Just finished mine today. Worked on it an hour here, hour there… probably have a total of 8 hours in it over a two week period but, I definitely took my time and didn’t Rush anything. The directions, for the most part were OK but, that’s where your video came in handy so thank you for that. All in all, not bad. Definitely cheaper than a wood shed delivered or build one.
Pretty cool, my friend bought 2 of the same shed and he wants me to assemble them. You r video helped me out alot by seeing what it looks like and what construction is about. Thank you for your video my friend!!
Just ordered one today, need the space for mower, snowblower, rear tine tiller, pressure washer and garden tools. We ordered the 10 x 12 size its the maximum size that doesn't require a building permit in our town. Already have a 12 x 24 concrete pad to put it on.
I ended up getting mine for free because it was missing parts and was dented from shipping. I have done a bit of re-engineering on mine and it will be a more sturdy and secure shed. Thanks for the video.
Nice job! I was debating on how to do the roof frame, my instructions show putting it together then putting it on top. One thing with mine, they consider the overhang in the size. It never said to make the floor frame shorter. Now I have 3 inches wider on each side.🤣
Nice pair of videos! Looks like about a three-hour job for two people. You could employ the offspring as plastic-peelers, get some use out of 'em. 🙂 -- Recommend you cover the vents on the inside with screening to keep out flying insects. Don't want wasp nests in there! And if the corrugated nature of the siding/roof panels allows gaps, use spray foam to seal those gaps up. -- When you use it as a pig barn, maybe install some foam panels with the reflective side facing inwards on the roof and walls, to keep it warmer in the winter. Maybe also tape over one vent on each end in the winter, also for warmth. How were the fasteners? Anti-rust? Me being a bit obsessive/paying attention to detail, I'd swap out inferior fasteners for SS ones.
Thanks for this video, very helpful and informative. I am considering this shed but not looking forward to all that peeling. Was wondering how wet it gets inside when it rains, does the roof leak?
I have a 10x8 shed we’re about to put up and it came with a steel frame. I have to put it on my lawn and I’m interested in any and all feedback in regards to how to place it. Can it go right on level lawn or do I have to dig out the center for rocks for a moisture barrier? I’ve seen so many videos but none that have a shed right on the ground, most say to elevate the frames with concrete stones. How is yours holding up with moisture and do you have any advice for putting a shed on lawn? Thank you! Your shed looks great
The problem you’ll have is it’s really designed to go on concrete. There’s 4 deep wall plugs and screws for the corners and this helps stabilize it. You can probably do it on the grass but it might not be to sturdy not bolted down
How did you do the top panels. For me the pre existing holes didn’t align with thw holes on the top of the panel. They didnt align with the center support beam.
I will buy that one but first I will make a concrete floor. I have a smaller one and it is now 13 years old and still fine, but it is on a concrete floor. Good job 👍🏽
Yeah I am wondering about that. The bees are alright. We only had rain this spring really all summer until today. So no honey this year and I am feeding them to get them to bulk up.
Great video, thanks. I'm getting ready to buy one myself to put my motorcycles in. How many swear words were made while assembling? They say something isn't great unless at least 3 come out. 😂😂 But thanks again.
@@brandon7798 I can built one for you cheaper, where you from? What state? Built it from ground up or one of those packages that you order from amazon?
You put it on the ground? Not a platform!? Oh! Brother, don't follow this guys example. The weight of it is going to settle in the dirt over time and will become uneven and doors will not close properly. Especially if you stand, walk, or roll a lawnmower over the threshold.
Lol, yeah because it weighs so much when I lift it up with one hand. Been driving over that threshold and doing everything to that thing and it still works just fine thanks for your info though.

That’s awesome glad it went well. Yes way cheaper and easier to move if you need too. 😃
I don’t remember
Yes, more videos! Great job. I wish I could move that fast. Hats off to you, Now fill er' up.
😆 right. I am going to fill it up today

Thanks for your video it's gonna help me a lot
I really enjoyed learning from your video. Lost my instructions, so very grateful you made this video.
😃
You lost them no way

Thank you for posting this, inspired me to build one myself. Its already being shipped!!! Cant wait to start this project
That’s awesome! It was a pretty basic build but feel free to reach out if you have questions and enjoy your new space!

Okay I think I can do it. Awesome videos it help a lot.
👍😃
We miss you all, any video of you all we would appreciate! Glad we got to see you again. 😂😅😊
Thanks we actually miss making daily videos. It just got to hard and it doesn’t pay the bills. So we are just trying to post as much as we can.
Wow Matt did a great job with this shed even though Sara wasn’t there to make sure he didn’t miss up
Thanks
I want to see how you’ll organize. I can always use ideas and inspiration.
👍😃
Thanks.
Thank you!

Great videos, starting a 10 x 12 tomorrow, gonna use your videos as I go along👍
Nice
Damn a 10 x 12, mr. Moneybags..

Thanks for all the great ideas. 😃 so far nothing has rusted.
I wish the boxes were labeled in line with the instructions. If you enjoy a good scavenger hunt, you'll love this shed kit 😅
😄
Thanks for this video, very helpful and informative. I am considering this shed but not looking forward to all that peeling. Was wondering how wet it gets inside when it rains, does the roof leak?
Nope no leaks.
Nice job. Here's a tip learned the hard way. Anchor your shed to the ground or eventually you will find it upside down.
Thanks I will do that
How?
They have holes in side
@@mattsara2802 and you just put like j pins in them or does it come with it? I bought one and about to start putting it up
It did not come with any. I used tent nails at an angle.

