    Real treat to be able to watch you work, especially twice. Beautiful artwork, fascinating techniques, too. I hope your shoulder is easier, now, I don't know if this will help you, I have a pillow filled with light sand that can be moulded to support my hand and arm when I can paint. Thank you for lighting fresh sparks!

    Graeme, this is a wonderful demonstration, and I hope to try it out soon. Will you eventually have an online class about your techniques? Would you consider a course that people can take on their own time, so you don't have to be present on line when they do so?

    Beautiful work. Interesting to watch all your different techniques and the effects achieved. Do you have a solid plan where your going before starting or are you just go with the flow as you create? I would be scared of it being too busy, but it really looks amazing. Great video.

    Hi. I'm not an artist by any stretch of the imagination but I have been watching these shows for a while on channel 44. I find them both fascinating and theraputic in equal measure. I was wondering why carbon paper was the medium of choice for transfering the image to the canvas? For someone with a shoulder injury might it have been easier to trace around the black and white image with a lead pencil, place it on the canvas (traced side down) and trace the same lines on the reverse side. You could do this either side depending on whiether you wanted a mirror image or not. This isn't a critacism, its just that what you did looked a little labour intensive.
    About 3 years ago I was diagnosed with a mitochondrial disorder which means I have very minimal energy so I tend to spend a lot of time thinking about the best way to expend the least amount of energy before doing anything. Again, not a critacism, just curious if there was a reason for carbon paper in particular.
    Hope that your shoulder surgery went well and that you have had a speedy recovery. :)

      @ColourinyourlifeAu  4 года назад +1

      Hi Anon, I do both methods but the carbon paper works best when you have put down a lot of acrylic paint as a base of some sort and the pencil just does not hold to the canvas as well, Graeme

    • @anonamuss1604
      @anonamuss1604 4 года назад

      Cool. I figured there would be a logical reason. Thank you for your response :)

    When you used the squeeze tubes, were they filled with just normal acrylics or was there an additive in it to give it substance?

    • @ColourinyourlifeAu
      @ColourinyourlifeAu  4 года назад

      just normal Acrylic Phil. I do water it down occasionally, Graeme
