Bon jour from Finland! Oh, what a hidden jem your channel is! What a blessing to find you here 💛 It is very nice to meet you. I am all about silk scarves, I have been all my adult years. I already wore them back in college and I also wear one with goretex outerwear too. I am a tall woman with long neck and I find that a silk scarf balances nicely the swan effect that can look disproportionated. Also as a European nothing gives you that much needed warmth than a good scarf. I especially adore Christine Lagarde’s way to use silk scarves. Trés chic!
I love my silk scarves. I worked in Harrods scarf dept during uni holiday where I learned about them. Hermes and Ferragamo are my favourites and my guilty pleasure when I can. I hate it when I’m asked if I’m a flight attendant though!! 🙄 I do lots of different folds but try not to make it too fussy around my neck as it’s not very long. Love love my scarves ❤
Madame, vous êtes charmante. I liked all your ideas and happen to be a person, who has a large collection of scarves, - 90 % of them silk scarves. I know there are so many pretty ways to tie them, just sometimes in a hurry, I stop remembering, how to do it. Now I have 4 or 5 short videos showing me, what to do. I prefer medium-large square scarves and also those small ones that look so sweet with a bow. Thank you.
Aleksandra I love your channel. Here in America we don’t see women wear those lovely scarf anymore. I will continue wear my scarfs with your style. Thank you!!
Thank you! Beautiful tips! I love scarves! I have a big pillowcase full lol! I tie them in my hair too! I wear them every day! For every occasion! Many are very old!
How wonderful to have such a collection squirrelled away in a pillowcase! You're right, they are so versatile. I'll be working on a little scarf series at the end of the month. Oh I love them tied in my hair too! 😍
I really enjoyed the variety of ways in which you demonstrated wearing large scarves because I have a very nice collection of silk scarves and always tend to wear them only a few different ways over and over. Most often I admit I lack the confidence to wear them more. You have inspired me to wear them more often. Thank you for this video.
Silk scarves are just so joyful aren’t they! Thank you for your warm message. Do let me know if you have anything else you’d like inspiration on, maybe I’ll make a video on it! 🌞
I enjoyed your scarf-tying methods. I tied a small knot at the corners on the last large scarf where you pinned the corners for the same effect. Great quick shoulder covering on board cruise ships. I have Hermes scarves purchased from second-hand shops! You don't have to be French or rich to own beautiful scarves.
I sew little matching ribbon loops of mine, then hang them on a 36-hook rack. They never get creased and I can see them all. (“Belt rack” from Container Store, US).🙂
LOVE the opened half bow!! GREAT idea. I have about 65 scarves, mostly silk, from around the world. They are my signature. I love how you play soft and bright colors!! I have lots of creative opportunities from your video. Thank you!

So glad to find you! You are lovely, ... what fun and great ideas. I am going to knot my long thin scarves I love that! New idea to wear the point to the side with the square neck one. Thank you!
I have a little Liberty silk scarf addiction some I've had since the seventies. I liked this video as it kinda perked up my interest in finding new ways to use them. At sixty seven I may have to give the bikini a miss but I like the idea of creating a difference in your casual wear. Everyone here, west coast Canada, is constantly dressed like they're going camping.
Oh I adore Liberty and imagine they did some amazing carves in the 70s! I spent a few frozen winters in Montreal, and it was all very practical and functional, and loved to wear my silk scarves with the Northface goretex jackets and fleeces (and loads of layers underneath) It helped me to feel more like myself! 🤗
Really like this video and the different exemples you demonstrated. I feel like the carré de soie is so underrated in general, especially in men's wardrobe. I love to wear them in my casual oversized streetwear outfits as the great detail or to link colors. Definitely a great accessory, and an even greater video! :)
Thank you so much, and love that you wear them with casual oversized streetwear outfits, I can imagine that looking wonderful! Have a lovely weekend! 😍
Thank you for this tutorial, I’ve always loved silk scarves and have worn them intermittently throughout my 64 years. My style is quite edgy and I love the juxtaposition of edge or grunge with a silk scarf. I’ve picked up my best pieces from charity shops, I look for silk with hand rolled edges as an indication of quality if the scarf is not branded. I have a number of very stylish French friends and believe me they don’t own Hermes or Gucci scarves 😊
I love that idea of the juxtaposition, so cool! And also vintage scarves, there are so many amazing treasures to be found out there! Thank you for watching, 🌻

Hermes silk with a torn ACDC tee. Rolled and worn arount a straw hat. My fave: around my head, in a bohemian hippie style, with a tail going down and brought back over the shoulder.
To make the last look, I just fairly loosely knot the ends. I have a huge summery silk scarf and did this during summer as it was so hot, only the coolest, sleeveless dress could be worn and I didn't want my arms showing.
I prefe ingr a looser look about the neck. Putting the scarf in a triangle, corner to corner, and draping, as you did the Japanese scarf you received as a gift. It is my favorite look With a longer scarf, the triangle in the front, disguises a "tummy". It is also looks well with a strand of pearls or statement necklace nesting on top. Using a brooch as a scarf pin on the shoulder is fun, and adds additional personality.
