When my skin was out of whack 3 years ago, the only skincare I had was a facial wash, toner and the snail essence, and it really calmed and saved my skin that time.
I had a similar skin episode where everything burned by skin, to the point of swelling, and peeling. And the Cosrx SNAIL Essence and gel cream helped calm, hydrate and repair my skin. I also recommend the Aveeno CALM and RESTORE Cream and Pumpkin mask. But the accompanying serum stung a little, so I mainly recommend the CREAM. The mask is nice after my skin barrier was 90% recovered.
I used the essence and the cream 3 days in a row and it dried my skin out terribly and made it breakout like never before. I wonder why but I love the way it did the first 2 days. I have extremely sensitive skin.

I have mature dry skin with the complication of rosacea. I am fairly new to skincare, especially Korean skincare, but I am so impressed with everything I have tried. I took a chance on the Advanced 92 All in One Cream during a Black Friday sale in 2021. I was afraid I would hate the texture or it wouldn’t work for my skin. I was so wrong. I love the 92 cream, it absorbs quickly, it makes my skin look luminous and hydrated, it helps heal areas where my rosacea is especially red/uncomfortable. I use a thin layer of the 92 cream and a thin layer of the Skin 1004 Centella Soothing Cream (which is more of a gel) under a more occlusive moisturizer. I was introduced to the Power Essence more recently and it did not disappoint. The Power Essence is such a versatile product, I have used it as an essence and a serum, it absorbs even faster than the 92 Cream, both work to hydrate my skin and work well under or over other products. I haven’t tried anything else in the line, but the hydrogel eye patches you talked about very last are on my wish list while I watch for a really good sale price.
This is one of the reasons I love Asian skincare. You don’t always need something that’s supposed to do 100 things(so they say) in your serums or routines. I buy these one ingredient products especially for when my skin doesn’t like me. It’s nice to be able to pick products that I know will do what I need because they have minimal ingredients. I’ve always done skincare but now with Asian skincare I feel like a mad scientist putting together my potions 😂😂 it really is my happy place 😊
If you get basic plastic wrap like we use for food storage.. cut into 3 inch wide strips.. you can apply a bit extra of the snail 96 and then just put the plastic over where you want it for like 5-10 mins. it works great 👍
I still use the snail essence. Been using it for 7 years. It does all those things she mentioned. It's awesome. I use it on the top of all my serums as a moisturizer.

This is an older video but FYI, Snail Secretion Filtrate doesn't mean snail secrete. It's primarily solvent with an added, unknown amount of actual snail secrete. COSRX doesn't disclose the percentage, so we don't know if the amount of actual snail secrete is as low as 1%. As such, consumers are misled thinking it's 96% snail secrete when it's mostly solvent. A Korean study/documentary available on YT was done on this subject and their scientists found the percentage of actual snail secrete was insignificant.
That could be why i personally don’t think it does much to my skin. I’ve been using their snail essence after their hyaluronic essence and before their oil free gel lotion. I also have used the snail eye cream and that seemed nice the first week but after that my under eyes seemed dryer. Ugh. However, if I do have some stinging going on after I put something on my face, I quick grab some snail essence and put it on the area and it immediately stops the sting… I don’t know what to think of it. I’ve used the face lotion not snail but the oil free one for years under makeup and love it. Mn winters are becoming a challenge for my skin in the last few years and that lotion isn’t enough.
The original snail essence and dual essence are two of my fave all time products. I’ll go back to the dual essence once I finish the original (I love niacinamide). I’m interested to try the snail cream one day for my oily skin

The essence changed my skin! I only tried it a few months ago for the first time as I only started skincare a couple years ago, and it’s amazing for my dry skin that has started to get fine lines and dehydration. Will never be without it! I like the all in one as well but for my dry skin I need another cream on top for my dry skin

I just ordered their mini kit 🤩 Love the eye cream, one of the best out there Love the face cream but I gotta say as oily skin I can only use it at night at cold months. I really sweat with it in summer. Love the essence and I keep getting it in and out of my rutine, one bottle can last for at least 8 months for me (night use) Haven't tried anything else yet but I can tell I won't be using the cleanser or the masks.

