One riff I thought would make the list was the opening riff to “far behind” from candlebox. Being able to play that at parties in the 90’s got me my fair share of hook ups too. But the 90’s was so full of great guitar music it’s almost impossible to make a list that includes them all. Great video thanks for sharing.
Can we get a full tab of Alive? I’m playing next year at my school and I can’t find any good lessons for the solo. Also Nikola your videos are amazing and I’ve learnt so many songs through them. Congrats on 200k! can’t wait for 1 mil
Glad this is solely guitar, as for a beginner, it helps to hear what the riffs sound like without all the other instrumentation. That way when you play it, you're not underwhelmed when it doesn't sound as epic as the actual song.
Sad but true requires more gain. The tone u used for the pantera’s song, sounds like jazz/blues and stuff like that. The other tones were just sooooo good
Always with the best tabs and videos ❤️ I’m sure you’re swamped with suggestions, but if you should at least check out slow dance ii by Naked Giants. Awesome solo that’s all pentatonic. Thanks for the quality videos

So, you had room for several RHCP, Nirvana and RATM-songs, but nothing from Weezer, Alice in Chains, Oasis, Radiohead, Bad Religion OR Green Day... Good job on the variety -,-
I'm a bit tired of playing under the bridge and smells. I have both in a few of my other videos. I chose Learn to fly over Everlong without any specific reason 😁
pause it as soon as each new track appears and see if how quickly you can guess based on tab without actually listening... to be fair, I struggled to guess Cowboys from Hell 😂
When i saw the tabs from don't cry i immediately thought they looked like house of the rising sun from a different video of yours, also sounds a bit the same
is it possible to tab a song, start to finish by just inventing a single tasty riff? basically a riff first and then work from there how it starts and how it ends
@@nikolagugoski Awesome. Perhaps you would consider doing the last remaining uncovered Jimmy Page acoustic number from his pre Zeppelin Days. Spanish Blood - ruclips.net/video/QK1ia1HdVD4/видео.html Thanks
@@nikolagugoski I like the first album, very spontaneous, raw and genuine. The second is ok more or less. From the third on, I think they are a very banal pseudo-rock band with no real value whatsoever.
So glad you included Never Meant. It's hard to believe it came out in the 90's
Killing In The Name never fails to melt my face everytime I hear it
So glad you included the little slide on "sad but true" it makes so much difference, but many leave it out.
Amazing that you included American Football in this! So underrated
I really like how it sounds with both guitars. Plus I guess it's an iconic math rock riff :)
@@nikolagugoski please do the tabs to the solos John Frusciante played to Scar Tissue in Budapest
This was the only one I didn't know, never heard of that band even.
The fact that there wasnt a single alice in chains riff saddens me
That means he’s wrong!
Best guitarist of the 90s not represented
Yeah I liked the picks but it definitely needed at least one AIC.
Alas
I think my favorite AIC riff of the 90s is either 'We Die Young' or 'Dirt'. Or the verse riff on 'Dam that River'

Mother’s Milk was released in 1989. Sorry but I had to say it.
@@skeezeball89 wrong idea🤓🤦♂️
Great playing. Thank you as always for these. Man, there's something magical about that Smashing Pumpkins riff. It's a time machine.
After a dozen of MTV-rock riffs Never Meant really caught me off guard
Respect for playing ‘Song 2’ correctly and not dropping down to just low power chords 🤘

Always a pleasure Nikola! Congrats on 200k by the way. 1 million soon;)
I'm so glad you played 1979 and Testify
it's wonderful, I've been looking for such list for so long. you are the best, man! thank you so much for your work and dedication!
From a musical way, that was a great time to be a teenager!!!

This is a great list! Often times lists like these don’t capture my experience, but this list - this list put a smile on my face!!! Thank you!
Also, today I learned that Nas sampled Sting!!
Never imagined Nikola tabbing Foo Fighters or Smashing Pumpkins but it was pleasant anyways 👌
Thank you once again for quality content
Always giving us some of the best 🤘🏻
just Great .Thanks a lot
Incredible video! You need to do a tab of the solos that John Frusciante played on Scar Tissue in Budapest this year please!
Good selection and playing 😁
Thank you so much ☺ I love this
1:34 very nice
Good stuff thank you 🙏
Great job man! Do more please.
Aquellos maravillosos años!!
Gracias tío!!!

Yeah, I'm pretty bad at dialing metal tones
Please do a tab of "Look Around" RHCP from album I'm With You
my man saw the paul davids video on song 2
Yup 😄
Another legendary lesson from Nikola. Thank you!🙌
This list definitely needs undone!
Great vid
Definitely going to try out Paranoid Android and the Sting and Tears in Heaven song next month
Paranoid android, heart shaped box and tears in heaven are on another level. They grab the audience from the first note.
Damn great list
There were more than a couple of these that I didn't know were 90s songs.

This video made me realize juice world samples that sting song.
Needs one AIC riff. I feel like the Semi-Charmed life riff should be there. Also one Radiohead.
Great stuff to take us back in time !
(Sting, 4th measure is it possible it could be 10 9 ''7'' instead ?)
I'm forever fan of Nirvana and Red Hot Chill Peppers and always like your theirs tutorial
Muyy buenoo❤❤
90's were best days of my life
Looks like someone doesn’t like Alice in chains...
Lol he can't include them all. Good list nice job. Especially liked americ anfootball
Paranoid Android 😍
That riff was so satisfying to play. Learned it for the first time for this video and I was surprised how good it feels to play it 😁
Hey Nikola, what are your thoughts on Greta Van Fleet? Will you possibly do any covers of them?
with Never Meant you just won a new fan
Thanks man! Really like how both guitars sound on that riff :)
I would add symbolic
SUPERSONIC
Omg how did you get that tone with Ibanez ? Which amp
Дали би можеле да направите видео за последното соло во Scar Tissue со овој нов систем за таб? Фала 😁
Најверојатно ќе ги ре-аплоудурам старите видеа со овај тип на таб. Scar tissue сигурно ќе е едно од тие видеа

Spoonman riff ends on Open D.

What pickups are in this guitar?
Texas specials. The guitar is American Special Strat
The sting song I was like what lucid dreams
When i saw the tabs from don't cry i immediately thought they looked like house of the rising sun from a different video of yours, also sounds a bit the same
Don’t agree with come as you are but loved the video =)
Really? It's extremely memorable. It's like _the_ beginner guitar riff. Maybe the most memorable of all on this list.
Lotta drop d in the 90s

I believe you could take these riffs into Guitar Center and not get thrown out for playing them.
I was kind of trying to go in that direction with the selection. But I'm sure there are a few riffs here that are overplayed

Yeah, but scar tissue is getting a copyright claim in the first second of the upload

Some of this are "intros" and NOT riffs. Learn the definition of a riff.
Really no Megadeth? 90s was their decade.
Yeah, realized that after I finished the video
