I like how no one in this comment section seems to realize the reason Oberon brought up kids and liking blondes is because according to myths, fairies would sometimes swap out human babies with changelings and take the children back to the fairy world while the human parents were left caring for the changeling replacement, and blondes were more likely to be taken

Vitoria Emanuelle - In a Midsummer Night's Dream, Oberon wasn't jealous of the Indian boy, Oberon WANTED the Indian boy and Titania wouldn't give the Indian boy to him because the Indian boy was her dead friend's son and she promised to take care of him. Oberon was mad at Titania because she wouldn't give him the Indian boy, not because he was jealous that she was giving the Indian boy more attention. They had a quarrel over getting to have the Indian boy, which resulted in him putting the flower juice on her while she was asleep and so on......sorry I just finished reading it and yea...

i used to think elias was a wendigo too, but remember that in american mythology wendigos are humans that recurred to cannibalism and because of this they become monsters of endless hunger for human flesh, and elias can control his impulse of tasting human flesh, i think a better description of him until the author gives more info is an eldritch horror

Just... That moment Chise looks up at Elias, pomdering the shere thought of kids. The faint red blush om her face alomg with the music playing lightly to the tone of the setting, with Chise's outfit almost makes it look like she wouldve been seen as pregnant with Elias' child (or children, you never know sometimes) makes for such a perfect scene, and then they nail it home with Elias; a mage who seems to feel no real emotional connection for being so old and cold feels his stomach full of butterflies at the thought of living and loving happily with Chise. It sends a sense of happiness down my spine when i watch this scene over and over again.

It's pretty impressive how the artist and animators were able to make a skull so expressive. You can usually tell what mood Elias is in, and his opinions of his environment, even without the cartoony flexibility that most animations give skeleton characters.

Both physically and attitude-wise, Titania perfectly combines the qualities of a queen, a warrior and a mother. Chise would do well to learn from her, minus a few unfortunate prejudices.

Titania, being a fey, seems to be angry at that form of mislabeling, given what she says to Simon the priest.

It's really hard to choose who my favorite side character is in this anime, as it has so many interesting and likable ones, but ive gotta say Oberon made me smile the most. I love his silly and playful personality, and just lack of filter. It's amazing!

Those would be the most Metal babies ever.
This is some very dense foreshadowing. And believe me, this anime is packed with foreshadowing. They wouldn't just include this in if it were some ''extra'' scene for the fun of it And I am 99% sure they will most likely be having children in the future. Not anytime soon though. We don't know much anything yet about what Elias is. What creature he truly is. Wendigo, cursed, chimera, it hasn't been confirmed. Depending on what he actually is, might help the outcome of the spawns. I think that once its confirmed of his history and what he is, that they'd introduce some adorable babs aaa.

Three seasons in, maybe After four. At the end of Act 1 of the Manga, Chise was barely able to call him "husband" in fact, she could not say it. Instead she came up with Master. All the while wearing her brides mmmmhm stuff.

Here is my two cents: Shakespeare, who most likely have met Titania and Oberon, didn’t really like the King’s personality compared to his wife’s. So he separated Oberon’s personality into a character named, “Puck” in his play, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (which has always been my favorite play from him)

It likely wouldn't have any of elias' human face features since that's just an illusion made to resemble the priest as a base.
Maybe they would be humans that can turn into monsters like Elias,or viceversa...or humans with a skull in their face(just like Elias)

I love this anime so much and it has so many characters that I adore but Oberon has to be my favorite he's goofy and funny but can also be ridiculously intimidating in later episodes and I love how they designed his character. I could go on for ages about how awesome he is, I think I have a problem

It's legal as she is 15 and I believe where they are at is perfectly ok. Besides this is fantasy. No one is complaining that in twilight ,Edward was like way past the age of a grandpa and was indeed dating a very younger girl. That and we don't know how Elias ages. For all we know his years could be like dog years. For all we know he would literally be a child in his life
And with what we've learned about Elias and Chise beyond this scene, they're nowhere near even officially getting married. Need a lot of development for that.

There are characters that literally look like adults the day after they were born and making rules for every creature is just not possible

Never relax your guard around the fae, no matter how childish they act, they have crazy ass magical powers and no concept of human things like restraint.
And hold orange and purple morality they don't fully get our morality and we can't truly understand there morality and the FAE don't care much or if all if they violate human morality. The are wonderful and horrible and strange and all sort of other things.

He's not really part human. More he made a human shell for himself. The distinction between humans and the people of the barrows (fey) is mostly humans retain a physical shell and the fey lack such a thing, hence why you need the site or their attention to see them. Elias on the other hand can be seen by anyone because of his shell.

Puck was playful too, but Puck didn't often have ill will. It's kinda like Japanese Yokai folklore; you don't always know who's good and who's bad.
