I don't watch movies. So, I watched this clip with Rebecca Ferguson only after having watched Loren Allred singing the song on Britain's Got Talent. It is so good to see real people, doing real singing, on a real stage, in front of real people, in real time. Thank you Loren Allred for revealing yourself. Rebecca’s character w/ “Alfred” but he is totally mesmerized with “HER VOICE!” His wife, sitting off to the side,is staring at the two of them, all of a sudden aware that her husband is spellbound by the sheer magic in Rebecca’s character’s voice! The sheer emotions between these two characters, had caught his wife by surprise, you can see & she can not look away from the intensity of those emotions, exploding with every second, Rebecca’s voice fills this theatre with her beautiful voice! She is clearly worried, not knowing exactly what has captivated her husband but she can see & feel it herself in her husband that she loves so very much!This is such a heart stopping moment, watching his wife’s sudden apprehension, over this new “European sensation”, who curiously has cast a “ magic spell” as Jenny Lind’s voice , fills this theatre with her beautiful voice! You can see she is clearly afraid, wondering if her husband has awe or some kind of newfound “love”( it is not “love”but of course his wife has no way of knowing that & clearly apprehensive)for Jenny Lind. This is another extraordinary moment( this amazing movie is full of them!) in this film! Wish it had win an Oscar & actors all had won awards( especially Rebecca & Hugh!)!

Technically, it's not Rebecca Ferguson's (actress portraying Jenny Lind) voice we are hearing - it's Loren Allred's voice, however Rebecca did actually sing the song while filming. She knew her voice wasn't going to be used, but she wanted to sing for authenticity of the moment - that lip syncing couldn't give her.
It isn't your typical lip sync... They actually filmed Rebecca singing the song.....but then removed her voice and had lauren sing to mimic Rebecca's movements and dubbed it in...
Her beauty and performance is truly mesmerizing. I bought the movie from iTunes and the only thing I watch is that portion when she is performing this over and over. No one else can do justice to this role. She is remarkable.
Listening to this song being sung & the incredible acting skills by both Rebecca( pretending to sing this) & Hugh is “NEVER ENOUGH FOR ME”, either! The way Rebecca slips a “look” at Hugh’s character in the beginning of this song ( her eyes look at him with such “meaning & love”), as slowly an incredible awe comes across Hugh as he listens to her sing, his eyes filling with tears of awe! The very end of the song, when the character Jenny, looks about the audience for the standing ovation & she surveys it carefully, turning & locking eyes with Barnum( Hugh) for mere seconds, the love she has for him, just bursts from her very being! He is flabbergasted & overwhelmed with thousands of emotions overwhelming him as they stare in awe of one another. Meanwhile his “wife “, standing to the side has been watching this exchange between the two of them develop & you can see a real fear of loosing him briefly cross her face! What acting on all three of these main character’s part! How they did not win best actors & best movie ( even this song should have been nominated, although I understand the other song in this movie won award for best song but wish these deserving actors all had won in their respective category. Zendaya & Zac’s acting in this sequence was extraordinary too but I will never forget this particular part in the movie! Absolutely incredible acting & singing! Love this movie!❤️
I don't really care for musicals. I go to musical plays because my wife likes them and I Love her. I rented this movie for her and watched it with her. Transformative is the best way to describe what this movie has done to me. I feel like I have been introduced to a new form of art, where perfect script, perfect score, perfect directing, perfect acting and perfect musical performance has combined to produce something that feels like it comes from the hand of God. Simply sublime and I want more of this. If that is even possible.
Very few numbers get me in the feelers, but this one did it. The overdub vocals were superb and the acting spot on! It got to me and it is both hard to do and hard for me to admit. Simply spectacular song!

The reason I love this song is it calls to the infinite nature of the heart. Nothing will ever be enough for me because my story continues everyday. Listen with noise cancelling headphones. Amazing! Am I the only who thinks she looks a little sneaky when she says “you set off a dream IN ME” and looks over at Barnum. It’s almost like she was ready to steal his heart at that moment. Such a powerful scene. So much going on. The handholding between Zendaya and Zac - then letting go when the parents noticed. The facial expressions on Hugh. Barnums wife noticing.... And last but not least the way the sound technicians made it sound like she was further away when the focus was on the back of the room (the handholding scene). Great sound editing! Probably no one's commented this - but what makes this piece is excellent editing and nonverbal acting too, cutting between the look of 'I can't believe it' stunned infatuated awe on PT Barnum/Hugh Jackman's face (obv excellent acting there too) and the facial expression of pained realisation, jealousy and understated sadness from Mrs Barnum/ Michelle Williams'. And then the side plot with Zendaya and Zac, likewise full of incredible camera close up shots, lighting, edits that tell a whole story without a single word being spoken. This scene is just - amazingly crafted :)

Rebecca’s character w/ “Alfred” but he is totally mesmerized with “HER VOICE!” His wife, sitting off to the side,is staring at the two of them, all of a sudden aware that her husband is spellbound by the sheer magic in Rebecca’s character’s voice! The sheer emotions between these two characters, had caught his wife by surprise, you can see & she can not look away from the intensity of those emotions, exploding with every second, Rebecca’s voice fills this theatre with her beautiful voice! She is clearly worried, not knowing exactly what has captivated her husband but she can see & feel it herself in her husband that she loves so very much!This is such a heart stopping moment, watching his wife’s sudden apprehension, over this new “European sensation”, who curiously has cast a “ magic spell” as Jenny Lind’s voice , fills this theatre with her beautiful voice! You can see she is clearly afraid, wondering if her husband has awe or some kind of newfound “love”( it is not “love”but of course his wife has no way of knowing that & clearly apprehensive)for Jenny Lind. This is another extraordinary moment( this amazing movie is full of them!) in this film! Wish it had win an Oscar & actors all had won awards( especially Rebecca & Hugh!)!

