Few years backi was reading bible to understand the religion. I was so much facinated with the stories in old testament. The most trigger story is how the israeli started to worship a golden idle of the cow and moses commotions around it. Representation of cow or a bull among those israeli meaning cows or bulls were worshipped in their tradition. The jew, christian and islam is based on abrahamic religion which i belive must have started from Bramha. I believe is some distortion in the history of those religion because they are good on making changes to harness power and rule the people where as hinduism is all about spritual attainment.

I find it strange that people are clueless about lingams and culture. These same people use India's yoga especially the Germans and attach Bible verses to it. Cultural appropriation plays out such as using Holi's sacred powder and using it in Britain or America's celebration
The Holi powder has so much significance to our deity's and our way of life. People are disrespectful of our Sanskrit language etc.

4:10 Hinduism is not polytheism it is polymorphism. One eternal god who is brahmand (universe) itself which morphs or take form of gods (all of them at same time, 4th dimention is time) we worship as per requirement of time.

    • @Dharmicaction
      @Dharmicaction Месяц назад

nah. It is not based on any "isms" let alone "polymorphism". "one eternal god" - There is no concept of god or heaven or hell in Hindu tradition. Non translatable Sanskrit word Brahman is not the same as god.
TAT TVAM ASI (SAMA VEDA) means you (immortal, conscious and immanent athma) are already that (immortal and omnipresent paramathma) - the impassive experiencer but not the doer. Shakthi or intelligent energy is the doer but not experience anything.
Immortal self athma and its intelligent energy always exist together (nondual) for the perpetual duality cycles of nature to happen. eg Manifestation and concealment of the universe. The duality cycles are sustained by shakthi through the balance of yin and yang mediated by the conscious field (within space and time) of athma (beyond space and time).

7:17 no they don't she is just mixing philosophy to science this is no relationship between atoms and shivling. If you want to know about Shiva here is the paragraph you should read:
    Sadashiva
Nature and Meaning: Sadashiva represents the highest, most transcendent aspect of Shiva. The term “Sadashiva” means “Eternally Auspicious” or “Always Shiva.” He is considered the supreme reality, encompassing the ultimate principle from which all existence emanates.
Form or Formless?: Sadashiva is often depicted with a form in specific traditions but is fundamentally beyond all forms. He embodies both the manifest (Saguna) and unmanifest (Nirguna) aspects of divinity. In iconography, Sadashiva may be represented with five faces (Panchanana) and multiple arms, symbolizing the five aspects of divine function: creation, preservation, destruction, grace, and concealment.
Role: Sadashiva is the absolute source and ultimate principle of everything in existence. He transcends all dualities and is the ultimate cause of the universe's creation, sustenance, and dissolution. He is considered the highest aspect of Shiva and is often seen as the ultimate reality that encompasses both the formless and the manifested aspects of divinity.
Philosophical Perspective: In traditions like Shaiva Siddhanta, Sadashiva is seen as the supreme deity, from whom all other forms of Shiva, including the formless and personified aspects, emerge. He is beyond time, space, and all forms, representing the ultimate reality that transcends all attributes.
    Shiva (Formless)
Nature and Meaning: Shiva, in his formless aspect, is referred to as Nirguna Brahman or the Absolute. He represents the ultimate consciousness that is beyond all attributes, form, and phenomena.
Form or Formless?: As the formless aspect of divinity, Shiva is pure consciousness and transcendental reality. This aspect of Shiva is abstract and without physical attributes or limitations. It is considered the fundamental essence of all existence.
Role: Shiva as the formless reality is the unchanging, eternal consciousness that underlies and pervades the entire universe. This aspect is associated with the idea of ultimate reality or the cosmic principle that is beyond the material world.
Symbolism: The formless Shiva is often symbolized by the Shivalinga, a representation of the infinite and abstract divine principle. The Shivalinga is used in meditation and worship to represent the formless aspect of Shiva, embodying both the infinite and the immanent nature of the divine.
    Shankar (Deity)
Nature and Meaning: Shankar is a personal, approachable form of Shiva. The name “Shankar” means “one who brings auspiciousness” or “beneficent.” In this aspect, Shiva is worshipped as a deity with attributes and forms.
Form or Formless?: Shankar is depicted with a form, making him more accessible to devotees. He is commonly portrayed as a yogi with a third eye, matted hair, a crescent moon, a snake around his neck, and holding a trident (trishula).
Role: Shankar represents the divine in its active role in the universe. He is associated with the cosmic functions of creation, preservation, and destruction. Shankar is worshipped for his benevolence, protection, and spiritual guidance. His role includes removing ignorance and ego, leading to spiritual enlightenment and liberation (moksha).
Symbolism: Shankar embodies the divine’s dynamic aspect, balancing the roles of creation and destruction. He symbolizes the transformative power of divine grace and the process of spiritual awakening.
    Summary of Relationships and Hierarchy:
Sadashiva: The highest and most transcendent form of Shiva. Sadashiva is the source of all creation and the ultimate reality that encompasses both form and formlessness. He is considered the supreme principle from which all other aspects of Shiva emerge.
Shiva (Formless): An aspect of Sadashiva representing the ultimate consciousness and reality that is beyond attributes and form. Shiva as the formless is the abstract, unmanifested divine principle that pervades all existence.
Shankar (Deity): A personified, approachable form of Shiva, representing the divine's active presence in the world. Shankar is a manifestation of Sadashiva and serves as the deity worshipped in temples and religious practices, embodying both the creative and destructive aspects of the divine.
    In essence:
Sadashiva is the ultimate, all-encompassing reality.
Shiva (Formless) is a specific aspect of this ultimate reality, representing pure consciousness.
Shankar is the personified, accessible form of Shiva, representing the divine’s active and benevolent role in the universe.

