The Cosrx Snail Mucin cream was one of the first products (along with the iconic snail mucin essence) that got me into K-Beauty and was a HG for me. I stopped using it a couple yrs ago as I wanted to experiment with other K-Beauty moisturizers. I recently repurchased it a few months ago and OMG i forgot how much i loved this product!!!
@@kpipatel7862 Well I use most of the stuff James had in his video - love the snail mucin line - the snail mucin essence is an HG for me, and I love the all in one cream that I just got - so hydrating! I really rate the Klairs supple preparation toner - this I use every day and is great, also hydrating. The rice toner was the first K-Beauty produc I ever bought, all because of James! I had such dehydrated skin in the first lockdown (UK) and this brought it back to life. Rice toner and snail mucin are just amazing!

The I’m from rice toner is one of my HOLY GRAILs, it’s just so good. I usually only use basics, but I love this toner. It just makes my skin look beautifullll and brightened and hydrates it well! Totally recommend it!
Hi how do you use it? I use it after applying my exfoliator and i find it making my skin feeling oily that i don't like. I'm not sure if i'm using it correctly.
@@aLxies19 this toner is more moisturizing than most toners so it feels more heavy and emollient on the skin. If you have very oily skin, this might not be the best toner for you, unless you use just some drops. Maybe try the Soon Jung relief toner, it’s very watery but still delivers humectants to hydrate the skin well :)

@Akeelzzz To be fair, that’s a really good shout. I’ve used this when my skin isn’t irritated but agitated, just not quite right but not sore (if that makes sense)?! I only have a little bottle of that since I don’t need to use it much but do second that recommendation. I love the I’m From brand.
The illiyoon ato concentrate cream moisturizer is also SUCH A STAPLE! especially for people with sensitive skin. It’s wonderful, moisturizes well but dries down to a subtle velvety finish! Makes my skin look so smooth

I bought the Klairs Unscented Supple Preparation toner after your recommendation this winter and it saved my skin! It was so dry and bothered and it just instantly made my skin feel good again, it also made my skin more even over time. It lasting forever is also a bonus! So thank you :D
My skin had shown so much improvement since using K-beauty skincare. I’m 48 so have used a lot of different ones over the years and never had my skin looked so good since using Korean/ Japanese skincare this last 2 years. Such a huge improvement, I’ll never go go back to western stuff again. Cosrx is one of my favourite brands ever.
I completely agree with you! I'm 50 this year and many years I did use all most expensive European/American brands. I did like some products within but when I've been introduced to Cosrx I didn't even look back EVER! Now, I'm enjoying a combination of products from Cosrx, Barulab, Manyo, Some by Mi, Aromatica, I'm From, Huxley where the total cost of all is equal to the price of one small jar of hydrating cream from those expensive brands.

Im from rice toner changed my life from having super dry skin to balanced skin and no more acne. For everyone who has dry skin plzzzz do your self a favor and buy this. Skin can break out from being too dry believe it or not! Its a irreplaceable must in my skincare routine.
I love Kbeauty !!!! I love everything about it. For example, using "green tea leaf water" instead of just "water". Or, their usage of things such as rice, green tea, mugwort, snail mucine, or coix seed extract..however they're much more beneficial ingredients they bring into their skin care. Their SPF is also fantastic. I honestly think I will stay with Kbeauty, forever.
Totally agree. Just look at some of the more expensive western skincare and at the ingredients they promote only to find them below the 1% line. Look at Korean and they are the first or second ingredient on the list at 60% to 90%+ . Korean= great innovative skincare that works and at a great price point too. I use western glycolic acid, vitamin C everything else Korean.
Because of you and your obsession with Cosrx, I was able to help a client with obsessive compulsive itching and picking stemming from her anxiety. Hopefully she’s trying the entire centella line 🤞🏻

