I could tell that each question you really took time to think and give the "BEST"answer from your heart and love for each of them. Take care and God Bless you & your family always! B Beck
As a Parent I can tell right away Michael is a GREAT father and did a wonderful job raising these girls. In a society where family seems to be more and more less of a priority I think that is an AMAZNG accomplishment! Bravo! 👍
My dad went into bankruptcy we had no money- they were taking away the house and his business and almost the vehicles and my mom never left my dads side even tho my dad the man didn’t have money to support the wife and kids- my mom helped my dad and my dad got outta the situation got into a different business and made money from that business and together they have been married almost 40 years. Money is not everything- there is no I in team. Sometimes the man can support and sometimes doesn’t work out like that but what matters is the man and wife love each other and respect each other with their kids and not give up on each other. I love how the youngest daughter talk- very smart and beautiful girl.
Your daughters are all amazing. The fact that they want to sit there and be there with you on camera shows how much they love you and how successful of a father you are.
Doesn't matter what a man has done in his past, when you can raise your family, provide food, a roof, and act with respect and get respect from your family. you have done a great job, in life,. Much respect from the uk
Any man should feel this way. My woman can work or stay at home it’s up to her but I gotta work. She pulls more than her weight at home, the least I can do is bring the money in
Michael is correct in that the man is always and forever subject to the burden of performance. Women are free to pick up a lot, a little, or none at all, but a man does NOT have this option. Like Chris Rock said, only children and dogs are loved unconditionally.
*100% these so called men now days are sooo wongly raised. I'm a a god in an old soul. Now days everyone thinks robbing, smoking, drinking, being disrespectful is cool and shit. And that's why this generations succkkkss*
“If you had to support the guy, what do you need him for?” This is right. You can’t gravitate towards a man that is incapable of being a provider. A woman cannot respect lack of competence, skills, and capabilities. Resentment will almost always develop. Not saying you can’t have a rough patch. But you have to be able to “handle business.”
@@courtneybrubaker9738no, it’s ok to be vulnerable but it’s NOT ok to stay vulnerable. Men have a traditional role to fill as a protector and to appear strong even if they’re not. We must work to be strong to provide a safe space for our wives and children.
100% on Michael’s take on men being men!👍🏼 My Sicilian dad, a man’s man and while I was a career girl who did it on my own with never ending emotional support from my dad I knew he would always be my safety net. Ladies you are incredibly fortunate to have this wonderful man as your dad.
I remember when my ex girlfriend told me that she was angry to see that when I was in trouble, I did not show up emotions like I'm panicking. Next time, I will just say that I'm old school.
This is a great inside look into the actual family of a made man. Love the idea of this and hearing a kid’s perspective who didn’t go into the business.
Bottom line, Michael is a phenomenal business man and brilliant, and no matter what path he had chosen he would have been at the top of that profession.
I completely agree that a man has to be self sufficient and provide but i am 60 and old school too but the school back then was so much better than today.

Not Pesci, well ok Pesci in the irishman in that case. In casino and goodfellas he plays a hotheaded psychopath which Michael seems to be the opposite of.
Michael is an illustration of a man who, with the right motive, has greatly benefitted in a determinedly positive sense from his own life experience, regardless of how others may choose to view a certain part of that life.
But Annette, some of us just don't want to focus on money!! I wanted to go to the military....unfortunately, the military in my country collapsed and my dreams died!! I just can't focus and care about money!! Money can never hug you at night or care about you!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this conversation. My dad passed in 2015, Michael reminds me of him and his old school morals of how a gentleman should look after his partner. The girls banter was really funny too 😂 What a gorgeous family, sending love to you all from Ireland 💚
Michael, I am 61 and have three beautiful daughters myself. Kids bring such joy and its great that you can talk with your girls about things you did. You have a beautiful family and God has truly blessed you. You are a great example of Gods ability to help us all. Keep up all the hard work for our Savior.
Brilliant! You took a life of the Mafia, and turned it into a marketing tool, to a life of selling pizza and starting a franchise. Absolutely brilliant!!! 😊
I really enjoyed this. Your daughters are not only beautiful but they are strong intelligent fearless women. They’re love and respect for you are evident. You babygirl is young and she’ll learn that daddy was right. Train a child in the way they should go, goes a long way. Without a doubt your wife and yourself have done an amazing job raising them. God Bless you all!!!
I agree with you Michael. Men: Provide, protect, and lead Women: Nurture and keep things together Edit: Will you please do a review of ‘Gangs of New York?’ That movie was intense!
I think its more of a guideline hardwired in our dna. Its not necessary to FORCE anyone into or FORCE anyone not to do it because some insecure intellectual doesnt like it. But if you leave people to their own devices they will naturally gravitate to these roles most of the time. There will obviously be exceptions. But thats what they are. Exceptions confirming the rule.
There is also the idea that men can't show weakness. In Cosa Nostra you probably were taught to never show weakness or others would take advantage of you.
I think some of his “men must provide theory “ came about because he was away all those years and he couldn’t provide, and now is overprotective of his daughters, and they brought it up a number of times. You work as a team in marriage, not one provider and one is looked after. I supported my wife fully when she went to med school, and she supported me fully when I was temporarily incapacitated from a motor vehicle accident. Things happen in life, and we took vows to support each other, not me on some pedestal like the 60’s
Wasn't it so terrible when in the 1960s men collectively began forcing women to work? It definitely wasn't a huge movement championed by and for women...
This was a treat to watch. I've seen this man do sit downs with alot of ppl and he has never seemed uncomfortable till this one. Also I have hope after seeing this. Mike is very chill conservative guy, i appreciate the way he exposes the way of thinking as old school as it may be, but he is always nice and respectful.
I agree with Michael 100% in this. A man should be able to provide for a woman and his children. Key word “able” to. Women have to bear children. That’s a full time job itself.
A man in the relationship is responsable to lead the family toward the right path. Financial stability or for the man to be a go getter comes with the package. A man to just sit around and do nothing shows no interest in the success of the family. Great sit down guys!!

