Lucia Cordeiro on Orixa Dance

Master Dance Teacher Lucia Cordeiro talks about dancing the sacred movement of the Orixa (Afro-Brazilian Gods and Goddesses). Lucia Cordeiro is a dancer and a journalist who dedicates her life researching Brazilian rhythms and dances, and in particular, the African tradition. She believes movement and sound are the best healing medicine of all.
