Coming out of the tail end of the golden age of hip-hop and being pushed into the mumble rap trap music era. Appreciation for the old school with an understanding that music changes with the passage of time. Loving the old shit without criticizing those who listen to the new age shit. Tupac said it best. Artists had to adapt and start making music about partying and drugs because that's what the people ultimately wanted to hear and that's what makes money.
