There are sooo many unbelieveble effective ingredients on the market. Please make a video of alternatives or tell the WHOLE STORY for an differentiated picture. Addendum: I suffer from premature skin aging due to long cortisone treatment, etc. I have found a few things that have helped me and I keep looking, but no longer at COSRX. Please be moral where you can and don't forget that there are things that make you ugly as a human being.

For decades, charging big bucks, turning into conglomerates! Personally, I would like to believe or better SEE any product out there that is not tested on animals. The Ordinary is pretty cheap so I used their products for testing to get a grip what my skin needed and then went off to test other brands without feeling I loose money on products that was completely wrong for me. If it wasn’t for James I honest don’t think I would have consider to try The Ordinary from the beginning since it wasn’t a hyped brand in Sweden by that time (2 yrs ago) among ppl my age. Niaciamide was a game changer for me! (I use TO 10%+Zink1%) I always put it on first no matter products use after. Then I tested which strength of Retinol that suits me, went as far as 2% but that was to strong so 0,5 is perfect for me (use 1-2 times a week mixed with Niaciamide) this was a process that took some weeks but it’s worth it. C-vitamin mixed with face moisturiser (CeraVe moisturising cream fro dry/very dry skin) Eye cream (Indy beauty) morning/evening for moist and some firm and firming eyepatches a couple a times/week Now BHA and AHA products I used for years since I like Korean beauty products but again, thanks to J-man, I tried Beauty Bay’s Acid trip exfoliating toner AHA+PHA and loves it. First toner that works for me and I’ve tried many ones on and off since age 14! I don’t use all products at the same time- it’s REALLY important to educated which products that works wonder together and which ones to avoid mixing. Also learn how often you need ex. Retinol- some ppl use it everyday, others like me 1-2 week. My skintype is combination, dry with some dehydrated areas it was a journey to learn what it needed but as soon you are trough that- it’s easier and if you’re into skincare- funnier ride to jump on 😃 B.J (Before James 😂) I often felt the need of facemaskes to clear up my skin but since I got a better suited skin routine my need for them have sunken. Mostly it’s wintertime when my skin feels like Sahara I sleep with Eucerin Aquaphor Soothering skin balm all over my face (talk about glazed donut 🍩) Hope it helped!
I have been using the snail 92 cream for over 3 years and I will never be tired of recommending it😍 It has literally transformed my skin from ungodly oily to more or less normal
@@labbie1148 Whatever the climate, the All in One Snail cream is not enough as a moisturizer on its own. It has to be locked in with your regular one. Otherwise, there go both, trans epidermal water loss and its such great healing benefits, which is its primary purpose. Snail secretion was initially used for cancer patients before the cosmetic industry decided to use it in their skin care products. I use it with my retinol (and moisturizer as the final step). No purging. No irritations.
I'm a big fan of the snail 96 essence after upgrading from the Inkey List Hylaronic acid. It basically combines HA and various peptides, and is just nice for helping my dry skin be less dry.
Could you please let me know how you deal with a dull/less "radiant" skin after applying a moisturizer / using the snail mucin? I have extremely dry skin, and when I moisturize heavily, the natural glow of my skin kinda goes away. How do you guys deal with that?
Most of my skincare routine is Cosrx! Their Cica line has helped calm my rosacea so much! The serum is a must have for me! And their Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel Cream has made my oily skin so much more manageable. It's super hydrating without being greasy and doesn't make me feel so matte that it feels dry. It's truly life changing.

