In House of the Dragon season 2, episode 7, Cregan Stark and his army, the Winter Wolves, will arrive at the Twins, the seat of House Frey, where they are granted passage into the south, secured by Jacaerys Velaryon when he negotiated with the Freys to swear allegiance to Rhaenyra Targaryen.
Cregan Stark replaces Roderick Dustin as the leader of the Winter Wolves in the show.
Cregan Stark, known as the Wolf of the North, Lord of Winterfell, and head of House Stark, marches south with 2,000 greybeards to fight for Rhaenyra Targaryen, as he promised Jacaerys.
We first see Cregan in season 2, episode 7 of the Game of Thrones prequel series, House of the Dragon. Then, in season 3, Cregan and his Stark army fight the Lannisters and the Hightowers, securing many victories for Rhaenyra. Cregan will face Criston Cole, leading to Criston's end. Later, Cregan takes King’s Landing, becomes Hand of the King, and rules for six days during a time known as 'The Hour of the Wolf.'
In season 2, episode 7, we will see Cregan Stark and his army march south.
That’s a preview of House of the Dragon season 2, episode 7, featuring Cregan Stark and his Winter Wolves, accompanied by all the leaked scenes and information we have.

Cregan Stark the Gigachad:
-Entered Kings landing like a boss.
-Arrested both Greens and Blacks.
-Arrested the Sea Snake to assert dominance.
-Became Hand of the King.
-Executed all traitors with Ice by himself.
-Resigned as Hand within a day.
-Got Alys Blackwood as wife.
-His men stayed south to repopulate.
-Returned North and refused to elaborate.
He’s a ruthless Stark
Starks were usually Ruthless. But Ned was raised in the Vale, which made him more honorable than sensible.
@@aerisaeris915this. Many people don’t know this and see Starks as some honorable folk
Starks are all honourable. That's the reason Cregan Stark seeks to punish Aegon II enemies who killed him with poison, even though Aegon was his enemy. The Starks have always guarded the wall. They see it as an honour rather than a sentence.
The North Remembers
Rhaenyra: "YOU STAND WITH A DRAGON OF HOUSE TARGARYEN, WHAT DO YOU WANT?!"
ADDAM: "i dont know ask the dragon"
Imagine Addams reaction when he finds himself being chased down by another dragon while riding the dragon that appeared out of nowhere and claimed him lol
“I don’t know, ask him”
It’s like he stole the neighbors car for a joyride 🤣
Addam is like “this day gets better and better”

‘Episode 7 leak’ precedes to spoil the whole series 😭😂😂
Yeah this person is a straight up amateur just trying to get views posting mostly spoilers about stuff that happens in the books

yet here you are watching when you could simply ignore 🤡
Right 😂
Benjicot Blackwood: “Half your men will die, Lord Stark.”
Cregan Stark: “They died the day we marched, boy.”
Brilliant line 😊 Hope they keep it in!
Benjicot was a kid

@@HouseOfTheDragonTalks ik
Cregan is the coolest character in the book in my eyes. Nobody dared to oppose him and he made Kings Landing bow down to his feet.
Yup Specially when there were no dragon riders alive.
Who else is hyped for Cregan Stark and his Winter Wolves and their epic line from the books when they got into the Greens: "We have come to die for the Dragon Queen"
Meee
Meeeeee hope the winter wolves look awesome
Soooo excited 😊
And watching Stark Winter Wolves killing Lannisters AND Hightowers. Doesn't get better than that.
Count me in too
"The idea that we control dragons is an illusion" - Viserys Targaryen
Seasmoke proved that correct
The Northern lords always have to clean up the Southern Lords messes.
“A Stark doesn’t fare good at Kings Landing”… Meanwhile Cregan😂

Cregan Stark’s Winter Wolves, though old, are the best warriors during Dance because they are not afraid to die, in fact they welcome it, as the only reason they are marching to war is to die to eat their family’s winter food. Thats why they will completely destroy Criston Cole, the Lannisters and Hightowers in the Riverlands. They are marching to death, there is no more fearsome opponent than that 🐺
Meanwhile Lannisters sent their most elite troops and will still bite the dust

