James, I'd love to see a video listing your most favourite soothing products, K-beauty or otherwise. I have dry/combination skin like a lot of 30+ year olds and when you mentioned that "tight" feeling you get after using certain products, I totally related to the feeling. I want to know what refreshing/calming skincare you would recommend! ✨💕
Thank you for your transparency with the links and the 'work' you've had on your face. I stopped watching beauty/skincare gurus cause I just felt like they were recommending every new product they were paid to "like". And saying how well a product helped them with a certain problem that they actually got professionally 'fixed'. Nothing wrong with getting procedures or getting sponsored but I just want the honesty so I appreciate your videos. I don't know if just clicking the links supports you but I clicked each and one of them just to do so.

I tried the Aestura Atobarrier cream and lotion because I heard their products were popular in Korea, and I can see why. Their products are great for dry sensitive skin and apply very nicely. Will definitely try out more from this brand.
@@lucyjames8818 Both are great in my opinion, very moisturizing. The cream can get quite heavy so I only use it at night. I like the lotion more since it's more lightweight, but I wish it came with the same packaging as the cream. The pump dispenses too much product if you're not careful and the opening sometimes gets clogged because of air exposure... Packaging aside, I still repurchased both. My skin loves their products.
The Aestura brand you showed really peaked my interest. Lately I've been getting fed up trying all these different face creams/lotions. They all have felt heavy, greasy and suffocating. As soon as I get slightly heated up from a brisk walk I feel like my face is just dripping from the lotion I've used. I also have hanyul bean serum, and I like it so far. I will try Mixoon’w bean serum next. I also like isoi’s rose serum. My skin brightened a lot (my dark spots faded!) after using isoi serum. I’m on my second bottle for this. Also, I like manyo galac niacin serum because it’s the only niacin serum that doesn’t make my base makeup roll and it’s somehow hydrating under make up without being greasy.

I have specific ones I'll use. Every now and then I may try something new just to see but there are 3 specific ones I'll never stop using. One being the Volcanic clay mask by Innisfree. I love it so much. I only use it once a month really. I don't need to use it anymore then that. Another one is the All Clean Balm by heimish. It's my oil cleanser and I use it twice a week or so right before I use my normal cleanser. And the other is the Bija Spot Treatment by Innisfree. I've been very lucky to not have suffered that badly from breakouts over the years but when I do get a rare breakout or a stray pimple here or there, I use this 2-3 times a day, depending on the size, a little also goes a long way, and it clears them up so fast.

Hi James! I've been watching your videos for almost 2 years and now I just influenced my husband to watch your videos with me. He has been loving your videos on beard routines. Can you please do more videos catered for men with beard? It would help so much. Not just for my husband but also for a lot of men out there. Love you James !!
Heyyyy!!! Ahhh thanks so much for sticking with me! Toners and chemical exfoliants are great for getting to the skin under the beard and keeping them flake free. Also a brush beard! Any facial moisturisers labelled ‘lotion’ tend to have a more liquidy consistency that gets to the skin under the beard better depending on how thick it is!
@@JamesWelsh OMG youu replied! Thank you so much for the advice! My husband is browsing for the products you just mentioned. He immediately bought the beard brush, Glow Recipe Watermelon juice moisturizer and facial cleansing brush (as recommended from your other videos). Will that be able to moisturize underneath the beard?
I would like this as well. I've been helping my brother (with a beard) develop a skincare routine. One of his biggest issues is ingrown hairs where he shaves. I'm not really sure what to recommend to prevent that.
James I know it's like super old video now but it's so useful for me now as I am in Korea. I watched couple RUclips videos regarding this topic and I must say you do it the best. I think if some RUclipsrs are using the term "healing properties" they should describe what they mean by that or if there's any clinical testing done on the product. So thank you for not using gimmick words that mean nothing :)
My favorite Korean brand is innisfree. I keep going back to their green tea line over more expensive skincare. I love their green serum I must have used up 6 bottles so far