@@rachrainbow5817 I used to have pretty severe rosacea with papules and pustules and nothing got rid of it. I had to see a dermatologist and they prescribed me a mixture of adapalene and benzoyl peroxide that got rid of the worst of it. But I still have pretty noticable redness. My skincare routine consists the cosrx cica cleanser and then a water mist and then I use Dear Klair's supple preparation facial toner (unscented) then mist again, use Cosrx Cica serum, and then use the green tea aqua soothing gel cream from them as well. It's definitely taken time for my skin to calm down and I've tried so many other products but my skin likes these best! I hope you find something that works for you! James's recommendations have definitely helped me most! I personally stick to mostly korean skincare as well cuz I find they work best, and have better ingredients, and the best prices.
@@OliviaGrace1117 For toner, I highly recommend the Fundamental Ampule Mist by Dear Klair, it is SO SO hydrating and yet gentle to the skin and helps with my rosacea as well.
I have combo/dry skin and my dry skin is suuuuper dry so it's hard to find moisturizer that is thick enough to hydrate all day but not suffocate me in a slippery sweaty face. I also have redness on my cheeks, around nostruls, and chin so it cant flare that up either. I've been using the COSRX Snail Mucin All in One Cream for 4 days and WOWWWW. I am sooooo helplessly in love with it. It is that perfect middle ground kind of moisturizer that I need, reasonably priced, and a bonus: it gives ny face this plumped glow and soft feel that is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Not to mention my redness has calmed down soooo much omfg! I will be using this everyday foreverrrr!

I was suffering with bad acne (in my late 20’s) and was so desperate to find a solution I came across James’ channel. I listened to their advice and my skin is sooo much better. So I’m no expert but a psoriasis sufferer too. The cerave psoriasis cream is a must have for me, I use it mainly on my body but also on any spots that flare up on my face too. The illiyoon ceramide concentrate cream is fabulous and nourishing, love that for a face cream. Keeping the skin hydrated AND moisturized really helps my plaques from getting out of control so I like to layer hydrating toners etc but as you probably know unfortunately sometimes we can do everything right and still get flare ups. Be careful using any products with EGF as they actually can cause flare ups! Keep moisturizers dotted round the house and try to apply to your problem areas minimum once a day. Oh and also look into whether you live in a hard water area. The heavy minerals etc can really do a number on drying out your skin further. I don’t know if any of that was helpful, I tend to ramble lol but at the end of the day remember it is am immune disorder so there is only so much we can control or topically treat 💕

Cosrx snail power essence 96 is great. I use it after cleansing and toner but, before my moisturizers! I could tell a genuine difference after about 2 months of using it.💖
Sorry I'm late to the party. ;-) I use COSRX "BHA Blackhead Power Liquid" + the "Two in One Poreless Power Liquid". The second one works a charm, I have never had smaller or more even pores! I find both very smooth and cooling to put on. Not sure about the Blackhead one, but it doesn't make things worse. I also like their pimple patches!
The Cosrx snail muccin moisturizer works great for fading acne scars and pigmentation. However, I do not recommend it at all for people with dry skin. I have very dry cheeks and my cheeks still felt really dry after applying it.

I have the whole Advanced Snail System and I can say that my skin feels smooth, toned and it glows like James skin. I don’t apply makeup because I spend part of my working hours in construction sites. When I come back to the office I clean my face and hidrate with the snail system. It just feel good and lite, nothing sticky. I just love the products and the way my face glows.
I live for Cosrx skin care and my skin adores 🤩I use the Whitehead power, snail essence, the ampoule, the snail cream and pimple patches and I love them all 🥰 the snail cream is so weird for a gloopy product it just seems to absorbs so quickly... 🐌 If I attempt any other brands my skin it like 'beeeetch where is the snail trail??..don't make me give you a massive whitehead just before you are going..coz I will..and you know I will make it huge and painful' 🌋
James you’ve got me addicted to CosRx!!!! I’ve got 4 products from them and now I can’t remember what I used before them and who even cares because CosRx is my jam now!!!
The CosRX snail cream is phenomenal! I don't want to attribute it to miracles, but it really is "reparative." The sticky messiness of it was a bit odd to me at first, but if I ever have a few spots where I picked or scratched, I know I can slather the cream on and wakeup with a noticably clearer complexion. I love using it when I'm feeling extra dehydrated, at night, or during the winter months, and switch it up with the Mizon All In One Snail Repair Cream during warmer months or when my skin just wants a subtle, light dose of hydration. On the other hand, I initially fell in love with the CosRX snail essence, as well, but I found that, over time, it can make my skin a bit flaky around the eyes and U zone if I use it too much. And the BHA liquid didn't really seem to do anything for me, no matter how much I wanted it to work. Can't win them all, I guess.
When I first started getting into skincare during quarantine, Cosrx we're some of my first products I ordered. I found James's channel during that time and that's how I learned about Cosrx. I was obviously new to everything, especially AHAs and BHAs so I took his advise and started with the Cosrx blackhead BHA and the whitehead AHA toner and it was perfect! Now the snail essence is something I have and will continue to repurchase over and over again and is an absolute must in my routine. It lasts for ever by the way! Long story short, Cosrx very quickly became one of my favorite brands and what really introduced me to skincare thanks to James!

