Who's ignoring it? This pedantic nonsense gets wheeled out all the time, especially when the topic of immigration comes up. The Romans left no genetic imprint on the English. Further, The Anglo-Saxons, Danes and even Normans were essentially from the same haplogroups, so to try and spin some 'mongrel' narrative from that is like saying a Newcastle FC supporter who marries a Southhampton supporter is in a mixed-race relationship. Military tribes are not separate races.
@@skymanifest8339 you are making my point, hence why I used / to allude to the lack of difference. The majority of the English belong to the North Atlantic modal haplotype and can be traced back to 7 females who crossed into England before the rise in sea levels that created the English Channel.
Great Britain is the geographical title of the island that houses the English, The Scottish and the Welsh. There could be a case for also mentioning the Cornish, as they have their own language, separate and distinct from the others, whilst being directly related to the history of the land.
I'm Welsh, or in other words British, but I don't get this St. Georges Day angst. The welsh do not celebrate St. Davids day, apart from children dressing up. We don't stop work or do anything, some people wear a daffodil, maybe a leek I don't get the hype.
@@skymanifest8339 You may be right but, believe me, the liberal media sneer at us in many other ways. We voted for Brexit, are not particularly interested in multiple genders, etc. We are considered by them as needing guidance.
if you think you're the only country in the world who can’t celebrate who you are..just look across the chanel where there are those countries you think you're different from and you'll see you wrong
Whats he on about. The English are always celebrating their identity, their royalty etc.... The Paddys day celebration is a unique event for Ireland where the World celebrates them coz theyre well liked everywhere(prolly coz they havent colonised anyone). Its not the norm for the majority of countries to be celebrated like that Worldwide..... Dont see any reason why England shouldnt celebrate St Georges day altho Im no fan of nationalism.. .Its just weird. Be proud of who you are and where your from but flag hugging/celebratin it with any level of seriousness is just weird... Paddys day is just an excuse for pints which is probably why people like it.
The Internet gives the common man information with which he can make his own mind up. Not reading the garbage you write in the Newspaper which is just your opinion. I can see why your upset
Your memory is faulty. Oi was basically Punk, sans the middle-class art school poseurs. The Fascist RAC element came years later, thanks to middle-class music journalists portraying it as such, which attracted the racists.
Bernard Manning was one of the best a hard worker and a thoroughly decent person. If he was asked to fund-raise towards a vehicle to take children on day trips, he never claimed any of his expenses and would actually turn up with the van they were collecting towards.
Garry Bushell, a working class hero, it’s great to see him on GB news, it would be great to see him have a regular spot, oi oi, Garry Bushell
Great talking pints. England has a culture/influence to be proud about.
We are the BRITISH people! We are the people of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Proud to be British!
Great bloke Garry Bushell, nice trip down memory lane too 😉🇬🇧
Brythonic-Celtic/Roman/Romano-British/Angles, Saxons, Jutes/Danes/Normans. They are the foundations of England. Why ignore this?
It certainly gets ignored when jealous lefties harp on about the British Empire being bad. Their DNA is all there.

True British Patriot - Nigel Farage
Yeah, ok Nigel, we get the message. 😂
More Bushell please, give him a job GBN! 😉
Give Farage a job , he is just wandering , wondering , what to say next . So sad .
Really enjoyed this . Gary your a legend 👏
The more evil society becomes the more intolerant they become of the truth!!!
Brilliant guest - should have been and hour this one! Nice one Nigel great interview!
Our freedoms dissapeared 2 years ago and no-ones battered an eyelid.
"Battered"? It's not Bushell 's dinner! 😊
Fleet Street in the 80's was about as much fun as you can have with your clothes on!
Total legend.
Well well, if it ain't Gaz Gonad. Oi oi !!!
It is terrible that Englishness is seen as some sort of right wing extremism...

Remember when Garry Bushell used to say that Gay people should be cancelled.
Nige please join reform. And take garry with you. The country wold be a much better place
I would love them to bring his show back he could do it on you tube or could GB news do it
Top man.
I’m Scottish, have no probs with English, Welsh,Irish or anybody only other Scots.
The swimming gag was from the goons. Still funny though, but credit to Spike would have been been nice.
Nigel Farage
The Conservatives are Labour with the handbrake on.

How is the BBC “champion of Welsh Nationalism”?
Matthew Kelly plays this part really well

I don't think I would ever have describe Gary Bushell as a serious journalist let alone a "Fleet Street" legend. Like you Nigel... but get real.

Here's a question. Could Vladimir Pooooootin ( american pronunciation ) be the savour of the west ?
Lemonaid its Northern Ireland

A Fleet Street legend? Seriously??
Legend? Oh do behave!
Very keen on the Racist/Fascist Rock genre of "OI" back in the day, if my memory serves me.
It wasn’t and isn’t racist or fascist. It is simply working class rock/punk music, which obviously triggers middle class music critics and snobs.

@@skymanifest8339 Correct but even then, the number of racists wasn't as big as made out.
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde:
Name dropping Bernard Manning might be seen as misfortune; to name drop Lily Savage is fucking desperate.
