This temple felt a bit like Iipsen’s castle in FFIX
Some parts looked a little like the Alexander altar. The way the gates opened for example, like the knights in ffix as you go up the stairs

Thank you for this one especially. I got the deluxe version of the soundtrack for this game and this one is not on it (really hungry about it since it's my favorite).
I feel like the weapons found here and the trial sequences mean that the cetra could see the team in the future and built the temple for them almost, like they were destined to be here. This was always meant to happen and was foreseen. Sounds obvious maybe.
Hello you missed one music inside the Temple of the ancient there's one that should be in the Forgotten city but instead can be heard there too, is it called "you can hear the cry of the planet but it's arranged there, if you could do a video and post it, thank you
yeah.. as my comment says, the lower levels of the temple has some bits of the forgotten city song just like the temple it self has only bits of the temple song too.. and the actually city begins with a very not eteraly feel.. but more like a persecution.. I dont know.. I think that last part of the game was very poorly directed, OG was more mistical and knew when to show sephiroth, here is just a fan service of showing him everytime all the time and I dont know haha..

Temple of the Ancients FF7... Especially since this is literally a version of that track and it FF7 OST was written earlier than FF8.

hate to be a little hater with this, but even though I love most of the remake rebirth music arrangements.. I think some things are not very good done compared to the original, is not bad, but is just not the same :C.. this version is not even a shadow of the nobuo uematsu real version for this temple.. same goes for the my favorite song listen to cries of the planet that here is not even on the forgotten city (that is not even an explorable dungeon, its just a setting for a fight and thats it), and its only shown bits of it when sephiroth talks to cloud about the planet or in some lower levels of this temple... I dont know forgive me if this is not a popular opinion, but I was really hype to hear my 2 favs songs of the game and came out a bit empty handed :C haha
We'll probably return to the forgotten capital in part 3 where it will make more sense to have the classic exploration music instead of here where it was the climax of the game.

Feel the exact same. Two of my favorite tracks from the original OST and we got neither of them... Only bits and pieces scattered through different tracks. :/
There is another part of the labyrinth where the music kind of plays a mixture of one winged angle & 7 seconds until the end but a calmed down version. Any ideas of the name?

A disappointing remix of the original theme. Unfortunate when most of the rest of the OST is amazing.
Yeah, i feel the whole Temple of the Ancients was a fumble in Rebirth honestly. Didn't feel as fun or whimsical as in the original game.
@@panipancakes4229 The original will always be beautiful.. it provided mysticism and sense of wonder but I don't think it will fit the environment of Rebirth's ToA. This track captured the loneliness of this place... and the destruction that was caused by greed of people.

@@jdunc635 Because there were goofy little gnomes that went "nyum nyum" running around. It's also the fact that it gives Aerith a chance to connect with her heritage so it should be a little exciting. It also makes the twist and tone shift later in the dungeon when Sephiroth shows up more effective.
Was disappointed with the enegy of this tune tbh, this was the bit I was looking forward to and it fell short of my expectations xD