The dual essence is a tad richer than the snail 96 and it takes a bit longer to sink in. Personally, it's a bit more hydrating for my skin than the 96 one. I suspect it might be a bit too much once summer fully rolls around here, combined with all my other products.

I would just use a gentle cleanser (at night only), a hydrating and/or soothing toner/essence/serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen!! If you need recommendations I can definitely give you some!!

I’m so glad you made this video. I’d stopped using the snail cream because I found it a bit of a faff to put on (lazy, I know!) but I started again a couple of weeks ago after watching this and my skin has improved so much. It’s the only new thing I’ve been doing. I should say that I do use prescription tretinoin every other night but then when I use the snail cream and rice overnight mask together on the nights I don’t use tretinoin, my skin looks incredible in the morning. They’re by far my favourite cosrx products.

I am using cosrx snail mucin products and the galactomyces essence for about...guess its must be 7years now? I am not quite sure, but for sure more than 5years. And it makes a huge difference! My skin loves it and I have not a single wrinkle and my skin still looks like it did in my 20s (I am in my 30s now)

I've bought a few COSRX products due to your videos on the brand but I am curious in what order I should be using them. I bought - the whitehead power liquid, the clarifying toner, the advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, the rice overnight mask (obvs at the end for sleeping), an acne liquid, and the Full fit Propolis Light Ampoule. I need to try the cleanser and acne patches next.
Their Aloe spf is my favourite! It is sooo good for warmer months as other brands either break my out or iritate my eyes. I think I on my 4th or 5th tube at the moment.
The serum is coming in May’s Allure box. I’ve never used a snail mucin, so I was thinking about skipping because, well, it seems a little gross. But everyone seems to love it, so I’m excited to give it a try!

B.J (Before James 😂) I often felt the need of facemaskes to clear up my skin but since I got a better suited skin routine my need for them have sunken. Mostly it’s wintertime when my skin feels like Sahara I sleep with Eucerin Aquaphor Soothering skin balm all over my face (talk about glazed donut 🍩)

@@labbie1148 Whatever the climate, the All in One Snail cream is not enough as a moisturizer on its own. It has to be locked in with your regular one. Otherwise, there go both, trans epidermal water loss and its such great healing benefits, which is its primary purpose. Snail secretion was initially used for cancer patients before the cosmetic industry decided to use it in their skin care products. I use it with my retinol (and moisturizer as the final step). No purging. No irritations.
I'm a big fan of the snail 96 essence after upgrading from the Inkey List Hylaronic acid. It basically combines HA and various peptides, and is just nice for helping my dry skin be less dry.

Most of my skincare routine is Cosrx! Their Cica line has helped calm my rosacea so much! The serum is a must have for me! And their Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel Cream has made my oily skin so much more manageable. It's super hydrating without being greasy and doesn't make me feel so matte that it feels dry. It's truly life changing.

@@rachrainbow5817 I used to have pretty severe rosacea with papules and pustules and nothing got rid of it. I had to see a dermatologist and they prescribed me a mixture of adapalene and benzoyl peroxide that got rid of the worst of it. But I still have pretty noticable redness. My skincare routine consists the cosrx cica cleanser and then a water mist and then I use Dear Klair's supple preparation facial toner (unscented) then mist again, use Cosrx Cica serum, and then use the green tea aqua soothing gel cream from them as well. It's definitely taken time for my skin to calm down and I've tried so many other products but my skin likes these best! I hope you find something that works for you! James's recommendations have definitely helped me most! I personally stick to mostly korean skincare as well cuz I find they work best, and have better ingredients, and the best prices.

