Oh this game was just so frustrating and difficult. 2 hearts is all you get to start with, and with that 2 hits and you're toast. Good game and fun music, but mighty difficult.
I've beaten it, but never without continuing, which is the way I try to beat games these days. My friends don't understand why I'm so strict about continuing, no matter how many times I tell them it helped me save money in the arcade and toughens me as a gamer.
I owned the Spectrum version and it was so bloody hard. I hated it! This wasn't too bad really. NES version I haven't actually touched to be honest, must give it a go some day.
It makes more sense also to make Gomez impermeable to their surroundings anyway, doesn't it? Since they can survive stuff like electrocution in the films and tv show, why not apply it to the game so it isn't frustrating among a sea of enemies?
I have, and more than once, but never without lots of continues. My goal is to one day beat this game without continuing, and I'm still a long way from pulling that off.
I played this years ago, I had the Spectrum version and it was shit hard, then I played the C64 version, it was more hard, playing this I figured "surely this can't be more jacked", take a guess, as much as I really wanted to adore it it was too tough for me.
@@corey-bird3489 Don't even need one if you know about the 1-up Room hidden under the stairs in the main entryway of the house. Gives you something like 35 extra lives, which is enough to let you be super reckless and still make it through any one of the areas. ;)
Yes but it was much easier if you put the invincibility code in the Game Genie. This is my favorite game based on a movie and my game/Super Nintendo still works!
Best sounding music of any of the versions of this game by far (better than either the Genesis or the Amiga versions even)
This game is far better than the NES version of this game in my opinion.
2021?
I love this music
Nostolgia .I remember finishing the game in dawn morning before I went to school
Venom Neff This Music is one reason why it’s my favorite Super Nintendo game to this day.

Man, this was a tough game. Some areas were mind-numbing how ever many times you tried to get through. This music reminds me of those days.
Jester's Jump! The Worst place in this Game!
@Jason Lemon, I hear you buddy! Many a deaths at Jester's Jump! I always left Wednesday till last because of this!
Karl Walsh I just now saw your reply! Thanks!
Great soundtrack indeed. Very difficult game but still enjoyable.
I've beaten this Version the SNES9X Emulator on Windows XP Gateway Pentium 3 in May 2007.
Love ❤️ this scary song 🎶!

@johannbock I've yet to do Pugsly's Scavenger Hunt yet but I've heard the remix and it's okay but your right this is better.
@superman1234393 I love this song! And no problem with posting man, I'm just sharing a passion for video game music =)

Yes that would partially be me too, anytime I play games on MAME I absolutely never continue at all.
You're right, extremely difficult but it's still very enjoyable. And the music is awesome.
@princessicewolf Yeah it's definately awesome alright. =)

Awesome song to an awesome game! I've got both a NTSC and PAL version of this game.
The music is awesome, wish I can find the time to upload all of the music but time has been brutal to me as of late. Better than illness though :)
One day I'm gonna make a heavy metal remix of this song. That bass riff is just begging for a rock arrangement
A remix of this song (in any style) would be awesome to see.
@@jfwfreo i can't help shake the feeling this game soundtrack is riffing on Mulatu Astatqé

Did you ever make the remix?
@@videomaker580 Still on the to-do list. I forgot I left this comment. I haven't made a remix in a while, but I will update if/when I make it.
@@bkdavebk Considering that was a 4 year old comment, I'm surprised l got a response (let alone same day). Good luck if you get around to it!
Even after owning this game since 1994, I still have not beaten the whole game!
Michael Pierce It’s easy with Game Genie
