Its always funny to guard lexaeus' DM. He chargers at you like a freaking meteor with a 6ft tall blade, and you easily block it by weakly holding up a thin key while using only one hand.
17:15 I've found that a quick way to deal with Luxord's card jump attack is to do a Thundaga finisher after a full combo since it instantly wipes out all the cards
The only Data Org fight that I cannot think of a viable use for Reflect as a form of damage is Zexion, but it is still useful in avoiding attacks in Book World. So, that's something!
+huckmart 99 You are insanely terrible at this game if you think Counterguard is worse in KH2 over KH1. Like, have you even beaten Sephiroth? A ton of the org fights and Terra get destroyed by Counterguard, creating free openings. Reflect doesn't even always create openings, and leaves you wide open if it doesn't stagger the boss, which it won't always do that.
with this vid he tells you the do's & don'ts for EACH member.. he pretty much dissects each organization XIII member for you .. i owe this guy my thanks AND A subscribe for being so helpful and informative!
WillJV2 its not the best, far from it, he plays this battle way too safe, so much that its boring and repetitive to watch. Guys like Bizkit047 or Everglow are far above him, as they even joke and style on the bosses, showing true mastery of them.
I really enjoyed watching this. Hell I really enjoy watching all of your videos because of how you seem to have KH2 down to a science and I think it's very entertaining and amazing.
I started the data fights at the beginning of May this year. Before the guide I only managed to defeat xigbar, larxene, and Marluxia. With the guides help I have defeated everyone but xemnas . I can’t believe I’m this close so I very much appreciate this .
Your guide has really helped me out A LOT. I've managed to beat almost the entire Organisation at level 1, barring Xemnas 2. I wonder why the developers thought it was a good idea to force the player to repeat the first battle everytime you want to attempt the second :/
I know this was posted 9+ years ago, but wanted to let you know that this guide has easily made the 100% Critical run on my first ever KH2 playthrough easier. These fights were enjoyable to do with knowing a little bit of how the mechanics works in the more powerful version. Thank you ever so much for doing this. Secret ending unlocked!
still the best explanation video for data org even after almost 10 years. Most other videos are just mostly uncommentated showoff runs for Lv1 or no-damage or whatever i do not care about. I just want to know how the fights work and this did the job very well.
For anyone who wants to do a safer ars loop trick on Roxas, you will need 2 ethers and 2 elixirs. Shortcut them both, but be sure to leave them off of the triangle button. First off, keep him in his first phase. If he moves on to the second phase before you get the chance to steal his keyblades, the whole thing becomes much more difficult (if it's even still possible). If you're nearing the second phase, which starts when he's lost 4 bars of health, and you haven't had the chance to steal his keyblades, just dodge around and make sure not to get hit. When he dashes towards you and gives you the chance, take the keyblades. Once you steal his keyblades, dodge roll up to him, activate limit form, pause buffer, then throw yourself an ether and ars before the ether hits you to get your MP back. When doing ars, never do the finisher, or his revenge value screws up, which we don't want. After that first ars, hit him twice and ars again. Once again, hit twice and ars. Now, you'll be out of MP. Do a full combo with only one finisher, throw yourself one of those elixirs, then ars, hit twice, and ars again. With the 2 form boosts from final form, max level limit form, and not using oathkeeper, your form will last exactly long enough to do all of that. Now that you're back in your regular form, hit him twice and repeat everything. Doing it all again should deal enough damage to win you the fight, even at level 1. TL;DR: Keyblade steal > dodge roll > limit form > ether > ars > hit twice > ars > hit twice > ars > combo, 1 finisher > elixir > ars > hit twice > ars > hit twice > repeat > you win. Alternatively that may have been what he was trying to do and I'm just dumb EDIT: Also, with Xemnas's DM, it's better to get against a wall or into a corner. There's a certain attack of his that can completely miss, and if it does, your guard fails, letting him slide around and hit you through your guard.
I cant thank you enough for this pretty awesome guide on each data fight, for once actually well explained for casuals. Managed to beat all 13 on first few tries thanks to this video. Its a shame you didnt record Terra as well because i would like to see how to beat him normally with this level of explaination. No shame in admitting i did the jump finisher cheese method
Dang he makes it look easy, hats off to him, I've only beaten data Roxas and Larxene so far (I'm level 90 on standard) but I'm learning the patterns of the bosses slowly but surely (it's my first time playing the FM version)

I remember not knowing about Anti points when I played KH2FM on PS3. I was always just scared to use drives so I stopped doing it. It made me be more precise in my blocks and dodges.
