A cracking local club who would never have lost their league position in the 60s if it hadn't been for the betrayal of someone they trusted as league secretary at the time. Bob Lord at Burnley destroyed the club as he wanted the people of Accrington to start watching his club instead. The dirty sneaky side of Burnley goes back a long time.
