I watched this tonight, two things hit me, first, what a great man Steve is and second, what a great interviewer Nigel is. He treated all of his guests with respect and asked some great questions.
A great show all round, so much better than the biased rubbish pumped out by the BBC.

What an incredible life and an incredible man. So lucid at 102 years of age. Thanks to men like this we have our freedoms. Lest we Forget....
UK was days away from getting invaded. If the battle of Britain continued for a few more days the Germans would have known our air force was completely depleted. Everyone in the south coast was getting ready for the German invasion. The spitfires saved Britain from being occupied.
I watched this segment of the show tonight - this gentleman is an example to us all.God Bless you Sir.
What a great man i remember asking my dad about the war he was the same never said anything i still wonder to this day what are father's and grandfather's went though for our freedom

guy said it, he lived in a time where food was more wholesome than we have now ! food quality feels so bad these days
Food, fresher air, less pollution, walking/ cycling more. Generally healthier.
It's still all there for those to choose and work with but the call of McDonalds is stronger and no one these days is taught how to cook for themselves. My Mum gave me boiled cabbage ( proper dark green stuff) 3 times a week never had acne or any skin complaint.

What a great man Steve is, and can I also say what a great interview by Nigel.
I honestly think Nigel is probably the best presenter/ interviewer in this country at the moment, he doesn't read from a script let's his guests speak without interrupting or speaking over them and most importantly of all researchers and is very knowledgeable about his subject matter, don't expect to receive any awards though Nigel.
Great interview of a great man of a great generation.

What a fantastic guest in Steve Melnikoff, one of the last of a generation who fought for all the freedom we enjoy today.
God bless Steve and his generation for those people who fought in, grew up and lived through the two great wars of the last century brought me up and gave me the morale out look and freedom I enjoy today. Sadly the freedom they paid such a high price for is being abused by modern generations, when I look at society in the uk today I feel the price they paid was way too high.
I love this man, a real man and a hero

If you ever get him back on I would like to hear his perspective on our generation and the other generations that came between him and us. It's be interesting as well to see how he felt about various allied nations and axis ones and to see how those feelings have changed over time.
He has aged very well.

This is why Farage is a beacon of Britishness, and patriotism, and why people like Linekar, and Neville could never do an interview with someone like this. They despise patriotism, and being proud of ones country and heritage. It also warms my heart that Farage and Melnikoff still value the close relationship between our two great countries.
