Hazrat Amir Khusro who was a disciple of Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya and he wrote this Heartfelt Kalam in dedication to his Murshid
( Spiritual Master ).
Hazrat Nizamuddin Awliya was the Chief disciple and Khalifa (Successor) of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Gahjshakar of Pakpattan Sherif. Hazrat Baba Farid ( Begat Farid ) was the Chief disciple and Khalifa of Hazrat Qutubudin Bakhtiyar Kaki.
