The video shows how to operate 4 ... 20 mA HART instruments very easily via isolating transformers, such as VEGATRENN. Isolating transformers supply the sensor and can be used as Ex isolators in hazardous areas. Local display and diagnostics options, such as HART test jacks, are also available.

    Hi sir
How we get 4 to 20ma from 2 wire vegaplus c21 sensor for analog input

Hello, Thanks for your question. The sensor should give a 4…20 mA signal as soon as it's cabled and powered (3.6 mA during startup). The sensor itself is passive, therefore an active analogue input is needed which can supply the sensor. 📞 For more questions please contact our technical support: www.vega.com/en/service-and-training/technical-support

hello, let me ask one question, we are using vega 62 radar level transmitter in our oil storage plant, during scheduled maintenance we found 2 radars out of order and were showing false readings.we removed them and shifted to workshop and connect them with HART communicator, after powering up transmitter stucked on a reading which he detected on 1st attempt,we tried many time from different distances, but no suucces.
could.you guys please help me to.resolve this issue.?

Hello, thanks for your question. The sensor has a range around its current level echo, within this so-called "focusing range" it accepts measured value changes. This range depends on the selected application settings. If you want to test something outside the vessel, you can use the application "Demonstration". With this setting, the sensor immediately accepts all level changes. The reason for this behaviour is that in real applications normally no major level change can occur within a very short time.