I struggled with those tiny closed bumps in my face for years and spent so much money on skin care. I came across one of your videos and decided to try Cosrx/K beauty products. At my 32 yo my skin never looked so flawless and hydrated. I have almost all Cosrx products. I get Cosrx from TJMaxx and Marshalls for 1/4 the price. I went to Ulta and they had the Blackhead serum for $50 and at TJ Maxx I found it for $12. I just stock up every I see their products. Amazing!
Yup mine as well. But I noticed it's better if I apply it in the morning without using a cleanser (just splash water to the face) and after a layer of something else. Like a Missha mugwort essence as layer 1, then Klairs on layer 2 - it does even my skintone but I have to balance it with something else for hydration. If I apply Klairs as layer 1 and then follow it up with other hydrating toners, it still doesn't feel right for me :( not sure why
@@anam00090 I use Laneige Cream skin and it's the most hydrating and moisturising toner I've ever used ! The only drawback is it's heavy for summer when we all become oilier.
There is also another brand here that I've been using that I haven't heard too much about from youtubers called RoundLab, they make some really great products. I especially looooove their Birch Juice Sunscreen, feels like just using a light moisturiser.

I can't use niacinamide too often because I think it irritates my skin. But I also see the good results from what everyone is talking about so the struggle is real 😭
That CosRX BHA is great for sensitive and dry skin! The Paula's Choice BHA can be quite stripping for my skin and I only exfoliate once every 1.5-2 weeks. My skin tolerates lower percentages of actives a lot better, it might not deliver the same results as the PC one but its great for a much gentler option.
I have been looking for a good toner for my super dry, dehydrated skin, so the Klairs toner sounds exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you for making this video, really super helpful!

I have the same skin type as you here. I use a hydrating gel/serum(currently using neutrogena hydro boost gel cream and loving it) and follow it with a thick moisturizer like qv cream. The tip here is to use a tiny amount of the thick moisturizer (less than pea size). Basically the smallest amount that keeps my skin moisturized but not clogged or greasy.
I appreciate the recommendations of hydrating toners! I feel like you love them so much but for some reason don’t often specifically recommend them, so I didn’t know where to start. Thank you!

Personally, my favourite is the cosrx ultimate nourishing overnight rice mask, which James mentioned is super soothing and he uses as a regular moisturizer - and it is - it really is not a mask and it doesn't break me out, doesn't stay on my skin and I use it summer or winter

My absolute favourite evening moisturisers are the CosRX Advanced Snail 92 cream and their Hydrium Moisture Power enriched cream and I always have a spare on hand in case deliveries are delayed. I never got on with the I'm From Rice toner it wasn't as hydrating as I like so I moved to the Haruharu Black Rice toner which is a firm staple. I tend to prefer the Purito Sea Buckthorn vital 70 cream for a day moisturiser which has worked wonders for that morning glow and evening out my skin texture.

I'd like to make a comparison between the CosRX snail cream and the Mizon All-In-One snail cream, for anyone curious about them, as I was. I think the CosRX one is more hydrating, definitely a sticky mess, and is more reparitive -- I can always count on it to calm down any angry blemishes or broken skin. I sometimes find it too heavy for summer days, but it's a must-have for drier nights. The Mizon cream is definitely lighter, not at all sticky, a favorite of mine for daytime use or during the humid summer months. I think it's better for overall skin brightening -- the healthy parts of my skin always glow after using it. But it sometimes isn't enough during the winter time. Hopefully someone can get a little use out of this. Snail Mucin is an amazing product and never can seem to get enough love.

I bought all the K-products he had in one of his videos. COSRX is such a good product and the Rice toner. It was a little hard to find because they are always sold out in amazon. Even with wearing mask 12-13 hours a day at work my breakouts heals faster and my scars fades away. I do pop and pick on my zits if i dont put the patch.