How does it fair as far as water tight? I have read comments that it leaks... thanks! About to buy 10x12 and so would love a quick comment back.
Mine hasn’t leaked yet
your garage is spacious and clean compared to mine
😂 not anymore 😆
How it did with the snow ? I just bought one, and it snow a little bit by where I live.
It did good here. We didn’t get much snow but when we got snow, it was wet and heavy and 4 to 5 inches at a time.
I wonder why there’s so many air gaps
Because they don’t send you the foam pieces that close those areas off
Idk but my roof panel holes are not aligning correctly
How long did it take to put the shed together?
Hey is this hole kit just self tapping screws mostly?
Yup
Looks good.
Thanks
Im getting ready to build this shed . Looks like the plastic was the toughest part . Lol good lord . I think ill need help
Yes it is 😄
How did you do the top panels. For me the pre existing holes didn’t align with thw holes on the top of the panel. They didnt align with the center support beam.
Check to see if the shed is square by measuring from corner to corner. They should be close.
I just finished mine today. The doors are quite tight and overlap. Any suggestions would be appreciated? I think i messed up that part.
You should be able to loosen up the doors so you can line them up.
I just bought an 8x10 that looks just like that from Amazon, but has the floor frame. Is it as flimsy as it looks? How has it held up so far?
It is flimsy, but once it’s put together, it’s not too bad it’s holding up really nice so far
You find it sturdy enough ? I read on the reviews that it's flimsy. Your thoughts ? Great video
Once it’s all bolted together I think it’s fine. It’s definitely light so you should anchor it down
I used my wife's hair dryer for removing the plastic works great
That is a awesome idea
The vents on top of the door are wrong, flip them or you gonna have water leaks
I will take a look. Thanks
@@mattsara2802what about the floor
This true?
When the rain falls up, that vent orientation should keep things dry in the front for sure.
😂😂😂 why did you cover up the advanced sunroof... good morning my amazing friends.. have a very blessed day
😂 good morning Jason
I will buy that one but first I will make a concrete floor. I have a smaller one and it is now 13 years old and still fine, but it is on a concrete floor.
Good job 👍🏽
That’s awesome. I have been thinking about moving it to pour concrete as well.
Keep an eye on the roof when you get all your snow this Winter. 🤔I'd rather see a video of the bees.😁
Yeah I am wondering about that. The bees are alright. We only had rain this spring really all summer until today. So no honey this year and I am feeding them to get them to bulk up.
How did you install the roof?? Been having trouble getting the holes to accurately line up. Idk if it’s because I assembled it incorrectly or what
If it is square, they will lineup
I'm having the same problem. My roof panels are not the same color as the ones in the video.
The middle holes are not lining up
What if you leave the plastic on?
I actually did on one piece on the back and it’s starting to peel and it looks really bad
Did you anchor it to the ground? If so how?
Yes I used big tent stakes
How long did it actually take to assemble???
Thanks
6 ish hours
Let’s see it all!
👍
Does it leak? I seen on some reviews that the roof leaked bad.
Nope not on me yet
Is it me or is the air vents upside down? The 1:57 timer.
😆 I went out and checked and they are all the same. 🤷♂️
What brand is that? Is it aoxun galvanized steel shed?
Patio well
Just built mine and door aren’t leveled , why??
You need to adjust the price that the hinges are on.
@@mattsara2802 switch them or just try and move them
I would just move the top or bottom
It's been a year, has the rust started yet?
Nope
Does the plastic need to come off
Yes. If you don’t the elements will do it and it won’t look that good
It looks really good but I would've left the plastic on for strength
😄
You think it’s in fit for a man cave like a gaming room?
Depends on the state. Here in Minnesota you would need to finish it to stay warm.
Is it really necessary to remove the plastic?
It won’t look good when it starts to peel
I appreciate the videos.Helped outd got my shed built in a day took a day to build the platform
Great video, thanks. I'm getting ready to buy one myself to put my motorcycles in. How many swear words were made while assembling? They say something isn't great unless at least 3 come out. 😂😂 But thanks again.
😂 just at the plastic 😆
How many hrs in total?
8 ish I think. Taking the plastic off was the longest.
Congrats! For doing the job yourself, What happen to your neighbaa like Arnold would say in helping you.
I'm struggling it's a nightmare 😅
Sorry to hear that
Wow!!! That’s a beautiful shed…Hi 👋 I’m a new subscriber and friend 😌🫶🏼
I cant get mine square so my roof is off by 2inches 😅
Oh no.
How do you stop it from leaking?
Leaking? Mine does not leak.
No foundation, just on the ground?!
Yup. Well it’s on gravel
That plastic looks like a real pain in the a**. Probably took as long to remove the plastic as building the shed. Nice looking
It was but worth it
That so called plastic is supposed to be the UV protective layer, so they say anyways.
No wayyyy it would look like crap if you leave it on
You need to turn the vents over so the rain will not got in the shed. Great job otherwise
Thanks. Someone said that right after I posted the video so I changed them and right after I did it rained. So glad I did.😃
Yes 🫣
This dude paying me $200 to install his shed. Bra I’m happy
Heck yeah that’s awesome
I just got a $1200 quote to have someone build mine