@Shuken_Editz "sadhashiva" "It is very simple. No need to hype it up.
What is Tat Tvam Asi ? (SAMA VEDA)
You (athma) are (already) that (shiva) - the impassive experiencer but not the doer.
      How is that possible?
Without the conscious field of Athma, nothing can exist or nothing can be perceived in its current form or everything disappears. Duality cycles of nature (shakthi or intelligent energy) cannot happen.. For example
      Birth/death (including reincarnation) youth/old age, waking/sleeping, male/female, day/night, action/reaction, freezing/melting,
      Summer/winter, manifestation/concealment of universe etc
This is why Vedas say without Shiva there is no Shakti (Intelligent energy) and without Shakti there is no Shiva (becomes shava or corpse). It is the reason why they always exist together (nondual) for the perpetual duality cycles of nature to happen . This is SANKHYA vedic metaphysics (combines Advaitha and Dvaitha) which can be validated by logic, double slit quantum experiment and embodied experience.
      2. How to confirm this profound truth
Shiva's conscious field is connected with prana shakti. Prana Shakti is connected to breath
Kriya Yoga says that if we focus on our breath, release it slowly, control it (5 to 10 seconds) and repeat it, We go from the wake state to dream state and then to deep sleep state. This transformation can take place only in the conscious field of athma (aka Shiva). Another obvious example is the young/old duality cycle of body or intelligent energy which also can be controlled voluntarily as well. A person who practices "pranayama" or breath control consistently all his or her life can delay aging. It also means, conscious field is omnipresent and not just limited to human "subtle body"

A lot of Hindu scriptures are not translated/studied. Many have been destroyed as well. If we translate what we already have, we may learn more instead of just co relating what we know today by old knowledge.
So below is the point where science is just coming to conclusion, that which we are aware from our very little understanding of scriptures or old knowledge.
The consciousness concept in Hinduism is still ahead of modern science. Modern science is only recently touching what is being told about.
Advaita Vedanta is the topic you would like to search to understand this.
Lectures by Swami Sarvapriyananda are very good on these topics.

