Tried everything and doesn't work. The problem is that my game capture having a black screen and it has the hidden game capture but it has one line going up while the video in the hidden game capture has two lines facing south and east.

One of the best OBS video's I've seen, I have had the black screen for about a week now and this really helped. Only problem I have with this is the fullscreen application setting. Only thing that generally worked was the capture specific window.

I was never able to use game capture but now I can't even use window capture. It just says "select a window for capture" when I have multiple windows open

these goofy style edits were the thing that kept me hooked. usually, after searching for a bazillion tutorials, they dont work. the edits made this experience better
@@Zortec didnt fix, but i ended up using display capture. when i have these tech issues, i sometimes get really irritated. those edits we're the thing that kept me watching XD

Well you could do that on OBS. By adding your Screen and then adding your Facecam (by adding a Video Capture Source and assign it to your webcam/camera on it)
maybe its just the other youtuber you watch are hell quiet or your audio device is very amplified. The audio loudness level of this video is at 17Lufs which is still below youtube required loudness. unfortunately most youtubers dont know much about loudness stabilization and fall well below the the audio levels of youtube. Their are headphones and audio device that dont have much gain so i aim close for youtube loudness standards so it can be hearable for everyone.

Thanks for the video. I have a question, the instructions for recording Minecraft on OBS have file paths for 1.17 and 1.18, but not any version past that. What would I use to record later versions? I've tried the file paths with alpha, beta, and gamma, but none of them have worked.
Try this 1. Go to "%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.4297127D64EC6_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Local untime\" 2. Type "javaw.exe" on the search box 3. Hopefully that locates it and you can check its actual file location via Properties (right clicking on it) and then you proceed as normal for minecraft obs black screen fix Let me know how it goes :)
I play and record roblox and it works with window capture but It doesn't work with game capture, it used to work before but it suddenly doesn't pick up with game capture. I've done everything.
Seems like a recent thing that Roblox is getting a black screen. It might be due to something added on the game's code which is not allowing it to be recorded in Game Capture anymore.
@@thelowkeyspy As i stated in the video. If GAME Capture doesn't work for your games. Then the next option is Window Capture. This applies to Roblox also.

@@Zortec No, when I opened up the properties it had the correct display, but when I tried to record or stream it was black. It was exactly what was going on in the 6th solution, it's fixed now

Thanks for the vid. I tried recording a zoom video as an MP4 and when I got play it I find the audio is working and in tact but it shows a black screen throughout. I was able to add OBS64.exe as you described in the first portion of your video however that has not fixed the issue of viewing the video. Any idea as to what I've done wrong on whether or not I am able to restore the video to go with the existing audio on the mp4 files?
Hello Tony. Thanks for your comment. First of all this video was designed to be followed sequentially. If the first fix doesn't work go to the 2nd fix, if that doesn't work then go on the 3rd fix and so on. From the looks of it, I assume you used Window Capture on Zoom.exe?? If not try using that see if that shows anything. Otherwise you can try using Display Capture and Can Crop it so it only shows people and their camera in the meeting. Let me know if this helps and what you are trying to aim for? :)

whenever I tried to use OBS game capture for fortnite, it was always a black screen, but I found that going to Game Capture properties and enabling "Use anti-cheat compatibility hook" fixed it. and i dont think it's mentioned in this video
Thanks for mentioning this. By default Use anti-cheat compatability hook is already turned on any new obs setup. It seems you may have accidentally anticked it. I think maybe i should clarify this point next time i do new video on it :) Thank you

Good day, I have this problem in OBS my cursor is disappearing when I want to RESIZE or EDIT the SCENES. note: this problem is not related to recording or streaming.
What if you're trying to react to a show or movie, and there's no visual when after you've recorded, but it has sound? I'm sorry if that was worded weird.
you need to add your facecam with Video Capture Device and scale it down to make it look like you are reacting to it simultaniously if that what you after.
I have a huge issue with trying to stream dolphin emulator. It disconnects the emulator with the full controller function. Black out the screen. I have no way of solving this issue. Clicking the mouse between 2 monitors ruins everything.
Does Dolphin become black screen? or it showing black screen on OBS??? My suggestion is to play in borderless full screen on dolphin and capture it with Game Capture, if that doesnt work use Window Capture.

Some games have scripts and anti cheats which prevents obs from being able to use Game Capture to record

@@Zortec I’m streaming from ps5 to Twitch and kick with an evga xr1 pro capture card. I have an overlay programmed in OBS. When I stream my overlay, doesn’t show in Twitch or Kick. It’s just the main gameplay screen. I looked all over but I can’t find someone who has a video about this. I see my overlay in OBS but not on my stream channels
Ok so what Source are you using for your Overlays?
Is it a inbuilt overlay or is it from a browser source?

I have a problem with one game, the game is called Project IGI, the problem is that when I start the game, nothing is visible on OBS, on other games everything is fine, can you help with that.
Try playing Project IGI in borderless fullscreen or window mode. Instead of using Game Capture, use Window Capture.

whenever I tried to use OBS game capture for fortnite, it was always a black screen, but I found that going to Game Capture properties and enabling "Use anti-cheat compatibility hook" fixed it. and i dont think it's mentioned in this video
Thanks for mentioning this. By default Use anti-cheat compatability hook is already turned on any new obs setup. It seems you may have accidentally anticked it. I think maybe i should clarify this point next time i do new video on it :) Thank you

Good day, I have this problem in OBS my cursor is disappearing when I want to RESIZE or EDIT the SCENES.
note: this problem is not related to recording or streaming.
I got a question are you using Display Capture.
Did you increase the size of your cursor?
What if you're trying to react to a show or movie, and there's no visual when after you've recorded, but it has sound? I'm sorry if that was worded weird.
you need to add your facecam with Video Capture Device and scale it down to make it look like you are reacting to it simultaniously if that what you after.

I have a huge issue with trying to stream dolphin emulator. It disconnects the emulator with the full controller function. Black out the screen. I have no way of solving this issue. Clicking the mouse between 2 monitors ruins everything.
Does Dolphin become black screen? or it showing black screen on OBS??? My suggestion is to play in borderless full screen on dolphin and capture it with Game Capture, if that doesnt work use Window Capture.