I love using my Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence mixed into my MicroCurrent gel when doing a Micro Current treatment as it really conducts the current well and hydrates like nothing else, the Microcurrent helps to push it into the skin beautifully. Also thank you for the Illiyoon ATO Ceramide cream recommendation - OMG I am in LOVE!!
Oh thank you for sharing this! I just started to use the Medicube EMS device which has it's own gel-serum to help conduct the EMS into the skin but I'm not super fond of it, will need to try the cosrx essence in its place! And I'm so glad to hear the Illiyoon is working well for your skin, it's so good!
@@KellyDriscoll I also add some Glycerin to the snail mucin, Isntree aloe gel or the Holika Holika aloe gel, sometimes I add a gel based moisturiser like the Bonajour Green Tea Hydrabomb, as long as there is no oil it will conduct the microcurrent.

The snail mucin power essence if my holy grail product for years. I again finished another one and it does last for long time. I use it on my face and neck, after toner, before serums. I love its wound healing abilities. Whenever I have occasional pimple, I always use it. Or when my skin is irritated. Or when I want hydration.... well, basically I use it every day :D I am now waiting my order of all in one cream to arrive. I want to try that one as well. I have oily skin and hoping it will be a nice summer-moisturizer. It does sound very good. I tried also BENTON Snail Bee High Content Essence, because I generally like all Benton products. And I did like this one as well. BUT I still prefer Cosrx one over that one. Cosrx just feels more... somehow. :)
@@sheeshee3366 It is in a matte plastic pump bottle. It does not help to remove acne. I suggest you try adapalene / differin for that if you have acne. But snail mucin does help with post-acne blemishes, to heal them faster.
@@cashmerehazel21 I prefer the essence over cream. The cream did not really find a good spot in my routine. It did not fill the spot of a moisturizer, it was not enough even for my oily skin. So I ended up using it basically as pre-moisturizer. And layered another moisturizer over it. The pump bottle & essence is way batter. After I finished the cream, I purchased another essence.
Now I need get the cream. I have been using the essence religiously for a couple of years. I tried the cleanser but the smell was off putting and it lingered so I gave it to a friend.
So far I’ve tried Iunik Black Snail Restore Serum and Cosrx 96 Snail Mucin Essence Both are very good but I’ve been seeing better results with Cosrx I’ve been using it PM after toner and before Retinal or Azelaic Acid serums I have Benton Snail Bee Essence to try
I had my eye on the travel size to sample the products for so long last year but end up getting only the all in one cream and eye cream on your recommendation . They are so good I have ordered the dual essence to try next. I was happy I didn’t get the cleanser as I thought it over a bit expensive for a cleanser.

I was wondering if this caused the breakout? I stopped using it, used benzoyl peroxide for a few days. Then continued with my klairs toner n moisturiser. I’m scared to use this essence again. I don’t even know if it caused it…😢
I just started using the eye patches. I’m 55ish and I can’t believe how well these work. Just the first time using them, my lines were definitely less visible. Do you know if they can be used at night before bed and/or worn while sleeping? My morning routine doesn’t allow me the time to use them before work. Thank you ❤
You can use them at night! I wouldn't sleep in them, they won't stay on and the hydration only lasts about 20-30 minutes, any longer they may start to dry you out!