Holy thanks Biz! Huge fan! I've been following you for years now :D I had watched this video many times before, but I didn't have the guts to try all of the data fights on 2.5 Eng at lv 1 because of obvious reasons.. ( I still won't fight Xemnas because that fight is bs on this version ). Anyway, I've beaten most data fights thanks to this guide, and just ten minutes ago I managed to beat Roxas. I did something different though: in his second phase, the Whirlwind Swing would always hit me when I tried to dodge roll (because of some weird hitbox delay?)... Therefore I found out that if you reflex it and do a 4hit combo you can still keep the loop! I hope this helps anyone who had the same problem ^_^ Much love~ KappaPride
I just beat all the data org members and i cant thank you enough, i wasn't lvl 1 or playing on critical but still thank you so much for putting this guide up. You helped me beat a game that i dreamed about beating for 6 years thank you.
I really like your channel. when I first saw the thumbnail I thought you were going to be another annoying RUclipsr that says "whats up guys" and inserts unnecessary puns for "appeal" but you do none of that. You are to the point without boring us.
Sadly acting like a moron doesn't bring in the extra tons of views of children, but oh well, I don't exactly do this to drag in that kind of audience anyway
Xemnas. he actually only took me two tries. I used blitz's strategy a little bit. Like some of them are hard to do. even the casual strategies, but its nice to know what you should do and modify to your own lvl (like skill lvl not Sora's lvl) also I was fighting Vexen with my sister and I beat him in literally less than a minute. I completely skipped his DM ( I like the word Limit break like in 358\2) and I don't know how I did that
+David Pardave my dodging is not on Fleek and I am using his strategy it works for the most part but when xemnas uses can you spell a heart my HP is too low to survive and I can tell he's doing one damage
Not me coming here for the Axel fight after you posted this video 9 years, and staying for some of the others I needed help with. But I wanted to say thanks for the tips, and walking through the strategy instead of just showing it. Literally turning quick run off for the Axel fight saved me.
larxene is the absolute worst. She gave me the most trouble. Finally, halfway through the fight I just spammed limit form and owned her... don't feel bad at ALL!
This was super helpful, thanking you for making this. I was able to kinda just brute force the majority of them, but for the few that I needed help with this was a major help in succeeding against them.
I just thunder spam anti Sora and get lucky with landing a finisher on his shield. The key is to glide away like a bird that's about to be hit by an airplane.
@@ichor2081 that is a good point. I never end up using limits which I guess makes my own handicap lol. I'm simple in my techniques: block, reflect, attack, and use a drive if I'm about to get yeeted.
It's funny how many ignorant people here seriously think that Biz is saying Dolan and Goffy because he doesn't know how to pronounce them correctly. It's obviously a from a meme
Goofy is Guufi and Donald is Donarudo in Japanese, so no. the /ooh/ sound is never an /ow/ sound, and there is no "ran" anywhere in "naru". stop spreading misinformation.
Just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do. Your guides (not just this one, but in general) have helped me a ton and I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos.
Bizkit, this was an amazing guide. I was freaking out about these battles, but your guides got me through them. I think it's safe to say you have legitimately made me a better kingdom hearts player! Got the trophy. Thanks. Long live critical mode!
Just beat all of these bosses for the first time (Proud Mode) with your help. Even though it was not as easy as you made it look, I probably would have struggled a lot more still without your strategies. Thanks a lot.
A side note with boosted lv99 stats for these is that you need to pay attention to HP and when to stop combos, because if you do them as long as Biz does on lv1, they'll break out and probably DM and destroy you
sometimes that can actually help, I accidentally killed Larxene without her even getting close to her DM. Used reflect and went into a slide dash and due to the timing it took about half her HP away in an instant, probably due to there being tonnes of her there at that point.
I am so thankful this guide exists, just beat all the data fights and I suck at every game I pick up. The easiest was probably Zexion and the hardest was Xaldin. Thank you so much for the guide!
@@DaKrimch they could've just nerfed it instead of removing it completely tbh. You couldn't really spam reflect mindlessly on lvl 1 anyway because it's not a guaranteed stagger which means you die if you use it too much.
The only thing what annoying is, when Xemnas is throwing me in the air and you have too press triangle. I don't know why but there is something messed up with the triangel in the game.
