Viver Brasil at Honoring the Sea 2008

Viver Brasil dancing the movement of Yemanja - Goddess of the Sea, Orixa of Sea Water, Guardian of Fishermen. The dance is fluid and cooling, like water. Notice the crowd around the dancers shout out Yemanja's name and salute her by saying "Odoiya". Yemanja's colors are white and blue, whereas Oxum, Goddess of Sweet Water / River, wears gold.