I’m obsessed with the snail 92 moisturizer. Whenever I use it at night I wake up with plump and super soft skin.
It's so strange but the Dear Klairs Toner chronically dehydrates my skin :
Yup mine as well. But I noticed it's better if I apply it in the morning without using a cleanser (just splash water to the face) and after a layer of something else. Like a Missha mugwort essence as layer 1, then Klairs on layer 2 - it does even my skintone but I have to balance it with something else for hydration. If I apply Klairs as layer 1 and then follow it up with other hydrating toners, it still doesn't feel right for me :( not sure why

@@anam00090 I use Laneige Cream skin and it's the most hydrating and moisturising toner I've ever used ! The only drawback is it's heavy for summer when we all become oilier.
Recently moved to Korea and the endless access to all the k-beauty products is making it sooo hard to not just buy everything
There is also another brand here that I've been using that I haven't heard too much about from youtubers called RoundLab, they make some really great products. I especially looooove their Birch Juice Sunscreen, feels like just using a light moisturiser.

I can't use niacinamide too often because I think it irritates my skin. But I also see the good results from what everyone is talking about so the struggle is real 😭

That CosRX BHA is great for sensitive and dry skin! The Paula's Choice BHA can be quite stripping for my skin and I only exfoliate once every 1.5-2 weeks. My skin tolerates lower percentages of actives a lot better, it might not deliver the same results as the PC one but its great for a much gentler option.
I have been looking for a good toner for my super dry, dehydrated skin, so the Klairs toner sounds exactly what I've been looking for. Thank you for making this video, really super helpful!

I have the same skin type as you here. I use a hydrating gel/serum(currently using neutrogena hydro boost gel cream and loving it) and follow it with a thick moisturizer like qv cream. The tip here is to use a tiny amount of the thick moisturizer (less than pea size). Basically the smallest amount that keeps my skin moisturized but not clogged or greasy.
I appreciate the recommendations of hydrating toners! I feel like you love them so much but for some reason don’t often specifically recommend them, so I didn’t know where to start. Thank you!

Personally, my favourite is the cosrx ultimate nourishing overnight rice mask, which James mentioned is super soothing and he uses as a regular moisturizer - and it is - it really is not a mask and it doesn't break me out, doesn't stay on my skin and I use it summer or winter

I only use Korean skincare and I always buy it from wishtrend I’ve now got my two sisters, one of my best friends and two of my colleagues that I work with using Korean skincare!! My absolute favourite evening moisturisers are the CosRX Advanced Snail 92 cream and their Hydrium Moisture Power enriched cream and I always have a spare on hand in case deliveries are delayed. I never got on with the I'm From Rice toner it wasn't as hydrating as I like so I moved to the Haruharu Black Rice toner which is a firm staple. I tend to prefer the Purito Sea Buckthorn vital 70 cream for a day moisturiser which has worked wonders for that morning glow and evening out my skin texture.
That first Rice toner sounds soooo good. I have to figure out how to get it here. Its like everything i need for my dry skin.

All the I'm From rice products are really good for my acne-prone skin. I don't know whether it's the rice or the niacinamide, but their just do their job perfectly.

I'd like to make a comparison between the CosRX snail cream and the Mizon All-In-One snail cream, for anyone curious about them, as I was.
I think the CosRX one is more hydrating, definitely a sticky mess, and is more reparitive -- I can always count on it to calm down any angry blemishes or broken skin. I sometimes find it too heavy for summer days, but it's a must-have for drier nights.
The Mizon cream is definitely lighter, not at all sticky, a favorite of mine for daytime use or during the humid summer months. I think it's better for overall skin brightening -- the healthy parts of my skin always glow after using it. But it sometimes isn't enough during the winter time.
Hopefully someone can get a little use out of this. Snail Mucin is an amazing product and never can seem to get enough love.

I’ve also bought other products from COSRX as well. I bought all the K-products he had in one of his videos. COSRX is such a good product and the Rice toner. It was a little hard to find because they are always sold out in amazon. Even with wearing mask 12-13 hours a day at work my breakouts heals faster and my scars fades away. I do pop and pick on my zits if i dont put the patch.
