGarage 1998 civic I have sensors plugged In and intake plugged up
@@vincentswift8352 unless you broke the sensor or unplugged something, shouldnt have issues.
@@SwishLifeGarage bro I somehow accidentally unplugged 2 of the coils from the distributor 😂😂 it’s running great now thanks for replying and helping
I seen this & did mine as well did u remove the little black one underneath the battery tray ? is the hose just hanging there if so ? lol
