You are one of a few singing teachers on here who use scientific explanations of different registers. Thank you!

Hi! I'm a male, when I try to do M2 in the range from C4 to E4, my voice are so low in volume that I seem to have no way to increase it. So should I keep practicing it and hope that it gets better, or should I instead do M1 in this range? Thank you.

Hello! It's hard to say without hearing you, however from working with male singers, this is extremely common at this pitch. I would advise working with a teacher but you could try both. Safely strengthening M1 and if you want to approach in M2, I'd advise taking it from a higher pitch and descending down to those notes.
