And it’s very competitive as an ad clear weapon.
With the barrier pop artifact mod for Pulse Rifles this season, GL is boss. It's been my primary weapon for most of last season and now I don't even need to switch out to pop and stun barrier champions.
Seeing Hard Light in D was tough, Honestly think its a bit better than people expect! As a returning player i dont have half these so to be able to cover all Light subclasses for a surge with one gun is fantastic for me
Final Warning just got an insane catalyst that increases damage on marked targets and refunds ammo to the magazine. If it's 'A' Tier now, you could be looking at putting into 'S' Tier. I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Catalyst just dropped for me last night. Gotta grind 700 kills to activate.
As I said in the video with the artifact perks it's for S tier. Without them it's still solid but definitely not the best. Monte offers so much build potential and the bayonet on it is very strong.
I’ll die on the hill that says Wicked Implement should be S tier. It can slow and freeze, therefore has overload and unstoppable capabilities; I’d say anti-barrier too but that’s based on timing. They gave it headstone and it reloads with shard pickups, which they are everywhere at any given moment. I 100% request a reassessment of this weapon when you go to update this list post Final Shape launch.
The only gamemode where you actually need champion stuff is in gms and there are better options, a gun shouldn’t be S tier just because it’s S tier in one very specific part of the game
Thorn's ability negates the need to reload entirely; it's remnants spawn per kill with the hand cannon and grant 4 extra shots in the mag capping out at 40 shots. (poison effects spread with Necrotic Grips sadly do not drop remnants)

I really came to like bad juju in onslaught, extra super, rampage, and subsistence, for a primary it does the job great. Ace I could just use Midnight Coup

Sure you can use midnight just like I can use blast Furnace or chattering bone. Ace however is just the better weapon in slightly higher power deltas

21:50 I actually think they should buff sweet business in the following way: 1) first, make it use heavy ammo. Crazy right? A heavy ammo, kinetic primary? Change its nomenclature to “machine gun”, increase it’s damage to be better dps then the next best machine gun (since its kinetic it should out dps every machine gun since they’re all elemental). 2) give it triple tap in its normal perk line. 3) make its catalyst fourth times the charm. Probably becomes the best dps in the game for many bosses. I don’t care if things are broken in PvE, I think broken guns are fun. But, if it had to be nerfed, I’d start with the magazine size. I wouldn’t go down past 70 just because its magazine is so physically large so if that didn’t work well enough then you could start to adjust its damage numbers. Also, we would need a non exotic weapon in the heavy slot to use special or primary ammo. Maybe make a new linear fusion rifle weapon class with really low impact so they would be similar in damage output to a high impact sniper rifle.

But maybe it’s enough to be the second or third best exotic primary dps.
I would argue for the following instead: Change its damage and crit multiplier to match High Impact frames while keeping the other stats where they are. Roll the current catalyst into its exotic trait to keep the effect and replace it with either subsistence and/or fourth times the charm (could be called something cheesy like Sustained Business). The weapons team can then pull it back in PvP by adding in a damage modifier against guardians that scales with fire rate so it doesn't break everything. At the very least, this is what I feel like would be a balanced adjustment.
The only thing that doesnt make sense about this list is that you have done it days before final shape…. Whats the point lol. I only say that as a lot players will see this and think ohhh i should use that but in a few days a new meta arrives/arrived.

Gets solar explosions even though its a kinetic? Check. Has a cool reload, as well as sounding and feeling cool to shoot? Check. Being able to see the minimap at all times, even when ADS? Check. Verglass is one of the best weapons in the game paired with stasis builds. Necro is fun and one of my favorites but it is nowhere close to the other ad-clear primaries. Bungie themselves have said it's not where they want it to be and that's why they are buffing it.
