There's always that fear of "am I yanking this off the wall the wrong way?" This video reduced that fear enough for me to yank it off the way the *right* way. Thank you!

Exactly! I’ve had mine halfway off & pushed back on three different times. Lol thinking I was breaking it. Very helpful to see 👏

Thank goodness for the internet and RUclips! This took me only a minute and saved me from calling maintenance and then feeling embarrassed after seeing how easy it was! 😅 🙏🏼🙏🏼

    Thank You
Mine was showing a LOW BATT on the screen and a 1 bar left battery symbol. That’s how I ended up here.
It was just i accident I decided to look a the thermostat and saw the warning ⚠️.
The batteries were the original. I had this unit for several years. 😊

I purchased 2 of these units probably 6+ months ago now, and they are really good units. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxcr5WULFU6yC9UUKc_cdNJT9jGa6VxO1l They are great for 3d printer plastic dry boxes, freezers, vehicles, gun safes, and more. The unit in the picture was pulled from my deep freezer and moved into my truck center console (monitoring humidity for water leak). It took a few hours to thaw and normalize temp and humidity reading going from those extremes, as expected, but it handled it well and is still running great.

Do I need to turn off the AC before removing the front cover?

Changed in under 1 minute and had to reprogram thermostat.

It would make sense if the thermostat showed any kind of "low battery" warning message. My heat wasn't working and I thought something was wrong with my boiler, had to pay a technician to come and look at it and turns out the thermostat was just low on batteries. Especially because the LED screen is still on, and it still appears to be working fine, I have no way of knowing the batteries needed replacing 🤷‍♀

Strange - mine is showing a triangle with and exclamation point and the word battery, which is why I came here to find how to change it.