The concept of Athman (soul) & Paramathman / Narayana (supreme soul, bring). In the Vedas, Ramayana, Mahabharata & Gita, we have the concept that Parabrahma / Narayana cannot be seen by human eyes, since humans are flawed creatures, with limited vision. They cannot see the Narayana in his entirety. So, the Narayana temples use the linga, to visualize the feet of Narayana on the rounded surface & we pour holy water or milk over the linga to wash the feet of Narayana. This holy water or milk is then collected & used to make prasadh or fruit of the ritual for the visitors of the temple.
This is the original use of Linga. Shiva is Adiyogi. In Linga form, he looks after his aradhya Narayana who is guiding him in his tapas to control his only weakness, his anger.
This is the originally from Narayana Sect.

In Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma, for some of the superior gods are being also referred to as "Ananta Koti Bramhanda Nayaka", I have been reading & hearing this term since I was a kid, I am now 46 years old, this term Ananta Koti Bramhanda Nayaka means-- (Ananta) meaning infinite, Koti here meaning countless, (Bramhanda) meaning Universe, (Nayaka) meaning the one who owns it, so the superior gods like Shiva, Vishnu etc were being referred to as Ananta Koti Bramhanda Nayaka, which meant someone who owns countless Universe. Now that scientists agree that there could be countless universes & they have coined the word MULTIVERSE now :-). Keep referring to sanata dharma texts & you will be amazed to the level & the depth of knowledge.

I take it that you like gaining knowledge and so I would recommend that you read the Shiv Puran first and then move on with the Ved's and the other purans. It's heartening to see your genuine curiosity, and I wish you success in acquiring the knowledge that you seek.
Another thing that I would like to point out is that people generally use the term "Hindu" and "Hinduism" when referring to Indian Spirituality and Faith, most Indians have also started doing this over the last 200-300 years, it's incorrect.
The word "Hindu" originates from the Sanskrit name for river Sindhu. The Indus River running through northwest India into Pakistan received its name from the Sanskrit term Sindhu. The Persians designated the land around the Indus River as Hindu, a mispronunciation of the Sanskrit Sindhu, and the term "Hinduism"was first used by Raja Ram Mohan Roy around the early 1800's, by the mid 1800's the term "Hinduism" started gaining popularity among fellow natives who opposed British Colonialism and wanted to distinguish themselves from practitioners of Abrahamic Religions, i.e. Christianity, Islam and Judaism.
I personally prefer ( and recommend) using the term Vedic Spirituality as it broadly encompasses the entire diaspora of faith and spirituality that has originated from India. That's quite a bit of information for one comment I guess 😛 I hope it helps you in your quest for knowledge!🤘🤘
Looking forward to more of your videos.

I like where your mind is going. Hinduism has a strong grasp of concepts that are just now being explored in modern science. Holographic principle, Morphic resonance, time manipulation. I mean the meditation systems alone are advanced psychic technology.

@9:00 yeah but the sad part is that during British rule, the Brits destroyed most of our religious texts and education... so a lot of information that we had already, was lost forever.
And also yeah, there isnt a lot of acceptance towards Hinduism in the world so I guess the world's never gonna know about all our scientific findings.

I love love love love your channel. I'm currently going on a similar journey by studying all religions as I'm seeking the ultimate truth. So far from what I have learnt is Hinduism speaks the most truth and also its the oldest religion in this worlds history.
Just for reference if you want to read all the Hindu literature, then you MUST read the Vishnu, Shiv Purans in total there are 18 puraans. In this literature you will learn about how the universe and this world was created, timeline of this worlds history, from past, present and future. There are many proofs of science in these books. After the purans you must read Bhagvat Geeta, recited by Lord Krishna himself during Mahabharat in this holy book you will learn about the soul, karma, deeds, relationships, knowledge, meditation, manifesting, best way to worship your God to attain him and most importantly how to attain Moksha (Salvation) from reincarnation. I look forward to more of your spiritual vlogs on this channel.

That is the reason why you never saw India invaded any other nation and also never performed any religious conversion ❤

In Hindu religion, no one ask you to follow anyone. You can choose you own god & own path of spiritualism. My mother follows Maa Kali (Goddess), I follow Lord Ganesha & we are living in the same house. I respect Maa kali along with several other gods & vice versa. In our country, everyone is like this. Even our own family didn't force anything on us.

