No. first you check transmitter mounting plat. Then you check it's 2 wire, 3 wire, 4 wire wire duel sensor. They mention in mounting plate. Then only you set 2,3,4 wire RTD.
Hello Thanks for your question. No, It is not possible to calibrate beyond name plate range. You need to calibrate TT in -50 degree C to -450 degree celsius.
Well am a process technician but I want to diversify into instrumentation. how do I start please? I listen to your videos on Hart communicator i was only able to grasp very few things. please help.
Hello Okotete You can start your instrumentation journey with our some basic video on Instrumentation. I have a Rosemount Temperature Transmitter and I need to apply above 20.5 mA to check the Over-range alarm setting however I am not able to sent above 20.5 mA through HART as the Transmitter is not accepting the mA above 20.5 mA. Could you please suggest any options to check the Over range alarm
Wow superb cleared understanding video brother 👌
Thanks.Stay tuned for upcoming videos
My only question is what’s the reason for the resistor at the start on the (+) side??
Well explained, appreciate your efforts
Sir, very useful and informative video thanks a lot
Glad you liked it. keep watching our videos
Can be use for any temperature transmitter
Very nice teaching method
Thanks a lot .Glad you liked it
Nice explain good knowledge sharing . 👍🌹
Thank you so much but what about field bus
Thanks for liking. Keep supporting us. Let us know in comment if you have questions
Love you ❤️ sir you are just amazing
@@mannuemotional150 Thank you Mannu
Good explain it's too much helpful
Glad to hear that. Thanks for your feedback.
the black probe of HART Calibrator is grounded or it is also having career signal
Hello Mangesh
Black cable has 4-20 mA signal
Thank you. Great job.
Thank you too! Keep watching our video
GREAT video information 👍 thanks for sharing your knowledge 💯♥️🇵🇭
So nice of you. Thanks for your comment. Please let us know, if you need video on some specific topic.
Thanks please more videos
Thank you
Спасибо. Очень позновательно
Does the resistor installed when connecting hart need to be removed at end of calibration?
Can we enter negative temperature value in the minimum temperature range ?
Can I use the transmitter as a 2 wire or 4 wire
No. first you check transmitter mounting plat. Then you check it's 2 wire, 3 wire, 4 wire wire duel sensor. They mention in mounting plate. Then only you set 2,3,4 wire RTD.
@@jegansekar4787 thank you Brother
Fantastic Thank you 😊
Thank you too!
I'm instrument technician on installation but I want come dip in calibration of filed devices valves and transmitter
Great thanks
if a temp. Transmitter nameplate marked as -50 degree c~450 degree c, is it possible to rerange it as 0 degree~600 degree?
Hello
Thanks for your question.
No, It is not possible to calibrate beyond name plate range. You need to calibrate TT in -50 degree C to -450 degree celsius.
Thank you 🎉
Thank you tahri for watching this video

Boss when your course arriving 😎 we are waiting for your course
@Nelson I am still working on it. I am working on videos as well. So it will take some time.
Sir if RTD has only 4 -20ma signal but doesn't have hart terminal its possible to calibrate using hart communicator or not thank you.
@Nelson No, It is not possible to calibrate the device if does not have HART feature.
If device does not have HART, then it need to be calibrate by using Analog Zero & Span button of transmitter
Can i select 10-25 degree?
For HART communication aint the 250ohm resistor supposed to be between the HART communicator and power supply to enable communication?
@Makhosi Yes.. Ideally, it should be between power supply & HART Communicator
How can calibration split range control valve.
Hello Mohammad
Thanks for your comment. I will try to make video on this topic, once I have enough content on this topic.
What's "RH button"?...is it different from "Enter" button or am i hearing it wrongly?
Hello RH button is different than enter button. Enter button is middle button and on the right side of enter button you can find RH button
@@InstrumentCalibration ok...thanks for the clarification

You set the alarm in the Plc program , in the transmitter just you set the range between 4 mA and 20 mA ( 0% to you 100% )
Thanks
Welcome
Why is there a 250Ohm Resistor?
thanks alot
The hart looks like it's connected in parallel
