    Thank you for your clear building, i flew rc planes 20 years ago, but now im overwelmed by all the terms and print plates..
    I bought the same as in this video serie "stack",so glad to see someone explain this mountain of electrics..all these connections pfff
    I hope it will work, and fly..
    Since there are no big open areas here in the hague the netherlands anymore where we use to fly, its not easy to connect in real, to see it in real..
    So thank you again!

    There was one big piece of solder debris sitting on one of the ESC chips when you tested it!

      Thanks for pointing that out!! I reviewed the video and at that point I had already finished soldering. Looks like it's a piece of plastic that fell out of the Vifly shortsaver 2 packaging when I took it out. You can see this at 35:20 onwards. Good catch though and I should have made sure there was no debris before testing it. Cheers! 👍

    it looks like the chips near that battery terminal got crazy hot during this process. I am always a bit worried about this step and I tend to limit the contact time to 3-4 seconds at the max, at 400 deg C

    looks like every iron is different, when I set my soldering iron to 400degC it burns everything around ;)

    I was learned at ABB construction dat a 3 phase motor got indeed pulses, but say 12 o'clock, 4 and 8.
    Than it does matter wich one is 1,2,3.. otherwise it would be like 12,8,4 and the push is out of balance??

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  3 месяца назад +1

      These motors do operate with the phases as you mention, but it doesn't matter so much in building the drone. The software in ESC handles all of this. I hope I understood your question and the answer makes sense

      It's a great hobby. Plenty of tutorials on RUclips that has helped me build my own and be able to make my own videos too! Happy to help if you have any questions.

      @@nxp200 thanks. Now I am confident to buy the parts, and watch your videos to build my first built. So far I am buying BNF or PNP quads.

    Nice man. Can this frame take 51XX props, or is it limited to 50XX?

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  3 года назад +1

      This frame takes 51XX props. I've got iFlight Nazgul 5140 and also Gemfan Flash 5149 that both fit and work great with this frame.

    do i really have to get a 100 c rate battery ??

    • @nxp200
      @nxp200  9 месяцев назад +1

      I don't pay attention to the C ratings that the manufacturer put on the label. I go by reputation of brand and reviews of others. I haven't had any issues with GNB, CNHL or Tattu branded LIPOs.
