Thanks for the tips! I’ve been practicing some of these (posture, positive thinking, walking in nature, hugging my cat), but I’ve come to notice that society does unfortunately tend to make these tips harder:
4. In my experience at least, hugging is internally discouraged to maintain a sort of macho image, which I think is really unhealthy. In any case, I rarely hug my friends, and I would really appreciate the affection!
7. Getting enough sleep is nigh impossible with current school and work schedules, which I believe take up too much of our lives.
In short, while I do agree that personal habits are really helpful, we also need to construct a society that better cares for our mental health.
Facts!! The whole work/school routine should be re-imagined for sure
Those two years I was away for college and could only see my dogs every 1-2 months really took a toll. They helped me get through high school and junior college!

I think mental wellbeing is more important. But physical activity is good for your mental wellbeing. So both are good.
One of the things that really help me is tackling my fears head on. I did this about a week or two ago and the effects were good. I just try and tell myself that as long as I'm having fun with what I do and I'm not bothering anyone that it doesn't matter what other people think. I'm still working on it but I know I'll improve.

Posture and positive thinking were things I discovered a few years back that have had a huge impact on my quality of life. It seems so small to fix your posture, but it really is linked so closely to your mental state.
And I still struggle with positive thinking sometimes and catch myself thinking "I'm so dumb" when I make a stupid mistake, but I've been improving and being gentle with myself really improves my mood when I make mistakes.
You ain't had to call me out on my hunching like that 🤣
When I was feeling negative about the bullies, I always thinking of positive things and removing negative things to move on and forget about the past to take care of the health 🙏💖💖💖

Yes its so true! I find if I take a walk in nature or just step outside for some fresh air it makes me feel so better and it helps me release my stress so much .
I've also been keeping a journal and I write about my daily life and things that I go through and I've been seeing some improvements in my behavior gradually .
I also started exercising four times a week and my confidence and self love has boosted so much which makes me very proud .

When I started exercising daily (1 hour a day) I noticed that my mental health was much better. I have suffered from anxiety for years and I don't like resorting to medication. Exercise, and especially running, helps me more than the pills that the doctor recommended.
The very best thing which increases my mental health is the voice of the narrator !!💯

I really have to say this, you channel (not only one video) has helped me A LOT, I'm starting with Anxiety and your videos helped me to notice it (of course then I went to a doctor and yeah I'm starting with anxiety) Following your advices result really good and the most of the time I feel better, I'm not as afraid as the first days when I thought I was going to d1e because of a heart attack, is still scary but I can manage it a bit better. I find practicing positive thinking sooo helpful! Following this only tip can be a game changer for your mental health. Changing a point of view on things can dramatically change your daily mood and as a result lead you to a more fulfilling life 👍

Appreciate the little things and notice them often! They may be small but when you realize the importance of, say, water, you start to enjoy/notice BIGGER things very soon and you'll (hopefully) start being happier and more content about your life and yourself.

Something that really calms me down after a very long day in school: balancing stones. My mind is completly silent as I try to find the balance point between 2 stones, with the birds singing in the trees and my dog sniffing around nearby. And that's a very good feeling.

@@somberri276 "Looking at the good" didn't help when my little cousin was groomed. The risk are way too high. I believed "it was harmless", I would never forgive myself for the danger I put him, that's why I left it.
@@Jose04537 oh... I see. For your situation it's safer to just leave it, it's your choice after all. Not to mention that your brother was in it too. By "looking at the good" I meant like, there's always some small groups of people in the furry fandom that is safe to be with, of course it's hard to find them, though.
I think all these tips are very helpful!
But I also think that some of them are very difficult to achieve, especially tips about posture and sleep. When you are 27 y.o. it's hard for you to fix your posture. I have been trying for a long time and I still have a problem with it. And sleep issue is also not so simple because of many factors like flexible working hours, studying hours, and still having some housework to do. And you have just 24 hours a day.
But I totally agree with the positive impact of positive-thinking, walking in nature, exercising and hugging a furry friend.
Although it's hard for me to practice a positive-thinking in some periods of life, I always try to return to it.
From my experience, I have to conclude that you should find a type of exercise that will be relevant particular for you. It's yoga for me.
And of course, nothing is compere with a strong warm hug with your lovely pet.

finally hitting that moment where I'm trying to get better. I deleted all socials beside RUclips, and am working on reducing screentime. I try not to isolate myself and actively do things that I enjoy. I'm eating less, not necessarily better but less, and doing guided meditation when I feel it getting way too much.
I also try to find beauty in everything, spend time in nature and my pets.

I was wondering if you could make a video based on gender dysphoria , something which is being faced by majority of trans kids . As the time passes by our dysphoria gets stronger which affects us mentally as well as socially , and because of that it becomes difficult to focus on the important aspects of our life . It often gives us anxiety , depression and sometimes affects our health .
This feeling of constant uneasiness and pain often fill our thoughts with sucidal tendencies . So the only solution to overcome this suffering is to get surgery but most of us can't afford to do that depending upon numerous factors .
What should we do in that case as we our missing out from so many things in our lives ??

I feel you. I’m lonely but mainly by choice. It’s because ever since the day my mom told me I deserve to be alone and that I don’t deserve love i’ve pushed people away. Being my mother I believe every mean word that comes out of her mouth. She broke my heart over and over and she destroyed my mental health. Because of her I now have no idea how to make friends, how to understand my own emotions, how to trust people/let people in, and how to love myself. She ruined a lot of things for me in my life (mentally & emotionally) and she doesn’t even know it….Sorry for ranting to you btw. I hope your life gets better ❤️

@@octonine6212 It's one of the most toxic (Twitter) and back stabbing ("canceling") Fandom you could find. The only place you could find more drama (dogmatism, nitpicking, pearl-clutching), illegal activities (grooming of minors and sexual assault, because a lot people misuse and abuse the "sex/queer/LGBTQ positive community"), gate keeping and judgmental/codescending people (the irony) is in make up community (James Charles, ect.). A lot of people just stay (specially on Twitter) for the tailored kinks. Wouldn't recommend.
