I prefer the orange and grey that was iconic they should’ve kept that scheme imo! Also the front door window was really useful too and front external pole was better IMO.
You have some of the most detailed tent tours on RUclips. I definitely trust your perspective far more than most. However, the tents packed size is a deal breaker for me, you don’t show it. I think it would add to the videos if you did.
Hi, a great look at the Trango thank you. I like the explanation of the construction detail, poles and fabrics. Fantastic demo of the internal guy system which I haven't seen demonstrated before. I have owned two Trango's over the years and they never let me down. The internal features are fantastic and the tent is so liveable when on longer trips. It would be nice however to see better guy lines and pegs at this price point as this is considered a premium product. Liked and Subbed and good luck with growing your channel. ATB Tom
The Trangos are definitely a robust and solid system, especially in high alpine environments where weather is variable. Glad that we were able to show you the internal guy system. Thanks for the support!
Great video love these tents can’t wait for mine to come so fed up with all the hillebergs I’ve had . Only disappointment is that there made in bloody China
Which hilleberg's did you have and what didn't you like about them? I've just been looking into 2 person 4 season tents and the especially the hilleberg Tarra. Looking into the trango and a couple others as well.
Hi I was wondering if you could help me ? I bought the MH Trango 2 last year. Ive taken it up to Scotland a few times and it’s got absolutely soaked inside. Is this tent just built for high winds and snow ? Any help would be much appreciated thank you.
Hi Jack, the Trango is definitely built for high winds and snow. It is Mountain Hardwear's most rugged mountaineering expedition tent. That being said, it's hard to properly diagnose the problem you had without knowing how you set up the tent. I would suggest for next time to make sure the fly is taut (using the tensioning system) as well as using the guyout points to create more space and ventilation between the fly and the tent body. That should help keep moisture away from the tent. Opening the ventilation window zip if possible to reduce condensation is also something to try. If all that fails and you need more help, please contact Mountain Hardwear's customer care team here: mountainhardwear-can.zendesk.com/hc/en-us
The Trango tent has waterproof construction with fully taped fly and bathtub floor. You could also purchase a floor footprint for extra protection from the ground surfaces & rain if you wish.
"This is Delrin, not plastic." Bubba, Delrin is a Polyoxymethylene plastic. Don't try and blow false smoke up people's butts for what looks to be a pretty good tent anyway.

Spray paints come in many colors.
I love this review thank you for taking the time to make it

Are you planning a video about the mountain hardwear AC2 tent.. ?
Hi Joseph! We don't carry the AC2 tent unfortunately.
Do you feel like this is worth the 3 additional lbs over the MSR Remote 2?
Think I'll keep my saitaris 🇬🇧👍

Is the floor waterproof, or is this a tent that you can only use in ideal conditions?
The Trango tent has waterproof construction with fully taped fly and bathtub floor. You could also purchase a floor footprint for extra protection from the ground surfaces & rain if you wish.
@@EscapeRouteCA taped huh.
Beautiful color. Btw, where is this place located?
We filmed this in Squamish, BC Canada!