The Kahi eye balm is great on the winter days with the wind stinging your eyes and your breath coming from wearing a mask. I really felt my eyes weren't hurting and drying out if I put this on before going out.
please do more new k beauty recommendations. i was looking through yesstyle the other day realizing that i have no idea what is going on in that world!
I might be wrong, but I thought the Aestura Atobarrier line was for eczema. My aunt bought it for me saying it's recommended for eczema. And in Korean eczema = a-to-pi. Thought the 'ato' came from that. Not sure if it's true but it's one of the only lotions that has NEVER irritated my eczema skin no matter the state it's in.
I think it’s not specifically for eczema but formulated for everyone including people with eczema. I think it’s for people with skin barrier problems, which people with eczema are definitely included in!
You have to buy The Lab's Sunscreen~It's the only sunscreen that I always forget I wear because it never gives me any skin irritation. I'm always astonished that at the end of the day before I remove the sunscreen I feel and see my skin is at its best condition. I have ultra sensitive skin. Living in Korea,I've tried A LOT of Korean sunscreen but this is the best for me! I will literally die if this is discontinued. PS. Noticed it's not already available in Olive Young shops and even their online shop so I have to buy it through The Lab's website.
When I reached out to Peach & Lily for a personalized routine maybe 5 years back they recommended Atoclassic - they no longer carry and it reminds me of Aestura so I look forward to having something for skin barrier repair on hand. I have yet to try anything Yuja but just say James was ultra glowy in the BS Bandwagon panel the other day - maybe it was this delicious sleeping pack 🤔✨. Props to James for pronouncing all these ingredients 👏🏼
Thanks for the awesome review, I love it❤️ Your nails look so cool and love the led lights. Your skin seems very stressed/blotchy and with a slight rash in this video especially on your nose and a little bit on your cheeks and forehead. Only noticed because I have very sensitive skin that overreacts and my skin go's like that after I washed it with something harsh or used too much product too quickly without letting my skin rest in between applications. Your skin looks so amazingly hydrated though! Thanks for the great content
So I heard you talk about Glow Recipe alot and I decided to try it. I am crazy about it now!! I use the moisturizer as a serum and I love what it does for my skin!!
James, my japanese friend told me the bean hype actually not a new thing, she said this a long time ago. She said soybean had this isoflavon that made skin plumpier? and moist? and a good fat for skin. You know the 'tofu/mochi skin goals"? Basically they want their skin to look as soft as soft tofu/ mochi. She also eat a lot of tofu fyi, while here i am still munching my nuggets like theres no tommorrow😔
Japan's Sana Nakamerahonpo Soybean skincare, from the face wash to toner, milk and cream, is very popular with both Koreans and Japanese because of the affordable and cheap pricing (less than USD 10 dollars in Japan for most products), and I can say that it has been around longer than Round Lab Korea.
If youre a kdrama addict like me, seeing kahi everywhere is just kinda an overkill for me lol. The PPLs are just too much. Have to be honest, I think I am gonna cave in one day lol