@@jjosifovic There's a brief battle after Criston is killed. The Blacks break the Greens with a cavalry charge and the Greens are routed.
Jacaerys does more for the Blacks that Queen Rhaenyra. New dragonriders were his idea, securing the North and Stark army was also his idea, negotiating with Freys and securing Starks march south also his idea. Jacaerys carrying Blacks
“We need Daemon” even he knows that. Yeah hes def killing it this season. Baela as well
He would of made a great king 👑 It’s going to hurt to see him die 💔
Which I agree
I cant want to see Criston Cole eat dirt, ALL HAIL CREGAN STARK, The King in the North!
Sheep.
The King in the North!
This story sounds so much better than anything in this series and I hope they do it. Cregan sounds like a hell of a badass
GRRM: Here's a finished story this time
SO you guys can adapt it faithfully
and avoid GoT disaster.
HBO: *no*
its good so far.
Dude the story is trash and everything but finished. It's an outline of events, where most people act like NPCs. Is that what you wanna see? Cause nobody would give a damn about these characters if they adapted it word to word. Even with the more fleshed out characters, the show still has the issue of the source material being so vague even the slow burn season hadn't fully been able to fix that.
I loved how instead of Addam claiming Seasmoke it was Seamoke claiming Addam it was a cool touch
Seasmoke with uno reverse card
I disagree. It’s never been that way so why change it. I’m not saying it was a bad change I’m just saying why change it. Riders have always claimed the dragons not the other way around.
@@AydenDoesGames I thought the same, I'm thinking there is a reason why I guess theres a larger roll for him that's not in the book
@@AydenDoesGames It's one of those details that don't matter much, imo.
@@xSavedSoulx I mean it changes a lot. Why was there no other dragons that claimed there riders. It makes no sense to the bigger story in the books because dragons would have flew out of Valyria to claim bastards of Valyrians It doesn’t matter to this series so much but to the book readers it doesn’t make sense.
House Stark supports Rhaenyra over Aegon. I think it's clear which side is the good side
Starks, Quick Tempers, Slow Minds
Shouldn’t be like it
He literally avenged Aegon's death lol
Yay😊
It's because he liked Jace. It's not about good or bad. Have you not been paying attention?
Ngl Jace and Aemond might need to pack it up,my boi Cregan outmews tf out of them both
"Mogging is coming"
😂😂😂
Who does it better
Cregan marched down south. Crushed the Green loyalists, took over Kings Landing and sat on the Iron Throne, did a Royal Wedding and marched back north.
Can he take the throne from aemond Targaryen
He sat on the throne as a temporary king's hand during the hour of the wolf, to sort out the mess and make a few heads roll.
The Stark theme was made more than 10 years ago. It was like returning home listening to it and seeing Winterfell this season. Can’t wait for more of the Stark scenes
Seasmoke to Addam: "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING? WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?"
Come here boy
They always run, STOP RESISTING!!
Atleast come up with something original lmfao I've seen this exact comment atleast 100 times this week and it's only Thursday
Right? I think I would run at first myself lol
Seasmoke: I just wanna talk
I can see the path they are taking with Hugh hammer. He will fight for rhaenyra, but when she has to raise taxes on the small folk, Hugh realizes that rhaenyras reign will be just how aegon’s was. The smallfolk suffering. Perhaps his daughter will die somehow and he will declare himself king and attempt to favor the smallfolk, I’m trying to figure out his motivation for declaring himself king, but perhaps he and ulf will be on a power trip too.
Great Analysis
GOD DAMN THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL YOU MUST BE A SCRIPT WRITTER ? this was really spot on.
Spot om
I've been rewatching season one, and noticed something regarding dragonfire and dragon types:
Syrax is the first we see light up Queen Aemma's funeral pyre; it's a pretty consistent stream of fire that seems to take a bit of effort from Syrax.
Next we see Caraxes vs. The Triarchy. Caraxes is already unique, but so is his dispersion of fire in combat. He hits Triarchy Corsairs like a f**king LASER. Pinpoint precision, and "reloading" does not seem to be an issue.
Seasmoke has a kind of jet-fighter theme to him, his fire is much like Syrax, and he seems best used as a weapon for attacking enemy flanks, hiding and then strafing archers on high ground.
Vermithor is going to be a f**king MONSTER once he's claimed. His fire at Daemon's song or "Call to War", were almost a combination of Vhagar and Caraxes, a laser beam of fire, but covering more area than Caraxes, Like Vhagar is able to.
Old Vhagar's fire is like a literal bomb. It's concentrated at the beginning, then spreads out to cover a huge amount of area. It seems covering more area means less concentrated fire.
Tessarion is the dragon I'm REALLY wanting to see, but if we get him this season, it will only be at a critical moment. Season 3 will have to develop Daeron as a character.
So, unless my eyes are lying, or I'm misunderstanding the nature of fire, I contend that if Aegon II had been hit by a fire gout from Caraxes instead of Vhagar, there would've been nothing left but limbs, Valeryian armour, or no.
It would seem the different dragon typologies extends to the way they fight and use fire. Not just how they look.
Probably Valyrians had dragons bred for war, for flight, for scouting etc. How would you classify the “breeds” of dragons
Not only are these great observations but in the books aswell each dragon had their own diff coloured flame which was pretty cool
I want a dragon that can only spit a ball of fire but once it hits an area, will burst and spreads the flames like a molotov cocktail. Pretty useful against armies with scorpions. The dragon just need to drop fireballs from high above.
@@dworroba7693 That's a very good question.
Cregan and his Winter Wolves perfectly embody the Starks of old, there's a reason they were the only kingdom that crushed the Andals when they invaded.
Roose Bolton himself described it best in GoT Season 3 Histories and Lore:
"Blood and steel won the North, and the Starks had plenty of both".
Starks were ruthless back in the day
💯💪
Seasmoke: "I will choose my rider right after I thoroughly reject this man's job application."
Dracarys 🔥
Since when did a usual suspect apply anywhere
Seasmoke got offended by Darklyn’s false confidence and saying “ive done it” when he did nothing, Seasmoke allowed it and then Darklyn processed to walk towards him like a scared coward. Thats why Seasmoke burned him
@@Dinoo730 Cause Darklyn was white and they’re all woke, dumbass
@@Dinoo730 dude had it if he just walked confidently. Seasmoke was ready for anybody.
The bonds between dragons and thier riders in this show is truly amazing.
You miss the part where they change alliances out of nowhere and yeet their riders for no reason mid-flight?
I'm not sure what this video has to do with episode 7 since you're just telling the full story all the way till series finale. None of this is happening in episode 7, as we can see from the trailer.
Cregan Stark the badass of Westeros. In his own words “You might have a dragon but Winter is coming. Justice need to be served”
The craziest part of Cregan's life was that he dueled Aemon the Dragonknight who was Daemon and Rhaenyra's grandson.
The Wolf 🐺 lived to be a Greybeard himself 🧔🏼♂️
I like the idea of seeing cregan stark. I have no idea how he will survive though, considering that 99% of winter wolves died. Also, lord Stark’s honor might change the butchers ball
He will be in that 1% and then probably retreat to Winterfell to gather a new Stark army with which he will also march later on and take Kings Landing.
It is honor that they kill Cole like that, Kingmakes deserves no more, dies in battle by archers
@@Dinoo730 I agree, they will definitely let him escape north. I just worry about the plot armor.
Also, Cole wasn’t killed in battle, it was under a banner of peace. Lord stark might accept his offer. We would at least get an epic fight out of it.
Didn't Tom say that Cregan is not supposed to appear this season anymore, and his only scene was the opening of the season
I don't usually like changes from Fire and Blood but this is one I approve of, being a Stark man myself. The North Remembers! Winter is coming south.
except the trailer they released for Ep8 doesnt show Creagan at all just the greybeards
Episode 7 ? 😂 You just told the whole story
Its crazy that Aemon the Dragonknight, the best knight in the history of the Seven Kingdoms, praises Cregan Stark as “the finest swordsman” he ever saw. They better deliver this on the show
My thoughts on all of this?? IF it wasn't for their duty to the WALL, the starks would rule westeros :v
Gregan is the GOAT of the series
I really enjoy listening to your RUclips posts. They are very informative and usually dead on. I love anything and everything to do with the Starks. In Game of Thrones and in House of the Dragon, they play an important role. Thanks for sharing
That will be a drastic change from the books if Cregan Stark lead the winter wolves in the books it was Rodrick Dustin who lead them
Not nearly as drastic as some of the changes we’ve seen so far in season 2…
What I found cool in the book is that the fish feed men that appeared dead actually were still alive and were disguised blacks that would do hit and run tactics on the greens. It was super effective
The Starks have always been the Ice in the repeating Song of Ice and Fire.
The Starks are the true rulers of Westeros. Tyrion’s final speech really missed the mark by not saying that a Stark should rule the kingdom.
The interesting thing is that they never show interest in the South, they always preferred the north where they have their homes and family. Their time is consumed in live and survive the winter times they have. They preferred their home.
So a Stark still the best character in a show about Targeryans🤣
Daemon has always been loyal to Viserys, thats the reason he will decide to support Rhaenyra after all, because he knows it was Viserys’ wish and he will be there now for him to protect Rhaenyra and make sure she wins
Fire and blood, the #1 best RUclips channel on HOTD. The “King of Leaks” 98% always Spot On🔥 Amazing How he Knows? Bravo to You F&B🐉
So, Rhaenyra loses every battle until starks join the chat
What an unreal character man, total Chad, just wins every battle despite being outnumbered and claps all the enemy lords cheeks time and time again, delivering cool ass one liners the whole time, George cooked with this guy fr
I have absolutely no idea when what youre saying happens this season transitions into what youre saying will happen in future seasons. Can someone tell me if i get to see Cole die this season or if i need to suffer for 2 more years before seeing him die?
*Yes*

