vivian losernoobXD yeah, the scariest part is the first drop. The rest is pretty easy after that. Just remember all rides are built to be safe so no matter how scary it is you just have to enjoy it.
I went on this and thought I was going to die when the ride stopped right before the drop.😂 Once we dropped all my friends started screaming... one of my friends were crying, one was laughing, one was constantly swearing and one had their eyes closed. The air time was great though and I would go on this again even though i always think I’ll die going on tall rides 🤦♂️

this was actually amazing! I was more scared watching it then going on it. It’s super comfy and I didn’t get that feeling in my stomach and you don’t even notice you are upside down! I’m definitely going on this again! But I think they should most change most of the seat belts on the big coasters to the Yukon seatbelts since it was super comfy and secure! Good job wonderland 10/10
Just rode this today, it was worth getting my license enhanced and driving the 2 hours to get there, defenitly the BEST park in the immediate area, just want to personally say thank you to Cedar Fair Entertainment Company. You make me feel like a kid again, I'll be back soon!:)
I went on the Yukon Striker yesterday after years of waiting and all I can say is this ride is absolutely amazing!! I definitely recommend this for anyone who is visiting Canada's Wonderland. Enjoy the ride!!
For my 11th birthday my family took me to Wonderland. I went on Yukon last week. It was amazing and fun also my first time I was scared but it ended up being insanely amazing and not scary at all. The seatbelts are really good, and also comfortable and it feels like your never gonna fall off, and you dont even feel that your on the loop. Its also insanely smooth, and byfar my favourite ride i''ve been on.
Bro lucky you I only went once and got an eyelash in my eye missing the entire ride AND moved out of Canada before I could ever go there for a second time 😭😭😭😭
Its a really fun ride! I went there with my friend who kind of scared of heights but she loved the roller coaster! Its actually not to scary even at the big drop. I suggest if u go on in for the first time maybe try to get in the 2nd row. Also, when you go upside down its really not to bad, I didn't even really know when we were upside down or not.
Yeah at least you don't go upside down way up high in the air like slingshot cause if you don't know what slingshot does it basically launches you up 300 feet in the air and then flips upside down that's why some people find slingshot scary
YESS BRO I WAS IN CANADA'S WONDERLAND A FEW DAYS AGO AND I HEARD SOME PEOPLE LITERALLY REMAKING THAT EXACT SCENE ON THE ROLLERCOASTER, I WAS LAUGHING SO HARDD
Went on yesterday. Thought it would be scary. But it was actually a very well done roller coaster. Smooth, the seats restraints felt so safe and just held you in place. The drop was actually not as bad as it looks and I would do it again. If you have a chance to try it, do it. I understand why the lines are long for this, because it’s a fantastic ride.
We're finally going back here in July, and I've been so excited to ride this coaster ever since it was first announced. The moment before the first big drop in this video alone gets my blood PUMPING
Sad in quarantine missing this ride! Last year I’ve been on it 65 times and I was looking forward to 65 more time this year but most likely won’t because of the virus, which I understand, health is more important but there is always next year. 65 more times next year Yukon striker I am ready!
Just rode this today! To anyone who's scared of this one, trust me, you'll love it! The restraints are amazing, you don't get your head rocked but feel 100% secure. The initial drop is pretty trippy lol but addictive! It's so smooth! The only downside is it isn't long enough! Definitely get a fast pass plus so you can ride it over and over 👌 10/10
I always had the fear of roller coasters (cause of my fear of heights) and, guess what, this is my first roller coaster I ever did. Loved the experience
I went to Canada’s wonderland yesterday!! Im going this summer because I promised my friend I would go on this before so we could experience what would be the best day of are life’s together!
Even just watching this on my phone, I can get the sensation of how one feels when they’re paused all the way up there, and then descending…if it’s that good remotely, just think how awesome it is actually ridding it!
Did it twice today, both in the front , and I was watching the POV before I went on it and it dosent even do justice , the feeling you get during that drop is next level.
The best coster in the park. The restraints are so comfortable. the 90° drop the fact that it broke 3 records such as, the fastest dive Coster at 80mph. The longest dive Coster at 3,625 feet long. And the tallest dive at 246 feet. Definitely a must ride