I dream of going to Korea again so I can hang out in Olive Young and all the other skincare shops aaah :) On soy in skincare, I was browsing today after having seen an interesting Japanese toner and apparently there's a fair bit of positive studies of the effect of soy isoflavones (estrogen-like effects) as far as skin aging. Looks as though isoflavones can stimulate collagen production which makes it interesting and kinda promising in skincare!
Hi James, Could you do a video on ice globes please? I don’t know why James but your face is extra glowing today! 🤩🤍
I want to shop Olive Young more, they seem like they have good sales I see the adds all the time on instagram but I hate their website!
My favorite Korean brand is innisfree. I keep going back to their green tea line over more expensive skincare. I love their green serum I must have used up 6 bottles so far
Love Innisfree! I have the cherry blossom toner, it's my favorite!
I'm waiting on my first Innisfree products to arrive at the moment
I've been really into k beauty skincare lately. I can't wait to try some for my rosacea and dry skin
Round Lab Mugwort toner is my favourite toner atm! I'm already on my 2nd bottle. I'll try the soybean bean one next
I started watching your channel right at the start of the pandemic (3 years ago?10? 50? who knows anymore) and I wanted to try the products you were showing, like from Cosrx, Dr Jart, Iunik and so on... Now I have the most amazing skin I have ever had!!!
Plus some mild obsession with K-skincare, but I think of it as a good thing :D
Thank you so much James
Excited to find a reliable alternative to YesStyle
Thank YOU so much for sharing a reliable website that sells Korean products...Thank You James :-)
The Kahi eye balm is great on the winter days with the wind stinging your eyes and your breath coming from wearing a mask. I really felt my eyes weren't hurting and drying out if I put this on before going out.
I would love,Love,LOVE to see you review the KoKo Rose products. They’re the only Black Owned K Beauty company
My favorite K beauty product is the Mizon 92% snail moisture . Love that product so much!!!
yaaas I was waiting for this video for a long time! love you 🥰😘
Round lab is my favourite brand ever. I have yet to try a product from them that my skin doesn’t love! It’s ALL so good!
please do more new k beauty recommendations. i was looking through yesstyle the other day realizing that i have no idea what is going on in that world!
I will be so thrilled to hear from you about new toners out there (that are actually hydrating).🐇
You're essentially correct. The "ato" is common shorthand for atopic dermatitis, aka eczema.
I think it’s not specifically for eczema but formulated for everyone including people with eczema. I think it’s for people with skin barrier problems, which people with eczema are definitely included in!
Do you use the lotion or cream version?
💜 Olive Young!
I miss them since I don't live in Korea any more...
I absolutely love Dr. Ceuracle!! The hyal reyouth cream is my favourite. I use the hyal reyouth toner as well, I really recommend them both!
It’s a Korean brand that i discovered that you might be interested in. The moisturiser is so so hydrating and almost mask like!
James be uploading videos at 3 AM in my country hahaha i love him so much♥️♥️
Love your voice.
Love your recommendations.
Appreciate your authenticity.
Love your channel! 💜
You've put me on kbeauty and im never going back. I hardly ever use any 'western' skincare anymore
i love korea - i went nuts for the skincare in 2019 when i was lucky enough to visit
I have been wanting a video like this 🤗 So excited
Numbuzin #3 toner won number 1 at the Olive Young Convention. Gives you a beautiful glow.
I couldn’t relate more when he said that he’s always endlessly scrolling on Olive Young because THATS ME ALL THE TIME 😩
But it’s in there -James 🤣 that face you made was the best. I always appreciate your honesty hun
Hello James. I always love your K Beauty reviews so this is right on time. Let me see if I find something new to try. Hope all is well.
Thanks for the awesome review, I love it❤️
Your nails look so cool and love the led lights.
Did Michelle perry read her emails/messages?
Absolutely love the Hanyul Yuja oil face masks. Used that mask for my wedding day.
I love you James!! Greetings from Oz! (Kansas) I always need more Kbeauty content!!!!
Aestura is my faave!! 😍
Ahhhhh that’s good to know! Nugget water toners 😍
You could try tofu nuggets ☺️ the chicken in nuggets is mostly flavourless, most people don't think vegan nuggets taste any different, just a tip 💕
I was missing your KBeauty videos ❤️
James can you do a video of your kbeauty faves every month♥️
If youre a kdrama addict like me, seeing kahi everywhere is just kinda an overkill for me lol. The PPLs are just too much. Have to be honest, I think I am gonna cave in one day lol
I use the Korean face masks that i get off amazon and they are so amazing my skin is always feeling amazing afterwards. Im definitely going to look more into these products. I really need more of a routine
Love your videos! Been watching a long time! I found you sort of through your brother Robert 😂 I'm a Makeup Artist and was subbed to him, and one day I watched your Photoshop video and thought it was him 😂 I've loved your videos ever since! You're so calming to watch❤️
i've been binge watching your videos now and newly subscribed and i've just noticed and i sweaaar you use kpop instrumentals in your intro sometimes right? i love it
Yes!!! Was in need of some inspiring products. Bored with inkey, ordinary, glow recipe…
I dream of going to Korea again so I can hang out in Olive Young and all the other skincare shops aaah :)
On soy in skincare, I was browsing today after having seen an interesting Japanese toner and apparently there's a fair bit of positive studies of the effect of soy isoflavones (estrogen-like effects) as far as skin aging. Looks as though isoflavones can stimulate collagen production which makes it interesting and kinda promising in skincare!
Thanks for the recommendations James! I usually scroll through olive young and can never decide what you purchase! 💜
Hi James, Could you do a video on ice globes please? Ive just bought some and don't know where to use them in my routine.I've heard people use them at the end of their routine after all their creams and people that say not to do that and only use them on clean skin. Wondered what your thoughts were?
Omg James! Don’t cry 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Loved the video. Watching your videos has changed my whole approach and even techniques I use. My 53 year old skin has never looked better. What do you think of facial steaming products?
James, let's face it. We'll never be happy until we get that serum from "Death Becomes Her" 😅 (writes check) 🤑
James, I love this episode! I’m addicted to OYG and ordered massive products… finally direct access to Korean skincare products and free shipping! great selections and looking forward for more of your recommendations! Please check out I’m from Honey mask. It’s just perfect to hydrate and give a glow finish.
Hii! Try Klavuu White Pearlization, I absulut love it, the cleanser is wonderful, the serum has 33 actives, like probiotics, fatty acids, niacinamide, a lot of antioxidants, alge extracts etc etc and the packing is sooooo beautiful. Everything had parfum but is really gentle and the cream is ultra hidrating, really good for dry skin, winter etc. Sulwhasoo is another wonderful, very rich in ingredients.
You'll probably like Soo Good "Feel so calm" toner pads.
I really want to start buying Korean skincare😫
James! I want to know if you’re also obsessed with Korean nail artists!? If not, you defo need to be 😍🤩😍🤩😍🤩😌
You have the skin I’m trying to achieve 🥰
