S+ guns always make mounted creatures attack when mounted. You can use them mounted on any creature regardless whether you're supposed to be able to use weapons on its back or not.
I'm sure you noticed, but one of the patch notes suggested that they changed the level curve on Lost Island so more high levels spawn. You say all the time that you don't do dino wipes, but this would be a good exception.
Manas are going to suicide out of the population pretty quickly, so I'd expect that any you find are recent spawns. Also, the Amagarsaurus and nearby Wyvern trenches do a decent job of cycling the population of everything else on the mountains.

A real good spawn point for some snowy owl boys is just south east of the volcano area by the small pond. Fun fact...that pond is also A great spot for black pearls with no shitheads in the water to mess with you. You're welcome.
No matter how many times I have tried the two gate techniques for Managarmr have never worked, they just glitch through. Even Captain fatdogs trap has failed me before, so it was an absolute godsend when they introduced the net gun anmo.

Yesterday me and my mom tamed 2 sinomacrops(one male one female) and an iguanodon. Today we didn't explore are home land a whole lot, we explored a new part of the jungle and went to the desert on a raft and got an anky and jerboa.
2:00 It is the number of pieces. You have to have a minimum number of pieces making up the enclosure to get the whole 300% effect. 20 pieces (at 15% per piece) are needed to get the whole 300% greenhouse effect.
@verysmartandbigwillyculturedman Yes. Difficulty level 6 will raise standard dinos, without level boost, to max level 180. Tech dinos and some special dinos like the Crystal Wyverns get a level boost from base game settings that let them go up to level 180 on difficulty level 5. So, using difficulty level 6 will make their max possible level even higher.(they get a 20% boost to their levels)
@verysmartandbigwillyculturedman Actually, Heir Crystal Wyverns will spawn special as they also get the +75 levels added to them to give eggs the same level as if you had tamed them and got max efficiency on the tame. So, on difficulty 5 the max level Heir Crystal Wyvern would be 255. using difficulty 6, the max level for them would be 291.

Hey man! Congrats on 1 million dude! Glad I'm one of them! 😁👍 Some info for ya, Amargosauruses are in fact nettable! Apparently the fastest way of taming one is to find a decent lvl alpha rex and trap it. Bring your chosen Amargosaurus after bonding to it, to just out of range of the rex's bite while it's trapped and net the Amargosaurus then wall it in, leaving a gap toward the rex so the Amargo can fit its neck through to shoot its spikes at the rex and you can also shotgun the rex, getting the taming bar up with every shot your doing! Bit of a kerfuffle admittedly but worth it for a fast tamed max lvl Amargo! 😁😁👍👍 Hope this helps mate! You can increase your greenhouse effect by just adding more glass pieces. Don't even need to make the roof higher, can just add walls to the top or more ceilings out to the side.
3:02 the amargasaurs seem like a massive pain to tame. You need both temp soups, yellow kibble, and cakes. Someone i watched tame them said its more ideal to pull them out of the snow biome when you start taming and theyre on follow. Bring them to the plains, where the rexes are. Otherwise ur gonna have a bad time.
Awesome as always brother Syntac! Though honestly I find you use the nets a little often, argies and anything else that only runs off near the end only need to be netted when theyre gonna run. You have your style tho :) Manas are almost the EASIEST tame ever imo, just trap with 2 dino doors and its helpless lol
As a maewing enthusiast watching Syntac slide and not jump them jump immediately after the slide ends so he doesn’t get the crazy high one makes me want to scream
What you did with the snow owl was brilliant. I highly recommend leading anything out of the snow biome if you wanna actually tame it. Had a mana mess up a max lvl Yuty tame then had some wolves attack a max lvl snow owl and they killed it and me. The entire snow biome ob Lost Island is the ultimate death snow of all the Arks. Edit: you always give me anxiety when you tame stuff lol build an Argy trap down the mountain and lead the snow owl in.

Loving the videos, I've been away from ark for a couple years, and I didn't know about the tame tracker lol. Is not leveling up movement speed a preference? There's a checkbox in the settings that allows you to turn on and off flyer speed limit. I found it the other day
They added that in with Crystal Isles if I recall, but it didn't actually work for the longest time. It would automatically uncheck itself and wouldn't work through the current session even when checked beforehand. It was a mess, honestly. Not sure when they fixed it as I played other things for a few months. I can't quite recall if I've gotten points in movement speed for fliers now. I feel like I have from taming and whatnot but don't quote me. I'd have to really check.
@@ElysetheEevee probably fixed it then, haven't had any problems with it yet. But it's Ark, still haven't figured out how to keep the difficulty setting from resetting
I was over by the big temple town area taming baboons and I ran into the cave under the waterfall to find a mana stuck In there jumping like crazy. Tranq’d it and was amazed at how low it’s food was. Insta tame indeed 😁
theres reason why I always trap manas using giant gates, they dont glitch out as much inside those. Learned my lesson after two manas trapped with small gates floated up into sky after taming. never got em back

I've lost my sino a couple times now. No idea where they got off at. Way to easy to throw them when riding a mount. I have to assume that's what happened, but I usually notice when I do that.
I made foundations with greenhouse walls, 2 walls tall for the width of my green house and then put ceilings over all the foundations the rest of it leaving it open on the sides and front, it was 300% greenhouse effect.
Tbh when the monkey hit the mana i was like oh then he started cussing i was like a amargasaur is gonna come out of nowhere title is definitely true lol
You actually need to add the sloped roof for full greenhouse affect. Means going to foundations wide cause you also need the normal flat roofing tiles. I’m sure sofort already said that though 😊
Just let the tame reset and redo it. The megapythicus hit box isn't buggy, you just don't know how to utilize it's fighting style properly, it's extremely easy to get out of the "so called stun lock" with one move. I'll have a video on it soon.

Dung Beatles don’t eat individual small poops, they need 2 small poops to make fertilizer and oil.

The S+ gun doesn't count as a weapon, you can also pull it out on dinos that you cant have a weapon out, but it does make them attack when you fire it

Soooo I don't know if you're aware Syntac but the Sinomocrops gives a speed boost(on console its hold xbutton) under water and uses no oxygen

I found such an easy way to trap them, get like 5 wooden cages then just spam them around the mana, traps it’s hit box in them. :)

You can net an Amargasuarus but, it is a big game hunter. The higher the creature's level is the quicker it will tame will be.
There should be a type of dart that let's you track wild dinos for a little so you can go get gear and come back to them

Syntac, in the volcano are there is a cave with lava flowing out of it if you go into the cave you can get magmasaur eggs and sulfer

If you hold down the r key you can go in the inventory of the cinemacrops, but you can't if your on a tame if I think