The thing that annoys me is the Xigbar and Xemnas fights because, when Xigbar shoots his blue missile you can only get hit with it twice before you die. I use the reaction commands before they come at me, like I see the triangle symbol and the words on top of my command page instantly and I press triangle and I still die anyways, that annoys me. And Xemnas doing his grab on Sora I can't use reversal in the air so it glitches out on me. The first Xemnas phase I'm fine with it's just the final one that gets on my nerves.
Orion For Xigbar, you can jump a Reflect at the blue laser as it comes out to dispel it. Or you can just spam Reflect if it comes out and as long as it connects it disappears. Xemnas thing is 2.5 glitch tho sadly
+Bizkit047 Just an update I actually fought Xemnas and defeated him. The Session Limit did save me and did give me the upper hand while giving him massive damage while he does the "We shall go together" phase and now it's a piece of cake to me. So now I'm fighting him a lot to get more strength.
Doesn't anyone else know that horizontal slash can exceed the normal amount of hits you have in an aerial combo? Like if you have two air combo pluses, you can do four horizontal slashes.
+contikipaul It may or may not be an HD 2.5 thing but I have noticed this as well. Aerial Dive or Spiral + 4 Horizontal Slashes and one or two Finishers are really damaging, even more so if you increase it to 5 with Star Seeker. I actually thought this was a normal thing until this video.
Would you mind listing the starting abilities that you have before the first fight? The strats all make sense, but I'm a little confused as to what abilities I should have equipped to start with.
I just beat every data org member at level 1, and it was with the help of your video!!! Whenever I needed help figuring out how to avoid attacks, predict what the bosses were going to do, or even how to loop the bosses, I was able to keep referencing this video and learn from it. Thank you so much for posting it on RUclips. Your guide really helped me get better at KH2FM!
Your explaining it..Very Clearly. Thank you.....whether I can excecute is another matter......you have no idea how long I have wanted the platinum for these games and most guides don't tell all. I feeel like its all lost but you can help me. Though I don't like that you cannot beat them (on critical) without help. I love this series...but I alwayls feel like I am not good enough lol
Thank you! You were extremely helpful with Final Xemnas. I also watched the Marluxia fight because the GameFAQs message board had people saying he was the easiest, and he most definitely was *not*. After seeing you explain it, I've concluded that I'm just really bad at dodging. I was level 99 when I fought him. When I finally defeated him, the doom counter was at one. I didn't even combo him to death, I had to rely on Thundaga for the last bit of health.
That first half of the xemnas fight is the easiest of any organization fight, literally when I did it.. I didn't have to move or anything at all... I just did guard for every single move then counter did have to dodge once.. Lol in kh 1 fm that battle was such a pain..
You're a legend. Update on this: Finally got lucky once. Last bar, full HP and MP I was. Did the reflega after jump collecting, got hit, went full rage mode and just slammed one combo, ended him with a lucky critical after the combo (it was an epic close-finish...sure wish I would've streamed that) You're done, Xaldin!!!
MFChickenFlipper what is the pause strat? I don’t understand. I can’t beat this guy for the life of me, anti Sora just kicks my ass the whole time, this guy doesn’t even have to deal with him I don’t get it...
@@collinschufreider7341 That's Vexen you're thinking of, the guy with the Ice Shield and can summon Anti Sora. Luxord is the guy with the cards and the minigame DM

Thanks so much for all the data battles tutorials. You've really helped me a lot with all the organization's attack patterns. Your too awesome! Man lvl 1 challenge ain't no joke. I was struggling bad, and I'm on just critical mode 😅
i find it easier to avoid luxords dm by gliding he never catches me when i glide also on final xemnas if you are on a lower difficulty setting you can eaisly beat him using session but trying to beat him using session will probably get you killed on proud or critical (especialy on level one)
If you're a high level like me and having trouble with the Roxas fight, try reflect spamming when hes about to attack (during the second phase). It doesnt use too much magic and gives you an opening after every one of his attacks.
Thank you so much man. Your explanations are so nice and you play so expertly. It's a pleasure to watch you, and thanks to you I got the Platinum trophy on proud mode :)

I had watched this video many times before, but I didn't have the guts to try all of the data fights on 2.5 Eng at lv 1 because of obvious reasons..
I hope this helps anyone who had the same problem ^_^
Much love~ KappaPride
+Bizkit047 omg you replied. I've been using you're guides. I've beaten most of the organization. i just have xaldin and xemnas left.
+Bizkit047 save me number 1 whatever the fuck his name is kicks my ass my defense is 110
Xemnas. he actually only took me two tries.
