The reason creatures often die in front of your eyes after losing them is because everything is in stasis when not in render. So they aren’t fighting when you’re not around.
should have put dino harvesting to 0x too, as long as you didn't want them to be able to harvest. but i think wandering and collecting wouldn't be cheating. anyway, i'd have a moschops army at the start as my bodyguards

Literally a brilliant ark video, I am currently in love with 100 days videos of ark but most are very repetitive. This one is a whole different level. You did crazy work and didn't just give up after loosing several times. Huge respect to you!
Most of the 100 days videos are edited in the way that people are using GFI commands , unless the ones that are live streaming, which aren't many. However, the videos are nice, just for the content. But don't get fooled, 90 % of them aren't really legit.

hey! I don't know if you just didn't have the resources or armor, but putting helmets on your monkeys could also really help with their survivability. getting some sort of water mount could also help as the deep sea drops could yield high tier saddles and armor. If you could manage to kill an alpha mosa or tuso somehow, you might also be able to tame a tusoteuthis, since those alphas drop guaranteed black pearls not linked to harvesting. you could also tame an otter for the colder caves since they use drag fish instead of meat. I really think that if you restart with all the knowledge and experience you gathered in this video, you could definitely beat the overseer in 100 days. You got this man.
This is why the settings customization is my favorite part about ark. Turning just one important setting to 0 (or others to absurd amounts) creates such an interesting challenge, there's probably countless other challenges you could do like this

GOD i forgot about that jump when you went in the lava cave but my heart sank when you were running up because i remembered losing tames there back in the day. this was legendary, despite not achieving an almost an unobtainable goal the gamma brood kill was awesome! GGs. fun editing as well. I'm glad you were cool with using the Leed meat because man, you really don't have much going for you when you can't harvest anything. that was really entertaining
My reasoning is that things like leed meat or bee honey, when ‘collected’ do not give any more than 50 or 5 even if you’re on 999999x, so since they don’t scale I allowed it. Glad you liked the video!

Something weird I noticed was after killing a raptor who was harvesting an Argentavis I opened it inventory and It had some meat and hide from the bird. So technically you could knock out a creature whilst eating something and it would already have food inside but this would be impractical with large carnivores and herbivores.

If you’re going for a creature without a saddle, might as well gotten the giant chicken or dire bear. You don’t need a saddle as they will still outperform a gigantophiticus

hi man just wanted to let you know that i recently tried out your concept of 0x harvest (although i didn't notice your other rates and played all in 1x XD). anyway i realised there's something strange about this mode: every last hit still gives you 1 item; for example if you picked up stone, you can pick up ONE stone. if you picked a bush 3 times, you might get ONE berry or fiber. if you harvest a dead dino, the last hit might get you ONE raw meat. i'm not sure if you will be keen to try again and see if it applies to you too?
Huge tip, u can 100% put helmets on monkeys, even if it is weakest helmet (cloth), at the end its probably the best u can achieve from the dead corpses loot.
You could’ve tamed these creatures without meat or berries on the island: Otter for pearls (and I think even fish meat maybe) Hesperornis for gold eggs and their exp boosts/ food Dung beetle for fertiliser and oil Oviraptor with hesperornis eggs, making even more eggs faster Rhyniognatha an insane flyer if you found a saddle Hyaenadon You probably should’ve done this on fjordur, because then you also have access to: Andrewsarchus, really good and doesn’t need a saddle Wyverns Rock drakes Deinonychus Bloodstalkers (I’m not actually certain they spawn there but I think so) Desmodus Shadowmanes if u got super lucky with drops, or got a gacha producing it And most importantly, gachas. Getting gachas wouldve made this challenge pretty easy to be honest. Would’ve given you access to nearly every craft, still no meat though. On the basis of meat, I wonder if fishing would still give you fish meat, even with 0x rates. Sure, it would take ages, but it’s still meat. Or you could’ve found a leed near shore and trapped it for infinite prime fish and spoiled meat.
@@juztify they are… surprisingly easy actually. You just kill a male, and get its pheromone. Then you just have to knock a female down to like 200 hp and feed your creature the pheromone. Then you’ve got a parasite incubating in your tame. Getting a saddle for it might not be possible, but still, it’s just really good.

Of you ever do another run like this remember to get a BARYONYX. You can tame it using Prime Fish Meat. And im pretty sure there is like a 20% chance to get a baryonyx saddle from the cave drops. (Idk which cave) And im pretty sure that you know that the baryonyx is the undisputed ruler of cave running. Ive also done a baryonyx only run and they are pretty good at the bosses. They were especially good at the dragon because of their insane range. So if you ever do a carnivores only run or a run similar to this. GET A BARYONYX. You also made a sub for this incredible masterpiece of a vid.
