That i5-12600KF was a steal during the prime and tech sale at $154.99. If going AMD, the 5 7500F is a tad hard to get, but is great performance at its price of ~$179.99. Plus its on AM5
Yeah the R5 7500F is a really good option. It actually beats the i5 13400f in gaming at a lower price. The problem is that it supports only ddr5 which is expensive at higher frequency.
@@denko69 7500f (Tray) vs 7600 which is better? ( I do have a budget and i think i can get the 7600, is it worth it?)
@@_ynnek if you can buy the 7600 go for it, but both will do just fine.
@@_ynnekno diff. If anything the 7600 might be better. They are the same parts. 7500F has no iGPU and slightly lower clocks that's it
@@casnub5484 sadly and somehow, 7600x is about 3$ cheaper than the 7600 (246.68$ vs 249.98$) i dont know how but it happened in one of the stores, big yikes but the 7500F is still holding at 173.21$ (Cheapest i can find) (im not gonna include the price of the shipping yet well shucks
The amount of times he said like this while building the PC😅
Solid build similar to mine, Z690 UD DDR4, 12600KF cooled by an Enermax 360MM Liqmax 3, 32 GB of Kingston Fury 3200 and a6750XT powered with a Corsair CX750M in a Lian Li Lancool 216.
Matt's Commentary is so satisfying and Calming.... !💯
Just built this PC- thanks for the help! One question…. does this MB (Aurus Elite AX DDR4) require a WiFi card, or is it good to go without one?
One thing I think could be better, do FPS avg on lowest settings as well to see max FPS in-game.
I shook a tot every time he said "like this" im plowed 🤢🤮
Yo Matt I'm a big fan and I think I have a cool idea I like watching your videos when you made game consoles into a PC. I have been seeing classic Coca-Cola mini fridges lately and am wondering if you can make it into a PC
For those of you who are looking to follow this guide and build this PC with all of the exact parts, I think there are a few things you should know;
1. The Aorus Elite B660M motherboard doesn't exist in brand new condition to my knowledge as of typing this. Amazon has no listings for it, and the two separate listings I ordered off of Newegg, both were cancelled with "out of stock" being the reasoning. In other words, if you intend to follow this guide exactly, it's virtually impossible unless you're fine with getting it used or refurbished.
2. Since the original recommended motherboard can't be obtained brand new, I changed up the build a bit to fit the motherboard I did get;
Motherboard: Aorus Elite B760M DDR5
Case: Same as recommended
CPU: Same as recommended
Graphics Card: Same as recommended
SSD: 2TB version instead of 1TB recommended (If you need that much storage, the extra TB is $20 off)
RAM: GSkill Ripjaws S5 Series DDR5 6000 (there were better options for a little bit more $ but also required more power)
PSU: 700W version instead of 600W (600 felt just enough for this build, and since I upgraded the mobo and ram and fully intend to upgrade other parts in the future, the extra 100W for $10 more felt like a no-brainer)
3. Even if the original motherboard was obtainable brand new, this is by no means a $900 build. Between the changes I made, upgrades I got, taxes and the Windows 10/11 license key, this ended up being a $1400+ build ($1200+ if you follow exactly as the video describes, and that's if you manage to find the B660M), and I would say that I got very lucky that it was only that much; I got the mech 2x version of the graphics card used in the video for nearly $200 less then just about every other listing, and some of the other parts I bought were on sale. If you're on a strict budget, this pc's overall value went up by a considerable amount.
4. The case, however awesome it looks, is not of very good quality... Case and point (no pun intended), my motherboard is currently being held by five and a half screws rather then eight because the holes the screws were supposed to go into weren't properly shaped. Matt also wasn't lying when he said it was a little frustrating to get everything plugged into the mobo when it's in the case; Spent the better part of a few hours before everything got securely locked in.
5. Once you get the PC up and running, you might find it doesn't actually display any picture. I freaked out and reset the pc a couple of times after waiting, still no picture. Apparently it's normal(?), but for me what got the picture up was running an hdmi cable through the graphics card. The display ports on both the mobo and gfx card didn't work, nor did the hdmi on the mobo. Just thought I'd give a fair warning on that, because it sure scared me lmao.
ALL OF THIS BEING SAID; My PC is up and running, it's a trillion times better then my old Dell XPS Studio 8910, I love it and it was worth the extra money and effort to get it all working. I just thought I'd point out a few things before anyone else tried it because I sure would've appreciated knowing these things beforehand; Those tight on cash and/or patience, or wanting to strictly follow the video guide to the letter may have to make some adjustments to get what they're looking for. Thanks for the video guide, Matt!
wsp matt i recently bought a pc for around 900 i have r5 5600, rx6700xt, 1tb 4.0 nvme, and 32gb ram is that a good pairing?
5600 and 6700 XT is good
yes, its a great pair, beast for 1080p, 1440p gaming
@@cribbbles thank you 🙏
@@Tomas91709 thanks!