How time flies...
Well I did it! ALL ORG LV1! Took me a long time, but thx to you I did it! THANKS!
I'm a new sub and i really enjoy your videos. super simple, super informative. thanks a ton for these!!
Really appreciate this man. I've been trying to do these boss fights for a while now and you just gave me the best guide so far. Kudos
Thanks for doing them at level 1. I am doing my first level 1 playthrough right now, and this was a big help.
I’m going through the data battles for the first time and I’ve beaten 3/13. This video is so helpful for the ones I’ve been stuck on. Thank you!
Its ironic, Vexen is considered the weakest of organization 13, but he's the hardest, least for me lol
Especcialy when ur not that cheap ass bitch who save state load spams if u mess up hi's dm
I just thunder spam anti Sora and get lucky with landing a finisher on his shield. The key is to glide away like a bird that's about to be hit by an airplane.
@@MFChickenFlipper or you can just duckflare the entire DM with ether restoration and again doing a duck flare
@@ichor2081 that is a good point. I never end up using limits which I guess makes my own handicap lol. I'm simple in my techniques: block, reflect, attack, and use a drive if I'm about to get yeeted.
@@MFChickenFlipper Sounds like the key to every boss fight except Xigbar and Axel.
I can't thank you enough for this masterpiece! I finaly managed to beat all bosses on critical (lvl 99).
I more-so think hes ignorant for calling Demyx "Demi"
@@Draco7811 um how?
it's just a nickname
@@minecraftlmafo12 ...Holy shit. Dolan and Gooby are MEME NAMES for Donald and Goofy, originating from actual internet memes.
SoraKreiss 3FM yawn thats boring
Just wanted to say thank you for doing what you do. Your guides (not just this one, but in general) have helped me a ton and I really appreciate the effort you put into your videos.
2020 and this guide still helps a lot
Bizkit, this was an amazing guide. I was freaking out about these battles, but your guides got me through them. I think it's safe to say you have legitimately made me a better kingdom hearts player! Got the trophy. Thanks. Long live critical mode!
Imo, the speedrun Roxas strat is the easiest way to beat him
Man this video is still great to wacth. Great to see how far you've come man!
Do both Sora and Riku have to survive the final laser barrage from Final Xemnas?
Yes
Just beat all of these bosses for the first time (Proud Mode) with your help. Even though it was not as easy as you made it look, I probably would have struggled a lot more still without your strategies. Thanks a lot.
24:25 "Goffy"
Great video!
Just wanted to say this was so useful and it motivated me to do crit lv1 playthrough, its really hard but so fun
A side note with boosted lv99 stats for these is that you need to pay attention to HP and when to stop combos, because if you do them as long as Biz does on lv1, they'll break out and probably DM and destroy you
HyperProbability or any sort of boosted stats
sometimes that can actually help, I accidentally killed Larxene without her even getting close to her DM.
So basically, Reflega is all you need.
I dunno if the developers realized just how broken it is. I've beaten data Larxene in under 20 seconds using Reflega...
@@Puvwilmo00 considering they took it out of 3 they probably did
@@DaKrimch yeah but now fire is broken in it.
@@DaKrimch they could've just nerfed it instead of removing it completely tbh. You couldn't really spam reflect mindlessly on lvl 1 anyway because it's not a guaranteed stagger which means you die if you use it too much.
This guide was so helpful in helping finish getting the platinum for this game. Thank you so much for such an in depth analysis of these bosses.
It sucks when you try to enter Wisdom Form for Demyx and get pushed into Anti-Form three times... -.-
Its always a gem to come back to this. Thanks for this well in depth video!
I defeated all the Data battles, EXCEPT Data Xemnas. He's second battle is a pain in the ass...
Gael Halazany xemnas was my first win hahah
***** Spam Dark Firaga on Xemnas clone, and keep running to Sora.
The only thing what annoying is, when Xemnas is throwing me in the air and you have too press triangle. I don't know why but there is something messed up with the triangel in the game.
Gael Halazany This is a 2.5 problem, this part on this fight is really messed up
Lucas Vinícius Oh well i finally defeated Xemnas. Now i only have too fight...
This guide was a big help on my first attempt against these bosses. Thank you!
Bizkit047 Oh okay, I've realized that too in one moment he shot the blue lazer I'll just do that then. And yeah I've heard it is sad.
