    I am waiting for parts, as I am building one of these. Thanks for the tips, looks as if I’ll be ordering shocks now 😄. Still looks to be good fun with the family.

      Absolutely, my kids love driving it and it’s capable enough to be a lot of fun. I just installed a sound system in it, my little one loves the engine noises! Neon leds next!

    I did exactly what you do, Bought the same body (mine was green too) with tires and over time and several hundreds of dollars the result was a complete new car, there's nothing of the original model I had to replace even the screws after the originals broke one by one.

    I put 2.2 wheels on mine front wheels hit the shocks a lot when I stear makein the springs turn as fast as the wheels even with thinner shocks

    How long are the hole-to-hole lengths of the original shock absorbers from this kit?

    Internal springs are acting as a limiter when compressed

    not sure I get the message but holy shit this thing rocks in 14:10. same in 13:18, those big wheels are a killer. Do you think it will survive a brushless system? I reckon it can be a cheap axial raft competitor with cheaper parts right? How is the durability? I saw the shaft snap. Is that something that happens a lot?

    That looks very much like a gmade r1 on a full on rock crawler they don’t have oil in the shocks just bit for movement m8

      @MrBladebloke  3 года назад +1

      Yea iv always fancied a R1 but they are a bit pricey so when I saw this I thought I’d give it a go. I like the way it looks but I’m sure the g-made performs better. Iv oil filled the shocks and it’s quite a bit better, was too bouncy without it.

    What tires are those??

  • @davidhazelden2054
    @davidhazelden2054 3 года назад +2

    O u will find that if u turn the end points down it won’t brake them as easy u should check all end points on ur controler m8

    • @MrBladebloke
      @MrBladebloke  3 года назад +1

      I always check the end points, unfortunately with the huge tires on I was only getting about 15° of steering angle before they hit the shocks.
