I love how the Italians from that era essentially ran there own banking system. Their credit scores were their reputations and if they were a good creditor/debtor, that’s a great lesson to community and keeping your word.
"If I put a bullet in your head and your head falls on that pastrami sandwich will you remember it that way?" That is the most gangster sentence ever spoken.
I love the idea of hearing the parallel between the two Lives, Mafia and Entertainment. I spent the greater part of my life as an Entertainer and it's as devious as a Snake with arthritis.
I loved chazz in the bronz tale when the bikers came into the bar they could of had a quiet drink then left chezz was polite to them now yous can't leave brilliant ya don't fuck around with the wise guys
When the Kray brothers used to shylock they used to write it down in a little Black book. So when they lent someone money they would write there name and the amount and they used to make who ever they lent money to make them sign there name next to the amount owed so when they started saying i don't owe you that amount of money they had it wrote down. in there little little black book.
i wonder if he puts toxic waste in his wine like he did in his gasoline. he never talks about that but it's well reported that the mafia disposed of toxic waste in his gasoline to avoid paying for its disposal
His Michael hi chaz only came across yous guys but have known who yous are, chaz a bronx tale is a master piece I watch it all the time so educational, then watching you guys together I can't get anuff of yous guys it so great the podcast I don't think I've listened to a podcast as much keep up the good work you guys are killing it
Awesome stories!!! I remember hearing Norby Walter’s name in a Hip Hop track from Eric B and Rakim’s Paid In Full. He mentioned Norby as their agent along with Carol Lewis. Salute gentlemen!!!
Still waiting for a movie about Michael. Mr. Palminteri should write the script. The title "Sound of the Crickets". Lead actor, Keanu Reeves. Please do this.
Y'all should talk about Rio Rancho, NM AKA Rio RatHole. Lots of mafia rats ended up there. Everytime I met someone living there that was Italian I knew to stay away from them. The 80's and 90's saw a bunch of Italian restaurants in town.
Hi! Chazz and Michael are gifted storytellers; I chuckled a lot. When I was 18, I was a nerd: I wanted good grades, great skin and a cute boyfriend. Lol 😅
Nothin wrong with that. Take pride u didn't fall into any kind of drugs or crime or anything like that. Being a nerd is often a peaceful lifestyle choice so GOOD FOR YOU 🙂
Think about this for a minute. Remember how u was at 18? My grandfather stabbed a man 7 times with a hunting knife and went to prison for some years and he was 18 when he went in.......... At least that wasn't your life. No the man did not die AMAZINGLY. But my grandfather had a rough life. It made him mean and vicious as a young man. Talk about all the tough talk guys do these days HE was the real deal. But he also had a rough life because of that. He changed later in life but he hurt allot of ppl when he was a young man. So being a nerd and all that is GREAT on comparison......
@@coreyhall1150that’s crazy because my grandpa shot and killed a man in a bar when he was 19. Back then he only served 4 years and got parole. The last time I spoke with him (we’re not very close unfortunately) he was getting sick and obviously his time is limited. I asked him if he regrets anything. He said “I wish I would have went home and stayed home.” Because he walked home to get the gun, came back and killed the guy. Then he said “I wish I didn’t kill that guy”

It would cool if Michael would do a episode on freemasonry and relation to mob etc and maybe inform us on some high powered people or famous folks he knows that are masons.. I’m a mason and I find this would be very interesting.
Ive been a mob fanatic for 25 years, but ive only heard the odd comment on youtube comments about the free masons involved with the mafia. Never heard it from any mob guys or historians etc. Were does that come from?
Borrowed 1050...1250...from my parents 2 months bills... having a hard time finding a civilian job still working ai army at night have not received paychecks

My favorite guys on YT. They always have depth and knowledge on many topics young people don’t get to hear these days
Two of my favorite people telling fascinating stories.
"If I put a bullet in your head and your head falls on that pastrami sandwich will you remember it that way?"
That is the most gangster sentence ever spoken.

Thank You for all of thee Italian chix(sf)
Great episode! WOW
Out of curiosity. Does the term shylocking, come from the character from the merchant of Venice?
Chaz putting that younger picture of him at the beginning laugh out loud he's an old man now😮
Great stories 👍
Thrilled to know that you enjoyed this episode.

Real Gs, you remind me of my Father.
Wait Michael does a podcast with this guy? What a world a mobster and big time actor doing podcasts together.
Legendary
Michael never ratted on anyone but testified against Norby Walters and sent him to the can. Makes sense
Michael and Chaz teamed up.
As real as it gets...👍
I think “Sonny” is “Carmine Galante”. Chazz slipped the name Carmine.
Was he a famous mob guy ?
This was a fantastic episode! You guys are absolutely compelling, inspiring, and funny! Love you both! Thanks! 🥰🤗🥰
We're happy that you like it.
Never thought I would see wise guys doing podcast made men

Wow. Incredible mob stories. I could listen or these all day.
Michael, don't wear that jacket. It looks like it's a jacket that says fbi or Dea on the back😂
This is like watchin a movie

crazy that franzese is older than palminteri. Thought chazz was in his late 70s and early 80s because he looked old in a bronx tale
Why so many edits I’ve noticed 4 already & it’s only 1:33 into the podcast…😑😑😑
Michael is very real. So refreshing. ♥️♥️♥️
you think so? he's a con man and he's slick with this words. trust me.
We appreciate it.
You guys need matching shirts that say "He's dead now..."
If it was a beating, it's a beating!!!

Is it true Michael s father thought lucky Luciano was set up?