Bizkit047 I actually took time to fight some of the members and I actually beat Xigbar and Saix as a bonus in one day! Thanks! XD
GugomoGames True! I've done that too
+Bizkit047 Just an update I actually fought Xemnas and defeated him. The Session Limit did save me and did give me the upper hand while giving him massive damage while he does the "We shall go together" phase and now it's a piece of cake to me. So now I'm fighting him a lot to get more strength.
This guide helped me a ton. Currently have all but Xemnas down, who I've attempted only once at this point, and one shotted first form.
Can someone tell me why there are two kingdom hearts speed runners with the name Bizkit. Are Bizkit 047 and bloody bizkits the same person?!
Kris Rehfuss nope 😂 just very similar names I guess
because they both have english memory
I think there brothers actually
Never mind it was just a big coincidence and they have no blood relation to each other.
Thanks for this great guide, Biz! I had a hard time with the Data Org fights and I'm so glad I came across your video, I finally got my bronze crown!
I'm going to be doing this at level 99 but I can't imagine it being easy even so.
Just finished watching you video (still having problens on Xemnas) and, as many here said: Best KH player period.
Congratulations dude.
Doesn't anyone else know that horizontal slash can exceed the normal amount of hits you have in an aerial combo? Like if you have two air combo pluses, you can do four horizontal slashes.
+contikipaul No one knows that because it isn't true
+contikipaul It may or may not be an HD 2.5 thing but I have noticed this as well. Aerial Dive or Spiral + 4 Horizontal Slashes and one or two Finishers are really damaging, even more so if you increase it to 5 with Star Seeker. I actually thought this was a normal thing until this video.
THIS IS AWESOME!
Exactly what I was looking for, a guide WITH commentary!
Thanks man
Would you mind listing the starting abilities that you have before the first fight? The strats all make sense, but I'm a little confused as to what abilities I should have equipped to start with.
I just beat every data org member at level 1, and it was with the help of your video!!! Whenever I needed help figuring out how to avoid attacks, predict what the bosses were going to do, or even how to loop the bosses, I was able to keep referencing this video and learn from it. Thank you so much for posting it on RUclips. Your guide really helped me get better at KH2FM!
On Luxord's Minigame I find it MUCH easier to look at the cards instead of the command menu :3
Looking back after KH3' Datas
Its like im playing a completely different fucking game. The bosses don't even act remotely the same.
Claptrap the bosses would’ve been to easy if they were the same as their absent silhouette, or regular fight
Xaldin is still kicking my ass, he and Xemnas are the last two I have to beat. Thanks for your amazing tutorial though, helped a lot!
He makes Data Luxord look like a joke... I'm level 99 on Standard and he's the only one I have yet to beat.
I used to get nervous with Luxord until I learned the pause strat.
For me, Axel is the hardest. I can't react to what he does fast enough.
@@caelum9471 Bro you are like 4 months late
IDK if you'll read this but I want to say I'm very grateful and impressed at this guide and your other videos. Much respect for your skill with this game.
Final Zebraman. xD
A very helpful guide.
Pure and admirable skills you displayed there.
this vid saved me from rage quitting
22:00 I can’t reflect into guard break, why is that?
ETA: Put on combo master.
If you're a high level like me and having trouble with the Roxas fight, try reflect spamming when hes about to attack (during the second phase). It doesnt use too much magic and gives you an opening after every one of his attacks.
Wow this is a completely different side of the game I didn't even notice. Thank you for showing this to us! Looking forward to trying this (:
Marluxia is hands down my favorite fight in this game. Roxas is pretty fun too. But seriously, FUCK Luxord's DM. That shit took me FOREVER to beat.
I feel the same way too??
Luxord was the easiest up until his dm
Thank you so much man. Your explanations are so nice and you play so expertly. It's a pleasure to watch you, and thanks to you I got the Platinum trophy on proud mode :)
Beat all the data fights on critical without looking at any guides. Wanted to come to see how they were done by a pro I dont think I did too bad as far as getting hit lol
This video turned the data org into such a fun experience to replay. I hope you eventually do a guide like this for kh3 because I’m lost like I was for 2 before this video
Thanks in part to this video and to the fact that I'm Lv. 99, I have as of today, conquered the Organization XIII Data Battles. My first run at them, and I decided to do it on Critical Mode of all things. But hey, Critical Mode was FUN. My next target is Terra. Wish me luck everyone! ^^
Funami2006 *Luck Intensifies*
Funami2006 did you do it?
Thanks for the guide I was playing this game while you were explaining the guide