I have combo/dry skin and my dry skin is suuuuper dry so it's hard to find moisturizer that is thick enough to hydrate all day but not suffocate me in a slippery sweaty face. I also have redness on my cheeks, around nostruls, and chin so it cant flare that up either. I've been using the COSRX Snail Mucin All in One Cream for 4 days and WOWWWW. I am sooooo helplessly in love with it. It is that perfect middle ground kind of moisturizer that I need, reasonably priced, and a bonus: it gives ny face this plumped glow and soft feel that is unlike anything I've ever experienced. Not to mention my redness has calmed down soooo much omfg! I will be using this everyday foreverrrr!

I was suffering with bad acne (in my late 20’s) and was so desperate to find a solution I came across James’ channel. I listened to their advice and my skin is sooo much better. I have the snail mucin and also a cica balm. They are my go to if I get a break out or skin that’s inflamed or irritated. Tysm James ☺️☺️🥳
As someone who struggles with dry skin (psoriasis), and crazy flare ups, can you do a video that would help with this. Would be greatly appreciated.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽.
So I’m no expert but a psoriasis sufferer too. The cerave psoriasis cream is a must have for me, I use it mainly on my body but also on any spots that flare up on my face too. The illiyoon ceramide concentrate cream is fabulous and nourishing, love that for a face cream. Keeping the skin hydrated AND moisturized really helps my plaques from getting out of control so I like to layer hydrating toners etc but as you probably know unfortunately sometimes we can do everything right and still get flare ups. Be careful using any products with EGF as they actually can cause flare ups! Keep moisturizers dotted round the house and try to apply to your problem areas minimum once a day. Oh and also look into whether you live in a hard water area. The heavy minerals etc can really do a number on drying out your skin further. I don’t know if any of that was helpful, I tend to ramble lol but at the end of the day remember it is am immune disorder so there is only so much we can control or topically treat 💕

Whenever you talk about COSRX, I am always happy because I love their products. I’ve been using Korean skincare for almost 3 years and I can always rely on COSRX when I get breakouts or my skin doesn’t like a product I’m testing out
Cosrx snail power essence 96 is great. I use it after cleansing and toner but, before my moisturizers! I could tell a genuine difference after about 2 months of using it.💖
Cosrx is my favourite, it actually works and doesn't cause an allergicreaction, and I'm allergic to almost everything
Sorry I'm late to the party. ;-) I use COSRX "BHA Blackhead Power Liquid" + the "Two in One Poreless Power Liquid". The second one works a charm, I have never had smaller or more even pores! I find both very smooth and cooling to put on.
Not sure about the Blackhead one, but it doesn't make things worse. I also like their pimple patches!
The Cosrx snail muccin moisturizer works great for fading acne scars and pigmentation. However, I do not recommend it at all for people with dry skin. I have very dry cheeks and my cheeks still felt really dry after applying it.

I have the whole Advanced Snail System and I can say that my skin feels smooth, toned and it glows like James skin. I don’t apply makeup because I spend part of my working hours in construction sites. When I come back to the office I clean my face and hidrate with the snail system. It just feel good and lite, nothing sticky. I just love the products and the way my face glows.

I live for Cosrx skin care and my skin adores 🤩I use the Whitehead power, snail essence, the ampoule, the snail cream and pimple patches and I love them all 🥰 the snail cream is so weird for a gloopy product it just seems to absorbs so quickly... 🐌