Technically, it's not Rebecca Ferguson's (actress portraying Jenny Lind) voice we are hearing - it's Loren Allred's voice, however Rebecca did actually sing the song while filming. She knew her voice wasn't going to be used, but she wanted to sing for authenticity of the moment - that lip syncing couldn't give her.
Don't be stupid. everyone knows it wasn't her voice. That's not uncommon. Rebecca Ferguson is an actress, not a singer.

Listening to this song being sung & the incredible acting skills by both Rebecca( pretending to sing this) & Hugh is “NEVER ENOUGH FOR ME”, either! The way Rebecca slips a “look” at Hugh’s character in the beginning of this song ( her eyes look at him with such “meaning & love”), as slowly an incredible awe comes across Hugh as he listens to her sing, his eyes filling with tears of awe! The very end of the song, when the character Jenny, looks about the audience for the standing ovation & she surveys it carefully, turning & locking eyes with Barnum( Hugh) for mere seconds, the love she has for him, just bursts from her very being! He is flabbergasted & overwhelmed with thousands of emotions overwhelming him as they stare in awe of one another. Meanwhile his “wife “, standing to the side has been watching this exchange between the two of them develop & you can see a real fear of loosing him briefly cross her face! What acting on all three of these main character’s part! How they did not win best actors & best movie ( even this song should have been nominated, although I understand the other song in this movie won award for best song but wish these deserving actors all had won in their respective category. Zendaya & Zac’s acting in this sequence was extraordinary too but I will never forget this particular part in the movie! Absolutely incredible acting & singing! Love this movie!❤️

I don't really care for musicals. I go to musical plays because my wife likes them and I Love her. I rented this movie for her and watched it with her. Transformative is the best way to describe what this movie has done to me. I feel like I have been introduced to a new form of art, where perfect script, perfect score, perfect directing, perfect acting and perfect musical performance has combined to produce something that feels like it comes from the hand of God. Simply sublime and I want more of this. If that is even possible.

Such a powerful scene. So much going on. The handholding between Zendaya and Zac - then letting go when the parents noticed. The facial expressions on Hugh. Barnums wife noticing....
And last but not least the way the sound technicians made it sound like she was further away when the focus was on the back of the room (the handholding scene). Great sound editing!

Philautua love - with myself; I had learn to love myself from very young tiny tot for mom gave me to my dad's only sister to raise in our house at 2 months old, and never had the chance to know her as a mother, her warm motherly love was focused on my 3 siblings till her death. So I have learnt to have self love to keep my sanity all these years;
(8). Agape love - for my dad who though had flaws but I dearly respected for he was my mentor. He taught me the Essence of Music in our family from Pre-History of Creation till today thus though he was a dentist he took Music also that made him the Choir Conductor of Fiji School of Medicine in 1953-1959. He taught me that the cure to Broken-Heart is both Hymnals & Secular love songs, just like Anti-Venom is the cure to the Snake's Lethal snake bite. I was devastated when he died after getting sick while a Dentist with the Royal Fiji Military Forces to Lebanon in 1978 2nd Lift & 1987, for we had applied for Israel University Studies for Physics, Hebrew Language & Culture due to our Israeli Heritage part and to do Archaeological Digs Studies to enable me to verify our Kingdom of the East Heritage in the Pacific Oceans Continents and islands in conjunction with the Israeli part of our family. This is my HOPE AND SHOULD BE THE HOPE OF ALL HEARTBREAKS, IF WE DON'T HAVE IT HERE, IN THE NEW EARTH WE WILL HAVE A GOD CHOSEN ONE TO LAST FOR ETERNITY WHERE SHE OR HE WLL NEVER BREAK OUR HEART AGAN.

Now our life is more meaningful for at last we know who was that voice in the movie and my goodness Her Grace & Vocals is really hypnotic and appealing to blend perfectly with her therapeutic Vocals which is the Ant-Venom and Ant-Dote to all 8 BROKENHEARTs. Probably no one's commented this - but what makes this piece is excellent editing and nonverbal acting too, cutting between the look of 'I can't believe it' stunned infatuated awe on PT Barnum/Hugh Jackman's face (obv excellent acting there too) and the facial expression of pained realisation, jealousy and understated sadness from Mrs Barnum/ Michelle Williams'. And then the side plot with Zendaya and Zac, likewise full of incredible camera close up shots, lighting, edits that tell a whole story without a single word being spoken.
