- The Temple of the Ancients battle theme on the outside of the temple. This theme was also featured in the Rebirth theme song trailer that released the same day as the game awards prior to the game's release.

I have never experienced a sensation of finality as much as I did with this particular battle and this music. It was almost religious.

Ill never understand why they played the forgotten city theme inside the temple of the ancients instead of at..the forgotten city
Maybe cus they knew we wouldn't be there long and never was in the original either, so they let us hear it for longer somewhere else instead
Not hard to understand - players don't spend much time in the actual city. But it may become a dungeon in the third game as the OG FVII has you return there.
Because the forgotten city was basically the classic final boss run. Also if you remember after you rest before making your decent into the city music doesn’t even play. Idk minor gripe. At least they still had it in there and it was beautiful 🤷♂️ i’m sure we’ll hear more versions of it in part 3. Stop expecting what you want to happen and just go along for the ride like i have and you’ll see how great the whole experience is. If you want the og it’s always there for you. This is something new my man. Just try to enjoy it as a whole new experience, its own thing. It’s a glorious masterpiece.
@@eliminoh_p7877 yeah I mean, we will go back there after all, I don't remember if it was main story or not since I watched someone play og 7 awhile ago but I do remember going back there for a reason, but even then I kinda don't expect the original track to play there, hell I'd rather "the cries of the planet" or whatever its actually called be woven into the final dungeon if anything, the song that was there always seemed too upbeat to me, like I get triumph and all that, but the story makes it feel like a suicide mission