Do you have any recommendations for moisturizers? I have “normal” skin that leans towards dry after using cleanser (maybe I should use an oil cleanser instead of foaming?). Cosrx’s pimple patch and blemish cream are holy grails of mine but their Snail 92 All In One Cream leaves my skin feeling tacky and dry.
I just ordered the 6 peptide serum today. I am wondering since I use tretinoin every night, let it sit on my skin for about an hour then follow up with serums, then the snail mucin then moisturizer. So my question is would it be tretinoin then the 6 peptides then the serums ????? Hopefully it will play nice with tret. Anyone know?
Hi. I have been using the snail essence in the morning (1 month) and it has gone on as the last layer before moisturizer. My 1st layer on clean dry skin is l-ascorbic acid 20%(timeless) to maintain the pH- yes I tolerate it well. I am reading conflicting reports that if using snail essence, it should go on before vit c and some say after. What is your take on this, please?
You can layer it however it works best for you skin, snail will not contradict your vitamin C! Some outdated advice says vitamin C has be applied first and even recommend you wait 20 minutes before applying anything else. The advice is based on the idea of vitamin c needing a certain pH to perform correctly, which it does but modern vitamin C is formulated to work knowing you're using other products with it.
There is no Advanced Snail Toner available from Cosrx at this time. Some people mislabel the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence as the Mucin Power Essence Toner, but they aren the same product.
So will L-ascorb, such as Skincueticals CE ferulic cancel out if I use the snail mucin All in one cream? Would using texahexydexcyl derivitive vitsmin c withe the All in one cream be better or also cancel degrade as well?

Ulta had a sale 50% off the snail products. I missed it 😩. Cosrx is not expensive but still.
I know! I bought my 92 all in one cream a few weeks before the sale, so I missed out too!
Amazon's Prices are better than Ulta and other places.
I prefer the benton snail essence better but I really want to try the dual essence next time

COSRX clearly advises not to use the all-in-one cream around the eyes and mouth, so using it as a 'cheap eyecream' may actually be harmful

Do you have any recommendations for moisturizers? I have “normal” skin that leans towards dry after using cleanser (maybe I should use an oil cleanser instead of foaming?). Cosrx’s pimple patch and blemish cream are holy grails of mine but their Snail 92 All In One Cream leaves my skin feeling tacky and dry.
I have same skin,i personally use bioderma atoderm cream over hyaluronic acid and it works for me
The cream is not moisturizing enough for my normal skin, thus I always mix in extra virgin olive oil as an occlusive and it works....

There's no reason why you can't use the entire line of Cosrx snail together, only depends on how much weight your skin can handle/absorb.

The all in one cream is light enough for oily skin, imo. You do not have to use both products together.

Essence would go first based on texture, always layer your products from thinnest to thickest texture.
I just ordered the 6 peptide serum today. I am wondering since I use tretinoin every night, let it sit on my skin for about an hour then follow up with serums, then the snail mucin then moisturizer.
So my question is would it be tretinoin then the 6 peptides then the serums ????? Hopefully it will play nice with tret. Anyone know?

That's true! Human skin pH is about 5.5 so it's beneficial to stay around that pH!

I can't decide between the Cosrx and the Benton. Which absorbs better? I have an issue with absorbency.
I'd recommend the benton, it's a thinner gel texture that's more hydrating and less moisturizing, I think you'd enjoy the texture!

Snail mucin is derived from snails. Snails are vegan themselves, but not their mucin, unfortunately.

Hi. I have been using the snail essence in the morning (1 month) and it has gone on as the last layer before moisturizer.
My 1st layer on clean dry skin is l-ascorbic acid 20%(timeless) to maintain the pH- yes I tolerate it well.
I am reading conflicting reports that if using snail essence, it should go on before vit c and some say after. What is your take on this, please?
You can layer it however it works best for you skin, snail will not contradict your vitamin C! Some outdated advice says vitamin C has be applied first and even recommend you wait 20 minutes before applying anything else. The advice is based on the idea of vitamin c needing a certain pH to perform correctly, which it does but modern vitamin C is formulated to work knowing you're using other products with it.

There is no Advanced Snail Toner available from Cosrx at this time. Some people mislabel the Advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence as the Mucin Power Essence Toner, but they aren the same product.

Lol never mind it was the eye that has peptide copper in it bit the 92 All in one cream. I just heard copper peptides and not product then looked up ingredient on incicoder. Great video!
