This game was amazing. 1989 and the amount of detail in this game was astonishing. The stats influenced the performance on the field and players would actually get tired, if you put them in too long. Also you could get good at multiple aspects of the game, stealing, rebounding, blocking, passing, scoring. And as a european through this game i got to be a fan of Abdul Jabbar. I remember practising the sky hook on the courts just because it was such a succesful move in the game haha.

I remember playing it when I was about 10 years old on a big old bulky pc which was really modern at the time and thinking it was the coolest thing ever. Looks old now compared to NBA2K and all the others but still awesome! to me anyways lol
I used to play this game when I was a kid. I had a PC at home with a 286 processor, 1MB RAM, 42MB hard disk and Hercules graphics card, and I was playing on a black and white monitor. The color version looks very different.

Playing as Kareem and using the sky hook... memories. This game was really well done. One of the first great sports games.

I played this in 1992 when I was 8 yo, and this was amazing. I still remember my record of 141 pts scored per one game