The original concept comes in Vedas. In one of the upanishads, which were extracted from Vedas, describe the nature to be composed of three entities, Raj, Tam, and Satva, which are Sanskrit terms for proton, electron and neutron respectively. The upanishad explains that when there was an imbalance in these entities, there was an explosion creating universe. They even explain which directions universe began expanding in great detail. When I read this I thought of big bang and wondered if it came from upanishads. But we don't know that for sure. Vedas and upanishads were written about 3000-4000 yrs ago. In later ages, it was difficult for average people to understand Vedas and Upanishads they started portraying these concepts and terminologies in pictorials and stories or mythologies. That's why we have brahma, Shiva and Vishnu as creators of universe as compared to raj, Tam and Satva in Upanishads..this video may seem overstretching but the underlying concepts are true. Old sages and gurus meditated on these complxe questions like how universe was created and found these answers written in Vedas and Upanishads. Now science is just corroborating these concepts..

It's not about Hinduism predicted what science will do in future. It meant science was much more developed in those days. They knew more than us about the system and the universe in those days. Then with the time we lost that knowledge. Now we have invented a new technology to know this world. But we are at first level in that process.

True, we do not push our faith onto anyone because it's rooted in Hindu philosophy that Supreme being has given different paths for different kind of people and by accepting that play of supreme being we are also honoring its ways. Those who say my religion is the "only" way are usually the ones far from the truth. A true seeker will always find the truth no matter what religion.

Shi-Va means that which is not, the creator does not have any form, the formless intelligence. When Shakti the primordial(feninine) energy danced around him(This is explained in poetic sense) he roared and took the form of an ellipsoid which is the form of a linga. The first form was of a Linga and the first sound was AUM and not OM. All religions have this sound. But the beauty of Hinduism is it has kept alive in daily living. Coming back to the first sound, even bible says the word is god if I am not wrong. From the roar the creation happened... Also Adiyogi(which mean the first yogi ~ Shankar) was the first person who taught yoga transferred this knowledge was also know as Shiva since he was the first one to bring this to humanity and since he has reached the ultimate(Shiva) people started calling him Shiva. Highly recommend you try Shambhabi Maha Mudra Kriya which is part of Inner Engineering program where Sadhguru talks in detail about Sounds or creation and Mantras in general.

Hey again third comment but it's just soo intresting so..
The thing about if hindu scriptures can predict science is i think no because due to constant invasions most of the really old scientific knowledge has been burned, you can check or search about takehashila and Nalanda University, the mughals burnt tens of thousands of books there due to which alot of knowledge was lost. The libraries burnt for days, all the correlation we get now is from either vedas or puranas even where the vedic Sanskrit is very hard to translate and is often misunderstood.

As u hv seen there is entire library of research in Hinduism and to know for 1 individual everything is tough.... Like lets say u r a big business tycoon u have knowledge on arthashastra book by chanakya .... Where u read that book u get knowledge on administration economics politics ..... But then if look on books of plastic surgery, medicine research in book susrut samhita by susrut sage .... But one individual donot acquire such diverse knowledge .... Likewise mathematics calculas, theorem , astronomy by aryabhatta in book aryabhatiya, veteranary book by palkapya sage .... There are lots lots of research .... Thats why ppl in Hinduism choose relivant stream like science, commerce and administration, Arts and culture .... They do research in relevant field

I think the real reason why we Hindu's don't push it on others is because it's so complicated you couldn't even pay someone to invest the time to actually understand it, let alone convince them otherwise. The real purpose of it all, and the benefits you get from understanding what Shiva really is takes so much dedication and effort that religious conversions and coaxing is just out of the picture. It is said in the scriptures that a person won't even have an interest in Shiva unless it is their time to learn. There is a reason why people have an interest in Shiva, or any aspect of Sanatan Dharma, so there is no need to even talk to others about it.
