I remember playing this game for hours; was incredibly fun and very well crafted actually, with different dunks and the shooting and everything! It was a lot of fun, great moments in life
So much of my youth on this game - but I’d completely forgotten that the Computer could not dribble. At all. Seems so weird now - but back then you didn’t blink an eyelid.
I used to play this one as a kid - even being from another country. We had a super basketball player by then and he was all we had. This game was wonderful to me cause the players looked so different from another. The movement seemed real to me and it was fun. To me, THE basketball game befor NBA Jam
Incredibly well made for that time, and its not like you had to play against the computer, I have great memories of playing against my friends, i dont think this video showed it but you could also block shots, steal balls and if I recall correctly the players moved slower as they got tired and you had to make substitutions. Very fond memories of this game.
Just had to look for this for my 12yo, to compare to his 2k22 game. The personalisation of the characters with so few pixels was outstanding. I sunk countless hours into this
Played this game in 1991, made each team win the championship! With Bulls, I made Jordan always the only scorer (except when his resting, due to low HE). Memories!
Same here bro. This game was fun for its time this all we had. Magic Johnson was the 🐐 of this game he was fast and the best 3 point shooter on here. He had a sweet spot it was in the middle of the 3pt arc. But what I use to do is pump fake and get to the basket. And I always stole the ball when the opponent try to inbound.
I remember a exploit. After a basket, when the opposing player inbounds the ball, you can block him from coming inbound, then the other player will still pass him back the ball anyway, therefore out of bounds. Fun times.
First played this game on a CGA IBM PC with 384K ram and maybe 7 mhz. I was so bummed when it wouldn’t load on my Tandy 1000 since the Tandy only had 256K, therefore I didn’t see these colors until I got a 386 lol…
if my memory serves me correctly, it's the game where the audience throws a banana peel on the playing field, I've been looking for that game for a long time, there was an easter egg when you were late for a long time, so the aforementioned banana peel arrived. btw it wasn't a problem back then it couldn't be played on MS-DOS :-)

Yeah, considering it was developed in late 80s, it really had good features.
the simplicity of this game makes it more fun than some of the more recent bball games
Yeah, same for may oldies we were lucky to play and publish in this channel!
I used to play this great game with a 4 color CGA screen, and then moved to VGA screen and saw it like it is in this video- WOW!!
this game was great
Yes it was as all the rest that cam after all the way up to Live 95
Spent thousands of hours playing this game on my 286 🥳
Golden days.
I had this game back in the day. It was freaking AWSOME back then.
Played this game for hours every day during one Christmas holiday season in the 90s. Good old times :)

I used to play this all day in my olivetti 286 pc with black and white monitor. It was real fun. Good old days..
oh my god, what a beautifull moment of life
Stockton was a beast in this game, so many memories.
Always with the layup 👌
lol and you should never dribble in front of Stockton because he would immediately steal it from you.
Played this endlessly as a young kid until I'd wake up drooling on the desk. Lol
Me and my cousin played this all the time at my grandparents house!!
I used to play this a lot in my Pc 286
Me too!
I want to laugh and cry at the same time right now...
I turned back time of about 30-32 years...
My first videogame with BUDOKAN in my PC 386 vga :D
So many nice memories... Used to play that one back in 1994
Remember playing brother in this game. He used the Knicks and I used the Bulls. Enjoyed the versus series more than the current games

Yes, the game was kind of a reference. We just show some basic gameplay though.

I played this game a lot, and kept my own stats! Always played the Chicago Bulls.
Haha. Same here
me too :)
Watched the Netflix last dance, and this game was my last encounter with anything basketball related.
Hey bros!! It's too sad that we r getting older day by day with our hero, MJ...
Recuerdo muy bien este juego. Era fabuloso
Still my favourite bball game. I’d love if someone made the same game but with current day players.

Had this on PC back then. Was pretty damn impressive for the time.

had the cracked version of this. lots of fun
Gran nostalgia, grandes recuerdos...
Kareem era infalible con su sky hook
Ahhh, great game!
joguei muito esse jogo em 1990
joguei muito isso no meu 486 dx2 , ficava horas nesse joguinho
Used to always play Stockton . The dude was a killa. Instant offense and as unstoppable as Kareem in the game.
2:45 dat dunk ! The only one that was better was the same from the side of the rim

Bring it back as a PS4 version
My first NBA game
the cpu never run with the ball haha.
My first game from Electronic Arts xD
OMG I had this in 89
I have played on XT with a Hercules monitor.
right in the childhood
I played this game waaaay to much.
i remember this game. kareem had his hook shot, and jordan could do 360 dunks
The backboards in this game seem to stand up to dunking a little better than the ones in Magic Johnson's Basketball, from the same year....
Wow I never knew the original version of this had Kareem Abdul Jabbar
Lions ball 🏀🏈🏈⚽ 89 that's goes
Ribs in
Any link to download again?
Better than all 2Ks combined