Mr Franzese has a refreshing, cleared-eyed view of masculinity and relationships. We need to hear more of this. God bless. Time for me to grab a slice.
This was really heart warming. I love seeing stuff like this. You have a beautiful family. I’ve had a bit of problems with violence in my past and have made the mistake of resorting to violence rather than using wisdom to better myself. Seeing you sitting down with your family, at peace warms my heart. I envy you. I have a strong relationship with my Dad. I’m his only son and the youngest and my old man always taught me to be strong. No pain, no gain. Men shouldn’t be spoiled. If it hurts, get used to it. If you’re tired then get over it. That’s just the way it has to be. The man protects the women. The man protects his family. You have to do what you have to do.

Michael is such a stud, to let his daughters go on there unscripted is a great sign of trust, even if they have tough questions.
Hi Michael, this was a great show with your three daughters. I enjoyed the questions they had for you and you answers for them.
Bravo! 👍
Yes Amazing, 2 out of 3 expect a man to provide for them. Welcome to the 50s baby.
Gorgeous daughters, blessed family. Keep up the progress Mike.
amazing genes
Having a good dad on whom you can depend is a blessing. Ask any orphan what they would do to get a dad like yours
I’m soo old school that I agree 100% on Michael Franzese thoughts on a how a man should be
Any man should feel this way. My woman can work or stay at home it’s up to her but I gotta work. She pulls more than her weight at home, the least I can do is bring the money in
@@lt.finglefubledingler1972 most definitely
Michael is correct in that the man is always and forever subject to the burden of performance. Women are free to pick up a lot, a little, or none at all, but a man does NOT have this option. Like Chris Rock said, only children and dogs are loved unconditionally.
*100% these so called men now days are sooo wongly raised. I'm a a god in an old soul. Now days everyone thinks robbing, smoking, drinking, being disrespectful is cool and shit. And that's why this generations succkkkss*

What a gentleman
, great father with such integrity. They’ll never know how good they have it until their kids are grown. These girls are blessed.
Truly a gentleman! What man doesn’t want the best for there daughter.
I love that the girls feel comfortable to ask you such questions in a public arena and not to be scared. Good job at unconditional love Dad!
Exactly
Why does a man need to provide for a woman ???????
@@0Shane13 he doesn't need too if he doesn't want too.... remember it's all a choice 😎 but a man will take care of a woman he loves 🔥

Men and women are different when it comes to aspects of vulnerability.

My Sicilian dad, a man’s man and while I was a career girl who did it on my own with never ending emotional support from my dad I knew he would always be my safety net.

You can tell Michael still has those mobster traits in him. 😎
You can take the man out the streets but you can’t take the streets out the man...life lesson
Those traits can make a person successful outside of crime. He’d probably make a better corporate executive than most of the ones I’ve worked with.
It is also a Biblical principal for a man to support His wife. Gods order for things.
@@jodykidp5396 right, the man head of the household. He earns tha money

My Grandad did...and wasn’t one. Well, he was in his own way!

Julia is so loving its ridiculous. I love them challenging their Dad and him challenging them back. This is such a phenomenal conversation 👏
23:53 “they’re not supposed to show you that” something I perfectly agree with and will 100% say to my daughters
Yes!
This is a great inside look into the actual family of a made man. Love the idea of this and hearing a kid’s perspective who didn’t go into the business.
Bottom line, Michael is a phenomenal business man and brilliant, and no matter what path he had chosen he would have been at the top of that profession.
Michael is so classy and has great daughters. Such a gentlemen and the real deal.
My wife “used to” take care of me when I was sick. After seeing this, your right Mr. franzese. I’m divorcing her right away. Thanks for the advice.
I completely agree that a man has to be self sufficient and provide but i am 60 and old school too but the school back then was so much better than today.

Michael Franzese is like guy portrated by Pesci or Deniro but in real life, Respect
Not Pesci, well ok Pesci in the irishman in that case. In casino and goodfellas he plays a hotheaded psychopath which Michael seems to be the opposite of.
Yea Michael was a top tier mafioso business man so definitely not Pesci

Brilliant! You took a life of the Mafia, and turned it into a marketing tool, to a life of selling pizza and starting a franchise. Absolutely brilliant!!! 😊
This guy is a good story teller, journalist ,communicator , interviewer etc. Definitely made to be in media.
Men: Provide, protect, and lead
Women: Nurture and keep things together
Edit: Will you please do a review of ‘Gangs of New York?’ That movie was intense!
Yes....and when both put it together. That's what normally makes excellent children!!
And now I will cry, because it was real. Thank you Mr. Franzese!
The Honesty and Transparency of Michael and his daughters ❤ is beautiful
This was a treat to watch. I've seen this man do sit downs with alot of ppl and he has never seemed uncomfortable till this one. Also I have hope after seeing this. @Terry D'Giglio That is so true! First time I've seen him uncomfortable! Children do that to you. 😊❤
Best part about this was how honest it felt, rather than 95% of other channels on youtube with artificial pre-planned questions.
Mike is very chill conservative guy, i appreciate the way he exposes the way of thinking as old school as it may be, but he is always nice and respectful.
What a great beautiful family.
I can't believe how well spoken. You are very lucky Michael. Great show!
My wife brought home chicken soup, I slapped it right out her hand. Thanks Mr. Franzese! 😁

Loved this. I relate 100% with your beliefs in a man's role in a marriage. Your daughters are well adjusted & will remember what you say. I only wish I could've found a strong but good man like you. Wonderful family & every right to be proud! ❤
