Beautiful Dance in honor to Yemanja
This culture is from west Africa , nigeria on particular , and the ethic group is Yoruba , the yemanja is spelled iyemeja in Yoruba , which means mermaid , and this dance is Yoruba dance
Bellisimo...Saludos desde Venezuela...Maferefun Yemaya
This is a wonderful mix of the different Orisha dances, actually! well done LA! Axé
Axèeeeeeeeeeee yemayà!!!! beixos do Equador !!!!
minha mae e linda Axé a todos os filhos de Yemanjá!
When we were taken in the transatlantic slave trade, we retained and transformed in an effort to maintain. Like fish in an ocean we are different yet we are all fish. Each child calls her mother by a name; momma, mommie, mom, mother, ma, mother dear, and many more and the mother always answers :) It is through and with the Blessing of the Mother Yemaya as this child calls her, that we have survived. What a blessing to look at this dance from AFRICA and know we Remembered! my brother,we know.
Love it Axe!!!