James you’ve got me addicted to CosRx!!!! I’ve got 4 products from them and now I can’t remember what I used before them and who even cares because CosRx is my jam now!!!
The CosRX snail cream is phenomenal! I don't want to attribute it to miracles, but it really is "reparative." The sticky messiness of it was a bit odd to me at first, but if I ever have a few spots where I picked or scratched, I know I can slather the cream on and wakeup with a noticably clearer complexion. I love using it when I'm feeling extra dehydrated, at night, or during the winter months, and switch it up with the Mizon All In One Snail Repair Cream during warmer months or when my skin just wants a subtle, light dose of hydration.
On the other hand, I initially fell in love with the CosRX snail essence, as well, but I found that, over time, it can make my skin a bit flaky around the eyes and U zone if I use it too much. And the BHA liquid didn't really seem to do anything for me, no matter how much I wanted it to work. Can't win them all, I guess.
When I first started getting into skincare during quarantine, Cosrx we're some of my first products I ordered. I found James's channel during that time and that's how I learned about Cosrx. I was obviously new to everything, especially AHAs and BHAs so I took his advise and started with the Cosrx blackhead BHA and the whitehead AHA toner and it was perfect! Now the snail essence is something I have and will continue to repurchase over and over again and is an absolute must in my routine. It lasts for ever by the way! Long story short, Cosrx very quickly became one of my favorite brands and what really introduced me to skincare thanks to James!
I recently got serious into skin care bc I kept complaining about acnes and blackheads to my friend and she told me about proper skin care. Then I started to look up about it and found you and I couldn't stop watching your stuff! Just a bit over a week since my "proper" skin care, I'm excited to see the result in a month!
Whitehead Power Liquid is amazing suffered for years from whiteheads round the chin/mouth area even worse since wearing masks it only took about a week to see a huge difference really worth the money for me and it lasts so long!

I just wanted to say that the COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All in one Cream is REALLY an all-in-one cream! I just recently developed patches of eczema on both of my hands (because of frequent use of hand sanitizer) and the only thing that helped to smooth my hand skin is this cream. Agree on the BHA power liquid. Way better than the Paula’s Choice. I’ve tried a few others too but CosRX win it. Gentle but does the job 🙌🏻

If you are from the UK, you can get samples of Cosrx products on Ebay. I am not sure if they ship outside of the UK, but I was glad to pay for the Cosrx BHA sample rather than full price.
I adore snail repair creams. I used to order them from Korea and delivery cost a fortune but Cosrx is in Boots! Have loved it just as much as my previous fave brand. 100% worth the price tag.

The dual essence is a tad richer than the snail 96 and it takes a bit longer to sink in. Personally, it's a bit more hydrating for my skin than the 96 one. I suspect it might be a bit too much once summer fully rolls around here, combined with all my other products.

I would just use a gentle cleanser (at night only), a hydrating and/or soothing toner/essence/serum, moisturizer, and sunscreen!! If you need recommendations I can definitely give you some!!

I’m so glad you made this video. I’d stopped using the snail cream because I found it a bit of a faff to put on (lazy, I know!) but I started again a couple of weeks ago after watching this and my skin has improved so much. It’s the only new thing I’ve been doing. I should say that I do use prescription tretinoin every other night but then when I use the snail cream and rice overnight mask together on the nights I don’t use tretinoin, my skin looks incredible in the morning. They’re by far my favourite cosrx products.

I am using cosrx snail mucin products and the galactomyces essence for about...guess its must be 7years now? I am not quite sure, but for sure more than 5years. And it makes a huge difference! My skin loves it and I have not a single wrinkle and my skin still looks like it did in my 20s (I am in my 30s now)
So many brands owe you for their customers. The people who watch your videos are a little older and/or actually watching to learn, instead of many other skin care videos that just seem like performances...like that “blood” looking thing from the ordinary.
What you tell people actually has an impact...I’m not just watching cause it looks cool...I’m watching cause I’m like “I need a repairing moisturizer...I’m going to see what James Welsh recommends”. I trust your opinion way more than just going online and looking at some top 10 list from Cosmo.

I've bought a few COSRX products due to your videos on the brand but I am curious in what order I should be using them. I bought - the whitehead power liquid, the clarifying toner, the advanced Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence, the rice overnight mask (obvs at the end for sleeping), an acne liquid, and the Full fit Propolis Light Ampoule. I need to try the cleanser and acne patches next.
Their Aloe spf is my favourite! It is sooo good for warmer months as other brands either break my out or iritate my eyes. I think I on my 4th or 5th tube at the moment.
