A metal garden shed assembly is a straightforward but a long task which will take most if the day. Once the shed is erected can provide much-needed storage. Follow our simple instructions and tips to build a shed so that it lasts for years.
NOTE: Before you start the assembly, study the manufacturer’s manual. At the first glance the parts seem identical, but if fact the holes are drilled in different positions. All parts are numbered so make sure you use the correct items. Disassembly is very time consuming, and the parts bend and scratch easily.

🤗🤗 Saving my behind!!! I got one of these “for free” …. Had to disassemble and haul off … i wrote all over it in sharpie lol😅 left…. Right… top … etc … but I have been fighting with it to get it back together!!

I have one of these, it's been a nightmare!!!! I think the apex/ridge pieces would be easier put on in stages as I now have a roofed shed but, can't reach the apex. Am reliant on my brother to come back! Something is obviously wrong, either with us or the shed as the roof holes don't match in some places, also the sides at one point at the bottom don't match!
It seems flimsy initially, but, once put together, is sturdy!

To be fair, it took me and my friend all day to finish the job. I would believe it's not the exception and building a metal shed just takes time.

As an Engineer, I think this would be worth having a brew and laying all the parts out BEFORE attempting assembly. Then try to build each "wall" up in one block so you can seal everything up first. I guarantee the first summer of owning one of these, it will be home to a lovely well mannered nest of wasps. Thos vents are like the Hilton for nasty things that sting, bite and generally spoil your summer. TOP TIP though, find a brown paper bag and fill it full of scrinched up old paper then hang it close to the vents and roof. Any queen wasp who enters will see a "nest" and bugger off somewhere else. If one day, you go in and find TWO....RUN!!!

How do you get the middle screws on the roof panels to go into the side roof beams, the top and bottom holes line up with a at the top / b at the bottom but middle screw holes won’t line up
I’m a day into putting one of these sheds up for a customer. What a horrible experience it really is. The runners on for the door assembly has got the better of me I have to say. Never ever again

great video, how did you manage to screw in at the 13:15 mark? Were you able to reach while being on a ladder? i have a 9x10 and i'm struggling to see how i can connect everything now that i have the ceiling panels on
I took it standing on the ladder. But the shed was small. Dimensions from the description on the box: L1740 x W2360 x H2060mm

Do you think rivits can be used instead of screws to put together? I'm going to get a 6x6 for a hunting blind.
Using rivets can be difficult because the joined surfaces must be pressed. You won't always press well here. The screw itself tightens the connected elements.

How do we assemble the section where the doors go our instructions show to screw in where the sliders go to attach it but there are no screw holes

I bought one from b and q and the instructions are really difficult to follow. I did it in the correct order and yet a few times I had to undo a piece previously fitted just to facilitate a new piece. It's been a nightmare. A day and still not finished. By the way I'm usually fairly reasonable at building things from a manual.
How to fix it on the floor? are there dedicated screws? or it just standing on floor freely?
Can be attached with concrete anchors. I used to have a metal shed that was just placed and there was no problem.

I showed how to fix the roof. You can't stand on it. He's too delicate.

I notice this is out together with screws instead of rivets was that the way it was provided when purchased? Or did you decide to use screws instead.
Is there anyone out there who has assembled a garden shed (that arrived with rivets) with screws instead? If so how did it go, how can i figure out what size (thickness) of screw to buy to fit the holes already in the shed parts so i don’t need to use nuts and bolts?
I have never put together a Garden shed before and I have never put together anything whatsoever with rivets before, I have built plenty of small pieces of furniture like tables and chairs and so on with wood and screws, and the shed that I have purchased I have not actually looked at yet so I am not sure whether these come with holes in them I am assuming they do that I just need to find a screw the right size to fit in the holes or whether there are other things to consider
i.e. is it possible for me to take a metal shed that I have purchased as like a flat pack and choose to use screws instead of the rivets that are provided? I am renting at the moment and saving to buy my own land which I hope to purchase within the next 6 to 12 months so I would like to be able to easily disassemble the shed and take it with me at that time.
Also, knowing me, I’m bound to rivet the wrong two pieces together at some point during the assembly so if I did it with screws at least that mistake will be easy to undo
The shed is assembled with screws. They are included. No rivets. The instructions specify what type of screws to use, where is the nut and where is the washer.

I can say from experience that this cabin will blow away in the next storm! You have to tie it to the ground!

The plate is thin. Can be deformed by hitting with some tool. But it's stable. It will be many years.
