I only have two HDMI ports on my tv. One is dedicated to my soundbar (HMI ARC). I have no idea why I didn't think of getting a splitter until I saw this video.
I can confirm the white pixel artefacts randomly appearing on the picture that Joanna Gibbons reports (these are white pixels randomly appearing - and sound cuts out with ARC), so I replaced the HDMI cable (tried at leats 5 or 6 different), result: no 4K HDR@60Hz (4k@60Hz 4:2:0 is fine though, but not HDR (RGB or 4:4:4). I bought this product based on YOUR recommendation that it would work, and on my Samsung 65KU6290 and only one UHD HDR hdmi, I can't get 4k HDR 60Hz.

by the way if you have a capture card it will work set the capture card in the outport put on the hdmi switcher coming from your capture card the hdmi in port of your capture card like avermedia or elgato goes to the out port of the hdmi switcher your input ports will just be your ps4 xbox one or nintendo swithc or xbox 360 or ps3 and mini consoles you have

It is possible to use the Switch in a sound bar, because all my devices are conectes there and i need more hdmi for my news video game console. I will get a PS5 or Xbox S/X soon.

Hmm interesting, what i really need is a very long hdmi cable that supports 4k @ 60hz and compatible with HDR. my PC is in another room and would love to use my 4k TV with it for gaming, dont have option to move it to the same room so only option is a long cable

I have bought a 4k hdmi splitter last year in August.. I had my cable box, Xbox One S, ps4, and ps3.. It was working fine until I rearrange living room connected everything back.. Now I don't get sound from cable box.. Can u suggest something I can do to get sound back.. Maybe I just need to buy a new 4k hdmi splitter
You could try if pip feature is available with this? Because if tv think that all is in hdmi 1, i suppouse that pip feature doesn’t work

I got a Elgato HD60s which knocked down my video output to 1080p and I didn't buy a 4k tv to play in 1080p. So I heard this is a great solution for my problem. Do you know if I'll still be able to game in 1440p 120hz? Thank you.
no as long as your using the Elgato HD60 you will never have a output in 4k. what you need is a elgato 4K60 Pro or a AverMedia Live Gamer 4K60 HDR which is very cheap then the 4K60 Pro. also this is a switcher so if your gaming on a Tv & monitor you need a 4K60 splitter a switch only lets you connect 4k devices to one box. a splitter lets you take 1 input and output it to 2 devices. here are what the the AverMedia looks like when gaming ill give you

Got mine yesterday, didn't work, nothing actually, didn't event get a signal. Could be that my is broken, i will have to pay allot to send back do Amazon (i live in Brazil). Tried with PS4 Pro and Xbox One X, nothing in both consoles.
alexseph I have tried 2 of these splitters without any problems, make sure your connections are good and your uhd colors are turned on.

If you want to use 2 monitors on your PC you will need to use Display port instead, and change the Nvidia settings.

Yes but you will need to switch ports with the remote.

It's for thin Samsung tvs that doesn't have ports on tv. So it's an external deal.

this is a switch. not a splitter. there is a big difference that will screw a lot of people up if you call it a splitter.
