Oh WOW! I have grand respect for chefs such as you because you can prepare food items for any culture around the world. I loves this flat bread so much! ❤❤❤❤❤You make me super hungry 😂 it looked so soft and tasty 🫶
Thank you chef, I have just done this recipe and its a wow! I am in Southern Africa and its my first time to do chapati! My toddler is calling it a pie
Yaani your chapo recepees are usually the best,i discovered your channel back then by searching how to make soft layered delicious Chapati and been hooked
I wish I could give you a hug! You have no idea how much you transformed my life! Thank you so much! I'm gonna start cooking soon on RUclips and I will be "re-doing " your foods!! Nway, thanks so.much chef! You're the best!
Looks delicious and just like the ones I enjoyed in Kenya! I want to make a big batch for a lunch for my friends - would they taste okay if I made them one day before and heated them back up for the lunch?
I watched your other one long ago, and THEY KNOW I am the best chapati maker. My dad confirms it’s as good as back in Congo DRC and Tanzania too 😂 thank you Chef! I make double Of this video because I have a Pro body builder twin brother and 4 other siblings, and they they eat copiously 😂
Chapati is urdu word, we also call it roti. We eat this here everyday. We normally use simple dough with any ingredients...but if someone wants to add sugar or salt it depends on the mood or situation
Dear Chef Wainaaina, can you please give us your measurements in the form of the measuring cups please for the 2.27 kgs, if you don't mind, though?. Thanks in advance.
Thanks so much for watching. I used a dough mixer for this recipe, and it did most of the work until the dough was ready to roll. If you are kneading the dough with your hands , you will definitely go through the sticky stage but no worries, just keep working the dough and using extra flour if need be. Hope this helped. I'm looking forward to your delicious chapati.

No worries, just use your hands to knead the dough.
Wow yummy. But it has been a while have not been receiving notifications for your new video's
Thanks for watching.
Anyone have an idea why chef's dough was not sticky, at any point, or how to avoid sticky dough at the initial kneading stage?