I don't get why no one else builds a bridge. Like, it doesn't have to be a giant stone bridge, hah. I also don't get why they don't just march down the Kingsroad which runs along the Eastern bank of the Green Fork and literally pops out RIGHT at Harrenhal. Well, a little bit North at the Crossroads Inn and Darry. Like, truly, I don't get it. There isn't even a major road on the map going from the Twins to Riverrun. Looks like there's mountains and a mire in the way etc. And you'd then have to cross the Blue and Red fork of the river to get to Riverrun. OR you could just go South down the Kingsroad, turn West at the Crossroads Inn and go down the River Road straight to Riverrun. Shouldn't they be heading towards Harrenhal anyways, instead of Riverrun? I've never heard anyone mention this inconsistency but just looking at the map, it seems obvious?
The security wayy below his pay grade to get in the middle of kick them out 😂
“THEY DIED THE DAY WE MARCHED, BOY.”
Indeed because when they leave to the south there was a winter time in north. They prepared for it. In a way they preferred to die in the war that be a weight for the survivors in the north. They preferred the strong ones survive in their home for continue the lineage. Also the survivors in war can marry the woman of other houses that lost their husbands in the war. The woman that were in the north see their husbands like they will never return while trying to survive the winter.
Larys strong getting beheaded by cregan, we are here for it 😂
Great news can’t wait the see the wolves!!!!
I too love Winter Wolves
So you read the book and you think you know everything? But HBO never follows the books exactly on anything they produce.
Winter is Coming for the false King Aegon, for false knight Criston Cole and for the pretenders supporters Lannisters and Hightowers.

