I actually wasn’t into snail just because everything I tried was so lightweight. Then I tried the iUnik black snail cream. My skin really likes it so much. So, now I have to have that cream but that’s the only snail I use. iUnik black snail cream has definitely become a must have staple product in my routine. 🥰
I would love it if you try the Peach Slices Snail Rescue Blemish busting toner (the name is very misleading its just a hydrating snail toner). Peach slices is a sister company to Peach and Lily that is suppose to be affordable so the toner is only $14, they also have wash off mask called snail rescue intensive mask.

Now finishing my second bottle of CosRX Snail Mucin Power Essence. Based on my trips to South Korea, including the recent one in February which was quarantine-free, CosRx is sadly not as known or popular among Koreans as the foreign community, and Olive Young drugstore actually stocks up more of its cleansing and peeling products alongside the sheet masks. A longstanding snail mucin product in k-beauty is actually Nature Republic's snail line of products!
Cosrx only became popular because of the international blogging community about 10ish years ago, I think their success is what so many indie K-beauty brands have tried to recreate over the Hallyu wave. Nature Republic never really captured my attention much but I know they are a huge brand and even have some stores here in the states.

Personally, my use of K-beauty products has become more streamlined over the years due to aging and dry skin, so I hardly get boutique brands like Skinfood, Face Shop, Nature Republic, or even Missha and the Saem anymore. The last trip to Korea was quite a surprise since I got the Nature Republic Steam Cream and Snail Mucin cream although I never really budgeted for that! 😅
As someone who has lived in Korea for years, you are mistaken to say that Cosrx is not popular among Koreans. It is one of the most popular brands here. The Snail Mucin Power Essence is a cult classic.
Mizon; all in one snail repair cream and black snail all in one cream. Nice price, tube or pot options and really really good for my 40+ "used to be oily, now easily clogged and irritated - winter dry but not actually dry" -skin. Brown version is slightly more lightweight and black has bit of more oomph ingredient-wise, but I just keep both of these in stock because what ever issues or active combinations I'm doing, they will work with them. Both of them do contain niacemide so that is the only thing to remember with them. Spring/autum is the best season for stand alone moisturizer use, also slightly more than just gel moisturizer for summer and winter time I do need to add occlusive cream over them or loads of toner and hydrating serums underneath at least. :)

I LOVE the COSRX Snail Power Essence! I have a lifetime of sun damage written all over my face as my gen wasn't informed about SPF. I saw your video about snail some months back and purchased it on Amazon. I especially enjoy wearing this product immediately following my face shaving routine. I'm new to face shaving and have nicked very sensitive skin a couple times. This stuff feels SO luxe! The snail soothes my face and prevents any nicks from becoming a scarred up problem. I wear the ISN Tree green tea essence over it and there is NO REDNESS after shaving. None. My skin becomes insanely smooth, moisturized and hydrated. I love it. Hi Kelly the cosrx essence was something i used most of the time for three years, but unfortunately my skin has started reacting adversely to it. I did try the iunik serum about a year ago, but had a horrible reaction to it (probably one of the extracts). I'm a bit wary about the bee venom due to rosacea and eczema, but may try the sheet mask as a cheaper way to explore that formulation. All in all I missed that hydrating layer and have replaced it with an ectoin product (which my skin loves). For me snail was one of the real intros to what K beauty could offer and I did really enjoy it. i'm sad I'm not currently able to use it in my routine, but there are alternatives I am enjoying. I can’t believe I have missed the whole benton snail bee line. I only recently got the green tea toner and I love it. And the Centella calming gel is super good. Absolutely love the cosrx snail mucin line, minus the gel cleanser which has a strong lingering fragrance that I absolutely detest. Iunik cream is also nice but I’m still looking to find a better suited snail cream for my skin.
CosRX Essence and eye cream are favorites. I am working through the Mizon Essence but it is meh, however I like their eye patches. I have the Benton sheet mask on the way

Just a few days ago I was poking around to see if you had a Cosrx run down and your opinion on snail essence. I've used it before and had a nice plump hydrated calming result from snail mucin. Don't ask why I didn't re-purchase. Anyway, just bought a Cosrx kit and looked for a video you had not even loaded up yet! And here we are....one day later and wah-lah, my snail mucin asked for answers from Kelly! My sensitive, ruddy Irish skin on K beauty is just the happiest. Great barrier support! Many people are turned off by the prospect of putting snail on their face, the possibility of ingesting it would attract even less people, that might be the rationelle of the brands as to why not to do it 😅
I imagine most creators who are not actual doctors would refrain from such videos as to not get into any trouble by making possibly dangerous mistakes. Dr Dray, Dr Shereene Idriss, the Budget Dermatologist and even Cassandra Bankson have great videos on pregnancy safe skincare.
I love snail mucin products .But I've been using Mizon I love it and yes that eye cream I've had for about less than a week I love it . I love snail products .
I've never been terribly impressed with the plant based formulations, the texture of that serum is nice and plumping but as far as well aging benefits, I didn't find it hard hitting.

Remember the only "best" that exists is what's best for you. Choose based on your budget, the texture (cosrx is a little more moisturizing) and the ingredients (cosrx might be a little more well-aging focused with more peptides, mizon is a great well rounded cream).
Idk if you tried the new Soo good feel so calm toner pads but I got them last week and been trying them out and they are really good and hydrating also the pads are huge and filled with toner make good diy mask, I really like them. Also I think it will be great for spring and summer.

I also am really leaning into treating skin like it needs to be nourished and protected instead of stripped by actives and stuff, so often. I still love my AHA and BHA and actives too, but I think I need to simplify things overall and just be more gentle ♡

I noticed my skin was really angry with me when I would try all the different exfoilants trying to find the perfect ones now I think a product with low levels of the exfoilants are best for me and hydrating repairing skincare is the way to go.

Willow bark contains salicin which is where salicylic acid comes from. It is very effective for people with sensitivities to other kinds of chemical exfoliators. Also for folks who are just starting to dabble in chemical exfoliators. Willow bark is gentle and works very well to combat acne.
I love and hate snail. I love it for all the benefits such as brightening skin tone, calming and soothing, but I absolutely hate it for drying my skin out. I have combo/oily skin type, btw, but snail is obviously not my cup of tea. Using niacinamide products instead.