I went on this 6 times yesterday, I was terrified to go on the first time but so glad I did! Ended up being my favourite ride all day, such a rush! Going on the front was friggin awesome!!
Yeah you're right it does kinda look scary when you see people hanging on the drop then going down but it does look awesome and a very smooth coaster some people think flight deck is rough
I’ve been on this ride so many times! It’s so fun, the layout is amazing, the tunnel I really love, and the drop was crazy huge it was so cool. My only issue is at the end when the ride is over, I noticed me and many other girls feel the seats pushing on your hips
I've ridden Yukon Striker 4 times now, It's not very long but it packs a punch! The drop on this ride is surprisingly forceful, and the fact that it's at a 90 degree angle makes it feel so much more faster and forceful than Behemoth's and Leviathan's. If the line was short I would ride it all day, but unfortunately everyone wants to go on it, so you have to wait a while in the line :/ If you are afraid to go on it, just do it, everyone freaks out going up but they always end up loving it. Best ride in the park easily.
I used to rank Leviathan the highest but over time, this has won me over. Leviathan's first drop is undefeated but this ride sustains the excitement unlike any other at the park.
Phoenix Smith It’s because of the single rider line, at first that line moved fast and because of it I was able to go on it over and over. I realize in August though that the single rider line takes a bit longer than it used to because more people come in August so it is more packed but I think that the single rider line is still faster than the main line but if you go in the single rider line with a group you guys will be separated
Phoenix Smith You don’t need to pretend not to know them. The purpose of the single rider line is to fill in empty seats on the train if groups in the regular line want to stay together. Therefore if you’re in the single rider line you don’t expect to ride with your group and you don’t expect to be able to choose where you want to sit because you’re put in empty seats. Doesn’t matter if you know the people in your group as you’ll be separated anyway.
@Phoenix Smith Sure. I've ridden the new coaster at my home park 155 times without a Fast Lane because of the single-rider line! A 1.5-hour line is cut down to like 2 minutes. It's a Godsend.
In the mid-80s I took a Sony 8mm camcorder on the old wooden Ghoster Coaster at Wonderland - got the front car, too. Still got the footage lurking somewhere on an old VHS tape.
I went on this thing in summer 2023. Although the ride was friggin intense and amazing, it's way too damn popular to justify riding on it for the 1-2 mins. I waited over an hour just to get on it. Highly recommend going on it in the off season.
I rode it in August 2021. Drop was a bit scary. Had my eyes shut. Felt like I was flying. Love that helix though. Yukon Striker is a real beast. I wanna ride it again when park opens in April.
Visited canada in 2019, went on this, and I started feeling sick, going on cyclone then the Wilde Beast and before I know it I was vomiting at the entrance to a bathroom near leviathan. People walking by kept asking if I was ok and I insisted I was fine because I was. Truly something I’ll never forget
I love this ride but I still don’t get why people say it’s the tallest dive coaster at 223 feet tall, because Valravn at Cedar Point is also 223 feet tall😂
Highly recommend this ride! It’s so smooth, and the seat is so well made, you feel really protected and it was just overall a flawless ride
I know and it's the perfect ride for people who have a fear of heights to overcome their fear
Nah man I love rides that make you feel free and let your arms and upper body free to move and raise. That’s the best part about a roller coaster
Next time I go I’m going on Yukon striker
i literally felt like my life was over
personally i dislike the seats, i hate shoulder restraints and love leviathan/behemoth seats
u know quarantine's getting to you when you start watching yukon striker povs
Seriously !
Bro we're almost there
Yeah
@Adamdee2 I’m going 31st july
Lol
I've been on it 6 times so far and I've got to say, it's one heck of a glorious flight. Plus, the view of the park from up top is cool.
TheRandomView tbh the ride is actually kinda peaceful. Like the the ride is soooo smooth and the air time is great 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
i loved it!

Amazing view I had at sunset.
I honestly can't believe how much I love this ride. It's amazing and easily my favorite ride in the park.
Okay I’ve gone on this a million times 😂 the front is by FAR the best. This ride is super smooth and is planned perfectly
Finally the pov that looks up. First one was horrid.

Well, coasters are different and it can also depend on the city/state laws.

Best POV of this coaster yet!

I can guarantee those "girl" screams were actually dudes lmao
