** Error in the Radiator Benchmark Chart **
Somehow, the experimental Arctic P12 mod made it back into the chart for Max Performance on radiators.
There are 2x Arctic P12 Max values on there now. The correct one is the - 9.4°C
The other one was something I've worked on some time ago and shouldn't be in the chart at all.
Sorry for the mistake here. I've removed that other value (again) and hope it doesn't miraculously appear again.

Lian Li does send a cable for each fan! I just filled my case with 120s and 140s and every fan had it's own cable!

Corsair RS120 MAX in your chart, but no video?
Will it come soon or did you for some reason decide it's not worth a video?

    • @STSYT

That’s because I benchmark fans in bulk (especially case fans) before continuing with them.
Just finished the RX120 script, rx 120 max is up for tomorrow morning

Noctua also send a bunch of neat things like rubber fittings, extension cables, rubber holders, a bunch of stuff you might use, and im happy to have them ready in my drawer, i always find myself needing this or that.

Another very important spec would be the minimum (or idle) Fan RPM.. unfortunately I couldn't find any information on that for this model..
I have an Enermax fan with a TRB which idles at around 390-400 rpm, that thing could lay on my pillow and would not disturb my sleep.. Fans that idle around 6-700 rpm are quite audible though and get annoying fast when reading text or something .. (IMHO). I have my PC sitting always opened right in front of me on my desk .. so..

🤔I'm sorry, as I wrote before, I love❤ your FAN and AIO reviews, but unfortunately I have to correct something here, I think. At 0:52 the statement isn't really true. Because Lian Li has always included a controller plus 3 fan/cable adapter parts in every pack of 3 of the Lian Uni - Fan series so that each of the 3 fans can be operated individually via the controller. At least that was the case in every pack of 3 of my Uni Fan SL, Uni Fan SL V2 and Uni Fan AL.😉

Thanks! Glad to hear you enjoy the content :)
I just quickly rechecked after your comment as I wasn’t sure anymore 😅
I’m sure some of them do, but not all. Take the TL’s there you got a connection cable, another one to run from one fan to another, and a third one connecting a fan straight to sata power.
Not quite what I had in mind with ‘connection’ cable 😅
I remember this issue quite well because of the LCD versions. For that review I had to solder a bunch of wires to two fans in order to separate them as none of my other Lian Li cables could run those 😅
But I’m sure some models come with different cable setups

@@STSYT Yes,😁 I remember the review of the TL fans and that was one of the reasons why I added at the end of my comment🙂 that for the models I mentioned I am sure that a controller and at least 1 cable per fan were definitely included. Personally, I only own the 3 models mentioned several times😜 as a pack of 3, but I have also made a few builds for other people/friends using the Uni Fan Infinitys. Well, I think we can narrow it down to the fact that the 3 cables per fan are/were included as standard only up to the Uni Fans Infinity at Lian Li if you bought a pack of 3.👍

0:59 Just wanted to point out that the triple pack of ThermalTake SWAFAN EX12 ARGB also come with three separate cables, each splitting into an ARGB and PWM connector to connect to the motherboard. So Cougar didn't do anything unique here. I built my PC last month having 9 SWAFANs.

the black ones i found nice but the white one are sadly not exactly white it seems to me... also they do not match to High End which equals to Overclocking needs...3000 rpm is wanted ! they all talking about performance but dont deliver real performance - its like german cars....here you have power but only up to 250 km/h... kind of castration to me ^^
i also dont like this attached old with new look .. they look just unfinished thoughts to me. and as near as the price range of precious and way more performant Lian Li Performance Fans - yeah they dont have RGB factory side but you can upgrade and it jus looks awsome.
for average segment to expensive for high end not enough - sorry cougar... try harder next time - TAKE your time dont rush !

The most pointlessly overengineered fans I've probably ever seen. Also they look kinda ugly, they've put looks over function first. These corners leave pretty big gaps which the air can circulate back through

I care about mm/h20, dbA, CFM, price. Anything else is just a bonus. Mintor94 you ever put narrow weather strip around radiator perimeter to seal the 'airflow'? I started doing that. Not sure how much it helps but no air escapes.
