Hey there. I ordered a master5v2 SpeedyBee…I just want to add the GPS system for gps rescue. But I don’t get the steps 1 and 2. which cables do I have to pull out? And where should I pull them out? And what is this „connector“? Where do I find this. Sorry I’m complete new in FPV.
I ordered the SB PNP with O3 and installed this same GPS and followed this video and get no more than 5 sats and to get them it takes at least 10 or more min. Having the arm switch turned on you will never fly seeing I cannot lock 6 sat. Speedybee should sell a shielded cable to prevent interference
You can run the GPS without Lipo, take a powerbank with you and just run the FC+GPS to get sats and change to LiPo when enough sats been found, then it will take just 10-30 seconds to get them back
Troncat shows how to shield the cable. It's just cooper tape wrapped around the cable then weld a wire to the new shield and solder it to the negative. I just finish doing and got a 30 sec lock up with 10 sats
Hey. I ordered this GPS module too. My question is, do I have to crimp one side of the cables? I have to tuck the loose side of the cables into another connector or?
@@steven3874 I made a wire that connected directly to the GPS to the FC. No soldering required. I also installed the GPS Mate that powers up the GPS before I plug in my lipo so I can lock GPS. This setup has worked great for me.
WERE HERE INSTALIATION , LOL

@@emafpv ok. Could you send a picture of it? You mean by wire a connector? So you crimped the cables into this?

Is the GPS preinstalled if ordered as BnF (O3 ELRS) with GPS?
no sir, I ordered this exact package you describe, the GPS comes in its own package with the cables.
No and make sure that you come back to this video because of the pin out in the plugs will need to be changes as shown