If cregan is not too careful he might become my favourite stark
Me gashlighting myself into believing season 2 will be a slow burn with an epic season finale payoff 😭😭 but its so weird to me how they are clearly trying to drag the show out to be as long as possible yet they only gave us one scene of the Starks so far
Hey Daemon tripping at Harrenhal for entire season is exciting 💀
But Cregan doesn’t lead the winter wolfs
It’s Roderick Dustin
Creagan stark already confirmed not to appear back in the show until season 3
Cregan Stark is the real hero here
Good stuff
Appreciate it
Imagine if you will if they would have succeeded the army of the Dead. If they would have succeeded in the last episode of game of thrones they would have had across that bridge. Most likely they would have to go in. Probably maybe lines of three wide. It would probably take them forever to cross that bridge if that's what they chose to do
Cregan is def the best character
this is a tv series so it needs to follow the book
How sure are these leaks?
Either happens in episode 7 or 8
I want showrunners to make Cregan the stark completly different from Ned and Robb. I want to see hardcore wolf, hungry for blood
Me too!
Agree!!!
Starks were known to be brutal, not honorable. Ned was honorable because he was raised by Jon Arryn.
Honestly this change makes sense. Cregan Stark leading Winter Wolves instead of Ruddy the Ruin makes sense since the audience has no idea who Roderick is, and since Winter Wolves play such an important role, better to have Cregan lead them, someone we actually care when the Starks vs Lannisters happens in the Riverlands, gives us someone to root for and also a familiar face
Nah imma need both. Roddi is legendary
Is that the whole book?😅
Isn’t it tactically stupid beyond belief, for the Lord of Winterfell to march south with the army…?
Ah, welcome to the quality of writing for the show!
I mean he does march with the second host later in the book
It’s not a spoiler. He’s reading the book