@@cribbbles I guess I need a new monitor too lol mine is an old LG monitor it's 720P and 45htz 😂
Nah man, go get a Ryzen 5 5600 (I know, I know, it's am5) with an Arctic freezer 36, 32gb of ddr4 ram. And a Rx 6800
what would be a good alternative for the motherboard? Would the aorus b660 pro ax work just as good? Or what about the aorus B760 elite ax. I'm not familiar with the compatibility of these parts and if these alternatives would work. If you could provide some insight that would be great! Thankyou.
Were you able to buy an alternative?
@@bryanramos4413 no I ended up buying more expensive prebuilt
If I use rtx4060, can I still use all the component same as in the video?
Did a budget 12700KF and am on 12900KF for gaming etc rn. 12600KF still a decent deal though it was cheaper.
Anyone know if the 6750 xt would work on this build
the 12600kf is a beast! supports ddr5, plenty of cores, and higher boost clocks. built a computer around it not long ago for about $630.
What are the specs u use with the prices u got them for
CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme Liquid Cool Gaming Computer SLC6600SAM w/ Intel Core i7-13700F - NVIDIA RTX 4060 - 2.1GHz
Is this pc worth getting anyone
always a good day when Matt uploads a video, cheers mate
Excuse me Matt, but in your “This $1000 Prebuilt Gaming PC is EPIC! | Skytech Shiva II” your address shows on the box for a few seconds. I just thought leave this comment here to warn you about it.
I couldnt find this motherboard anywhere, whould the b760M Gaming X also work?
Take a Shot each time he says 'Like This' in the Video
Hey tech by matt ! Which meachnical keybaords layout is perfect 75% or 60% ?
Nice build, thanks
Well I’ve been a subscriber for awhile I hope all is doin well and miss your new videos and hope your having a good year so far can’t wait for you to make new vids agian
i love the gamdias talos e3!😊
:( the 12600kf was on sale for 150 bucks and i missed it
just get a kingston 1tb ssd for like 70 dollars. it has read speed up to like 7k mb/s and write of up to 6k
The case for the pc isn’t available anymore do you have any alternatives?
for $900 you can actually fit a 6800 non xt in and it will be amazing if you're only gaming
Great guide, I built a PC... like this. Got the case on sale, and it's just good enough, build quality so-so, but looks nice and is quiet. Scratched the black paint removing a stand-off with pliers. Appreciate the details on how to run the case wiring, really helpful. I guess nobody uses the extra 4-pin CPU power connector on motherboard (just the 24 +8) not 24+8+4? I see you didn't on yours, and I didn't either, my semi modular power supply had an extra 8pin, but not a 4 pin for the space next to the 8. Built mine with ASUS TUF GAMING B760M-PLUS and i5 12600K and Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Air Cooler
on sale Black Friday.
Matt whats your inside on Ryzen 5 5600g integrated graphics / editing and gaming still cool on this ?
I'm definitely going to build this but instead with a RX 6650
6:00 I hate the white color since the interior is still black
great build, makes me wanna sell my current build for 800ish and build this.
can u use wireless internet on the mother board????
When I saved enough, I will build my own pc "like this".
Any plans to do an update on the DIY NAS with the 10GbE upgrade?
Hello would using ryzen 5 7600x be still as capable for streaming, gaming and editing 1080p?
yes, its a great entry level CPU for AM5, better get the non-X version since its much cheaper and not much difference to the X variant
kind of wish you would show the fps on warzone since it is so popular
Personal rig is not updated in the description
Really interesting.
Bro this is $700
w build i am gonna do this but a little different thanks!
This was an extremely well made video! Great job
I am confused between 13600kf with 4070 or 7600 with 7800XT (bit spectacle about amd people are saying they are not stable and random shut down and random graphics pixel stutter happened any idea)? My priority is Its my main pc for client work and gaming so it's need to be stable and no crash or blue screen problems. Budget is 1200USD. Any better suggestion?
How about r5 7600 and rtx 4070?
@@jamelpiclit3062 Good but I will only choose Intel for reliably.
great buid u just gained a subscriber
Good build but i would go for cheaper mobo
Ugly Case 😔
i like this 🤙
How tf you get 92 on cyberpunk
🤣🤣
King is back!
I like your build guides because they are so detailed in step by step building, especially when it comes to dealing with cable management and getting the case fans properly configured. I was thinking of making this into a more budget build. You did a $1000 build like this about a year ago, this seems to be a slight upgrade for less money due to dropping prices. I wanted to turn your last build into a budget build. And install a B550 and Ryzen 4500 with a used 1080 Ti. I could have pulled it off for around $500, however, I cannot find that case you used in stock anymore. In fact, everything seems to be outta stock right now. Not sure what's going on.
For those who planning to build intel KF/K version in future. I strongly suggest getting aio liquid cooler. Those CPU has higher stock TDP over 1.2volt. When u gaming(depends on game) your temp will be at range 69-71++ with air cooler and it will trigger intel safe temp and limit cpu performance. But those temp still fine👍
1.2v only?? My amd fx is laughing (not really tho i doubt it can take much more of my torture)
