@Saimon Sevcik That’s European Otis elevators though. Otis elevators here in the states aren’t as bad (at least I don’t think they’re as bad). The case of this elevator is lack of maintenance and the deferred contacting of Otis or whoever maintains the elevator.
@@saimonsevcik Idk what you mean, but Gen2s are Otis's traction model, and traction elevators can't get low on oil because they don't run on hydraulics. Also, elevators that are low on oil are caused by either poor maintenance or a bad oil line. Both fall under whoever the building owner/management chooses to maintain the elevator, which is not always who installs the elevator.
Hey, Im not American, in Europe the elevator is usually maintained by the company that installed it or some generic elevator company, not a manager or anyone else, if that elevator was installed in Europe, it would be maintained by otis
hEy YoU sToLe My IdEa!
I was expecting this to get worse than the one I saw get low on oil. This one gave a good show though.
Poor elevator, I'm surprised the motor didn't burn out. Glad they fixed it in the end 👌

Wow I am completely shocked that the pump didn’t wear out.
Flashbacks to Jason’s video of a really bad series 5
Ironically, this is a Series 5!
I’m surprised it’s still stopping level. Although if you notice it, reporting it stops someone getting stuck.
Glad they fixed it
It does mean less content though but hey that’s fine..
These can get worse over time. This is WHY MAINTENANCE IS IMPORTANT.
All modern elevators should have low oil switches too.
That thing must have been leaking oil bad! Nice motor though.
Bet the bucket to catch excess oil from the seal must’ve been overflowing (the one at the bottom of the pit)
@QE Elevators Oh I’m sure.
Almost 3 weeks geez
Use the emergency phone to report the issue so they can dispatch a technician to have the elevator serviced.
ruclips.net/video/oeDvciIB02Q/видео.html from around 5:50 in that video. That particular elevator had low oil on absurd levels.
Thag is the first time I've ever seen a non North American elevator low on oil like that
My high school elevator's oil tank is leaking.
on day 5 it sonuds like it is skraping on the wall
My god, thing sounds like it was about to shake out of its shell.
DAMN. That’s a whole new level of bad lol
I REMEBER NATIONAL ELEVATOR FILMED IT. I wonder why he deleted it
3 weeks man
All this time watching this, at 1:48 you can see the F-Word written in the corner…
Damn, otis is going lower and lower on quality ... cough cough hydrofit

@@baelevatorsmore728 Not really, that elevator is American type on gen2
@@saimonsevcik The one in the video is yeah. It’s not that bad a quality though. Just lacks some maintenance
